Great location ”
I traveled with my family of 2 teenagers and 1 child (2 yrs old). I definitely agree with the earlier reviews here that the location is great. It is only a 5 minute walk away from Shinosaka Station. We chose this hotel because we had to travel everyday via the shinkansen (with Osaka as our starting point, we had day trips in Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nagoya, then back to Tokyo). The hotel is new and modern and is located in a quiet street. There are lots of izakayas and convenience stores (7eleven, family mart) nearby. The only con: we got the triple room and the fourth bed is a sofa bed which is so hard. We asked for an extra matress to make it comfortable but instead they padded it with a comforter. The pillows are hard, too. Its a good thing they had throw pillows in every bed so we used them instead. But then we appreciate the front desk officer assigned during that night who made an effort to make the sofa bed comfortable. We arrived late and probably there was no housekeeper available.

The Sarasa Hotel Shin-Osaka is a great option for travelers. The location is excellent - quick walk to the train station and close to two convenient stores. It was very quiet, modern and clean. The staff were always very helpful and kind. I stayed 9 nights and would pick the Sarasa Hotel Shin-Osaka again. I used Osaka as a base while I also explored Kyoto, Nara and Kobe, so it was easy to get to all three locations via the trains at Shin-Osaka station. I also enjoyed seeing the sites in Osaka. I was very pleased with the hotel and enjoyed my lengthy stay.

Good place to stay”
The staff in the hotel were very kind and accomodating. They are also very helpful to foreign visitors and will give out good recommendations (for food and travel). This hotel is near the Metro Osaka Shin-Osaka train line (almost 2 to 3 mins walking) . If travelling from JR Shin-Osaka you need to take the central exit down towards the hotel and it will take a good 5 to 10 minute walk. Overall, it's a good place to stay. The room was very clean and they provide clean towels and toiletries. Will stay here again if we go back to Osaka.

Triple room - Spacious, clean, and great location”
Stayed in the triple room. The room was very clean and spacious relative to most hotel room sizes in Japan. The triple room had a Japanese style (shower/tub is separate from toilet) shower/tub bathroom, which I personally like very much. The room itself had a mini fridge and electric kettle which was nice. Location wise, this hotel is close to a major station and there are plenty of food choices and convenience stores nearby. There is also a coin laundry/drier on the first floor.

This is our second time staying with the hotel. The first was with my husband only. This time it was with my brother and sister-in-law. Pros: The location is near Shin-Osaka Station an access point to ride shinkansen to Hiroshima and Kobe. Easy to go to Kyoto. Dotonburi is easily accessible via Midosuji line which is also near the hotel. Shin-Osaka Station has plenty of stores and restaurants. We like it very much that we were able to leave our luggage for free with the hotel when we went to Sapporo and went back after 3 days (for a fee if you are not staying in their hotel when you come back from a short trip in Japan). Our luggage was already in our room when we came back for an overnight stay. Breakfast value for money. Cons: None I will definitely recommend Sarasa Hotel to my families and friends.

Very clean and good bathtub!”
The hotel looked very clean and new. All staff were friendly and helpful. Their instruction of how to get there (on their home page) was quite helpful (both map and instructions) and, in fact, it is close to the station. It was very cold when we were there, so, being able to soak ourselves in beautiful big bathtub was a treat! I can recommend this place to all my friends!

(1) Near shin-osaka station (choose South Exit) (2) Nice, clean and spacious room (compare to ordinary Japan-style hotels) (3) Comfy bed and pillow (4) Complete amenities, they even provide useful "shirt- for-sleep" (5) My highlight will be that mobile handy phone having unlimited internet access that they provide during your stay. It was very helpful assisting us in exploring osaka-kyoto (browsing places, google maps, etc)

Hotel was good, nice ramen stall opposite. Lawson, 7-11 and family mart are close by. As we travelled with elderlies and babies there were a number of logistics consideration to take care of.. JR station has elevator facilities as we have strollers and wheelchair we find that helpful. The shin-osaka metro station though, was a challenge every night when we came back as theres no elevator.. so we had to carry these down the stairs. Thankfully everything went well and hotel staffs were helpful in assisting the sending of our luggages to our tokyo hotel. A pleasant stay in Osaka! Pls keep up the good work.

Very clean. Staff was very kind. The hotel offers a smartphone with unlimited data and calling (both domestic and international) that you are allowed to take out with you, so I would highly recommend this place for someone from out of country who doesn't have an international plan. It's super close to Shin-Osaka, so it's easy to get to by shinkansen, JR, and subway lines.

Very clean and nice rooms. The bathroom and toilets are perfect! It’s TOTO Washlet! Breakfast are delicious with Jap and western style buffets, staffs are really polite and professional. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean, very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Though it is near to JR shin-Osaka station, little tricky to reach there. Enquire in the station office about the route. Otherwise, all good.

Located close to public transportation”
We mainly chose this place because of its location in relation to the train. Make sure you exit out of the proper side of the station or else you’ll have to walk a long ways around to get to the hotel. The staff we interacted with were nice. The bed was comfortable, the shower was strong and warm, and the room was clean. They have a small fridge in the room, but it doesn’t get very cold, we tried to find a way to adjust the temperature setting and had no luck. Also, there’s a sign on the bathroom door saying shower steam makes the fire alarm go off so we need to keep the door closed when showering/bathing, so we were just super paranoid about trying not to let any steam come out after our showers.

The hotel room we got was big and the toilet was separate from the shower which was a good setup for a group of 4. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. This is really close to the Midosuji Shin-Osaka station. The distance from the JR Shin-Osaka station too is not that far too. A lot of convenience stores nearby too. The room was big enough to accommodate our luggage as well.

Bigger than normal rooms”
I like the fact that this hotel’s rooms are much bigger than normal Japanese rooms. However, it was very difficult to find for the first time because google map doesn’t really tell you where to go correctly. You need to head the open area near baggage room, walk across the carpark diagonally, past bicycle stand. See the 7-11 then turn left. Once you know how to to walk that way, it is so much easier to get to the hotel.
