A pleasure once again.”
We stayed at the Saravoan Royal Palace Hotel in 2017 and had no doubt we wanted to stay there again. They did not disappoint. Some of the things we love about this hotel are the friendly, helpful staff and management, clean comfortable rooms at economical prices and a location that puts us walking distance to many of the central cities attractions and yet still provides an oasis of quiet. Thanks once again for a fantastic stay.
Great location. ”
Hotel great. The biggest problem is agoda.com. Your promotions, what you advertise what you end up paying. Its all a big con and am pleased we have new legislation in 2019. Please feel to contact me if you require constructive advice
Lovely Experience ”
I arrived at this hotel after a very early morning flight with my boyfriend. Despite arriving at 7am the staff not only ensured we had a room to rest in immediately but also upgraded us to a larger room. Both the Cambodian and Western receptionist was extremely charming and friendly with a great sense of humour and immediately made us feel comfortable. The main reception area is very calm and beautiful and decorated to perfection. Soothing water and lucious green plants created a peaceful oasis to relax in. I live in Bangkok and would not find a hotel for this price as beautiful there. The free breakfast was also to a great standard and made with fresh, high quality ingredients.. The hotel was also looking after a cat and her kittens which was not only adorable but very lovely to see. (Slightly irrelevant but anyone willing to care for animals gains extra points in my eyes!) Thank you, I shall definitely be returning.
Great location, walk to Palace & National Museum”
The outside gate is easy to miss, so we took a picture from on-line to help us find this place. Once inside; it's a beautiful boutique hotel, nicely decorated. All the staffs are polite and helpful. Room is clean, breakfast is ordering from the menu ( not buffet style) with good selections. The front desk help us to purchase the tickets for the dance performance at National Museum, It's a short walk from this hotel and many shops along the way, the culture performance is a must see. Yes, we had great time stayed here.
Look no further for Phnom Penh accommodation”
Stayed for 2 nights w 9 and 5 year olds. Hotel is converted from a local residence apartment complex, seemed like, with renovation. Nice design and good layout! Loved the slick breakfast area and the food. General manager, Allen, French men, was quite helpful. Great location for exploring on foot but ended up taking tuk tuk after dark even for short distance as street traffic can get crazy. Highly recommended.
all perfect if you are not fuzzy that it is a bit old but fully functional. Huge room. Huge bathroom. good breakfast. good internet. loved it.
Quiet Cozy hotel ”
Great breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms. The hotel is a 5 -10 min walk to riverfront. Many restraunts, bars nearby. Internet worked well. Cable tv was static. Takes a while to get hot water. Overall good hotel and would stay again.
Nice hotel with great service mind.”
Location is near all of the major attractions like as the palace and the museum or even restaurant and bars. The room was very decorated, spacious and spotless. The bed is very comfy and the wifi work very well. Staff is friendly and courteous. The owner of the hotel was generous and very helpful. He allowed us to early check in and check out late on the last day as my friend was sick from heat. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Good Choice to staying”
Overall it's good to place for sightseeing in Phnom Penh. Facilities are good senses and cleanness, Location is close to central of the city and not so far from the airport (About 20 mins with jam) Nevertheless not so much expensive. You can find convenient store very near. And if you have a plan to go to Siemens Reap it's available to use many bus and minivan services about 10mins by tuk-tuk. Anyway no stress to staying!
This is relatively new place near the royal palace(5 mins), national museum(2 mins) river front(5 mins) and Central market (15 mins) so almost walking distance to anywhere. we stayed at family room on the gound floor with 2 large bed, with big glass window overlooking the pond and the whole property. Nice choices for breakfast. Rooms are cleaned everyday and free bottled water everyday too. There's a mini bar, toiletries, robe and safe provided in the room. The staff are nice. They arranged a tuktuk for us to go to the killing fields and s21 for 20usd. Only few guests when we stayed there. I love the smell of citronella when u get in the room. Toilet and bath is big but no door, only curtain but still with privacy, i dont know the other rooms though. only thing is the drain in the tub, the water doest go down directly. But otherwise This is definitely reccomended place to stay in PP.
nice relaxing stay ”
It was nice to come into this nice quiet and tucked away hotel after exploring the neighbouring area which was chaotic and hot. Hotel staff and owner very nice and engaging. they gave us tips for things in Cambodia and helped book our bus tickets to some reap. we liked our room and enjoyed our stay.
What to improve”
Mattress is too soft, caused backache in the morning.
Great little hotel!”
A beautiful and cute place for your stay in Phnom Penh! We are looking forward to come back!
Beautiful boutique hotel”
Lovely beautiful boutique hotel, quiet location, tuktuk always right in front of the hotel. Walking distance to royal palace. Attentive staff n owner. They can arrange any tour and airport transfer.
Located in a quiet alley, yet is in the central of Phnom Penh city. Walking distance to Royal Palace and National Museum, nearby nice French cafes and local cuisine restaurants, in fact the food of the in house restaurant & bar was excellent. The staffs are friendly and very helpful especially the General Manager. Rooms are spacious, reasonably clean and we like the design and deco of this hotel, surely we will come back again.
Cozy boutique hotel”
Convenient location, walking distance to Royal Palace and Museum and restaurants. Friendly staff that helped me book airport transfers and recommended tours and walks. Good breakfast included with the room.
Nice quiet hotel tuck behind a street”
Staffs and Boss were nice and friendly, breakfast very limited. Room is big, AC underpowered, maybe because main doors were unable to be properly closed. Balcony good to have if you are a smoker if not you can do without. Recommended if: you want a nice quiet no frills hotel you can take a warm room. you can sleep with flat pillow you do not like rooms with view Not recommended if: you like a nice breakfast with good spread of food you like a room with cool and powerful AC. you need fluffly or well padded pillows you need doors secured with cards rather than keys.
Hip, boutique hotel-- EXCEPT the MISSING bathroom doors”
I would stay here every time when I'm traveling alone, but I would NEVER stay here with a friend or even lover/partner because there's NO BATHROOM DOOR in NONE of the rooms. It's just a small curtain! Can't believe anyone would design a nice hotel room like this. And NO FAN either! Maybe some travelers like to listen to all the noises of their friends defecating, and smell all the smells, too, but NOT ME. Also, as other reviewers noted, there's a problem with very limited hot water. It's more like air temp water-- which is not cold in Cambodia. Now that I've said all that, the truth is I liked the place. The hotel decor is modern and hip-- the industrial chic look, with exposed concrete. Good bed. Good breakfast. Convenient location. Competent and friendly/helpful staff. The owner, Alain, knows the problems-- so it's just a matter of time I hope until he fixes them, so I can stay here with friends, too.
Dear Ronald ...... I didn't see this review but now and because of that some customers don't want to rent a room with us ..... May be some of our competitors ask you to write this kind of bad review in order to affect our business .... We have walls to separate the bathroom from the room ..... our bathroom are very large and there is a big curtain to separate both of it .... it never be a big problem with others Guests, may two or three times some of them were surprised but never write a so bad comment .... Water is with solar ..... so sometimes ask may be one minute to get the hot water so that's not a so big problem too in a hot country ..... So I cannot thank you but before writing this kind of comment please try to think why you write it .... Regards Alain
Tucked away behind the palace this great hotel makes the perfect starting point for explorations in Phnom Penh. Good atmosphere, fabulous sized room and friendly helpful staff. I would recommend this place to my best friend.
