Good cost-benefit, right across the beach ”
If you are looking for a cheap hotel near the beach with not much going on just to relax this is it. The area is calm and not much going on but the beach is just across the street with restaurants with good seafood and an amazing sunset. The hotel is nice but needs some renovations and attentions, it could be a really good resort with some effort but then again I couldn't afford it. The wifi was almost not reachable of my room, the wood ceiling needs to be fixed and some other minor stuff that need to be fixed and better cleaned (for example the cables of the lamps near the bed). The pool is very big but seemed a little vit dirty. Breakfast is nice as welk as the staff, oh and the cats! :) So for this price it was perfect.
thanks ms lina, but we need much money for renovation.
Worth the money, and very helpful. Staff”
The hotel is big and really needs inprovement. I am very impressed with the staff who did her best in ordr to cater all our needs, she is very much willing to go an extra mile for us. She is the pride and jewel of sari sagara.
I want my money back. This resort is a nightmare with no basic amenities. Toilet was stinking”
Toilet was stinking & broken.no proper electricity in bedroom. Coffee maker was sooooo dirty ... I want my money back . Even when we reached , room was only available after 1 hour ... lift broken as well
thanks mr/ms samaunya priadarsih, we are a budget hotel, if our property is like a four star or five star hotel we will not sell our property for 20 us. if you want a vacation with high clash facilities, you are looking for four or five star hotels that many around our hotel. Thank you for staying at our hotel
Could be better for that price”
We stayed for a week. -: Hotel is very old, many old furniture at the lobby. A/C was broken, shower was broken, sink also was broken. Many cockroaches at the room. Towels were dirty. There was cat’s poop on our floor. +: Big room, balcony, nice staff, good location, beach and fish market is very close, good swimming pool.
thanks for your commend, we need much money for maintenance this problem. we so sorry for that.
Amazing pool, tired old rooms”
Big rooms, tired old resort. V bad lighting in rooms, aircon barely did the job, bed king size.. bathroom v dark. Stayed 2 nights was ok, ive had much much worse (im a budget backpacker). 10min walk to fish market to buy fresh fish and have it cooked for u across the road... that was a highlight!
Deluxe room nice”
I liked the spacious room and the closeness to the beach. There was only cold water, which staff explained was due to it being cloudy and they apparently use solar for heating the water. It says a lot of things in the advertising that weren’t there, such as ironing option, hair dryer, toiletries (just soap and tooth brush). The outside really needs renovations. Staff was really nice and helpful!
Ideal place away from Kuta for an airport transit ”
Our plane arrived into Bali in the evening so this hotel was chosen due to its close-ish proximity to the airport, the beach and local restaurants, but far away from the noise of Kuta. We were delighted with our one night here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the two pools were beautiful, the room was enormous and well appointed, the buffet breakfast was possibly one of the best during our week - and all at a bargain price during the low season. We enjoyed being just a stone's throw away from the sea - although it was full of plastic bags and wood. Fortunately for us there were plenty of local restaurants right opposite the hotel all very keen to serve us at 10:00pm which was really helpful. I can highly recommend this hotel for a short stay. I will definitely consider returning here!
This place that once was magnificent, has not been touched for 20 some years. It was like walking into a forgotten temple in the jungle, not a soul to be seen. I would never ever come back here even tho location is pretty good. It was dirty, scary, smelly, dead, and about to crumble to the ground. To pricy for the ruin it was
We stayed for two nights in the Sari Segara and right at the beginning we discussed to move again. The towels were dirty, the bed sheets wet, there was a disgusting smell and the pool was dirty. We are very dissatisfied.
Well past its former glory...”
For only AU$24 per night we were expecting some issues and a little run down... unfortunately the owner appears to be just letting the place fall apart! This is very sad as it was clearly once a grand, beautiful resort, but now the issues are: the room was unclean, yellow sheets, stained pillow cases, bathroom door would not stay shut, sagging and leaking bathroom ceiling, black grouting from mold, the TV only had local channels; the lifts no longer work; the foyer is dark and rundown; the pool area looked abandoned and the pool filter is obviously broken as the water was a dirty, murky green. This last issue was why we moved out after only 1 night... if we couldn't stay in our room or around the pool then why stay at all? I don't like writing bad reviews but other people should be made fully aware of what to expect if they are going to stay here... sad situation. We went to the Keraton Jimbaran (5 minutes down the road) it also has the traditional style but beautifully maintained!
We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Staffs are nice and the swimming pool is lovely! The only problem is they have no laundry which is really annoying! Lol! For sure I will choose this hotel next time in Bali!
We had a great stay for one night, friendly staff, amazing pool area and right next to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Refurbishment work did not disturb us. Food and dining I have marked as 4, as you have to score but we did not dine in the hotel at all.
Place with depressing vibes”
The place was under construction and it was also a bit spooky, like it had its best time back in the days. We stayed really short as there is not much to do around. We got a good offer but we only went there for the price and because the rooms were clean. Staff were not as cheerful as we are used from most places in Bali. I found the atmospere depressing.
Great place to stay!”
Great value for money - beautiful clean pool, right across the road from the beach, staff goes out of their way to accommodate you and all our food request for our 3 year old were swiftly met. Yes the place is looking tired and could do with a lift, but the price, staff, pool and location make up for it :)
Excellent value for money”
This hotel gives the impression it used to be 5* in the 70's and has become a little rundown, however for the price it is excellent value for money and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is huge and there is a good range of food and drinks on the menu that are reasonably priced. It may seem that you are in an excellent location in terms of the fresh seafood warungs on the beach however DO NOT go to the ones on the beach directly in front of the hotel as they are a hugely overpriced as this is where the tour bus coaches go. Instead, get a taxi or walk down to the seafood warungs at the south end of the beach where the fish is in fact much better and half the price. We didn't find that there was that much to do in Jimbaran and the hotel is very quiet so wouldn't advise staying longer then a few days, however a taxi journey to Uluwatu and back was reasonably priced.
first and last time”
I stayed there 1 night only. Location is across the kedonganan beach, hotel is very old and a bit spooky, room is very spacious and clean but deskphone at room is not working. When I arrived there it hardly to see other guest around so I was wondering if there were anyone stay next to my room at level 2 since I heard someone dragging table or other furniture in the middle of the night 😩. Hmm so coriuos....breakfast is awful and also expensive for buffet breakfast with limited food variety and it was not fresh food especially for tuna fish.
Good value for money”
Stayed here in a group of 19, two good sized pool, plenty of rooms and literally across the street from the beach where all the seafood restaurants are. The Hotel/Resort itself is fairly out dated but worth it I think.
A bit old, not very clean, but location is great”
The location is great. 20 meters from beach and sea food. The sea food in this area is ridiculously over priced. Negotiation from half of asking price is recommended. Anyway, can still enjoy the sunset on beach if not having sea food hear. The hotel itself is a bit too old. A renovation should be able to restore its standard.
old but very nice hotel to stay”
very nive stay but some noise at night because hotel near airport and lot of people arriving from europe or asia staid the firsts night in this hotel and some arrive at night so it's make some disturbing and noise ...... for the rest all is ok and well appreciable .
Old but beautiful resort in good location”
this is a very good value for money accommodation. The room was outdated, but clean and with a good shower/bath. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, food in restaurant is inexpensive and tasty. It is very close to seafood restaurants and fishermen village in Jimbaran. I would recommend this hotel for couples and families to stay))
