I was amazed by the overall experience of staying in Mode Sathorn Hotel, super friendly stuff that i wish to give every one in there a thumbs up. a little surprise birthday cake in my room when i'm returning to hotel in the evening! yes it's my birthday. the room is nicely design with good view, a big bath tub as i'm staying in deluxe room. the bed is very comfy and clean. hotel roof top has a nice bar with good view, you can see W hotel too. location: right in front of surasak station, may require some transit to other train for some destination. turn to your right on main road and 3 mins walk to 7-11. if you willing to walk further down and cross the street you will find an area with full of street foods (10 mins walk), near to Healthland sathorn and blue elephant (one of the top thai food restaurant).

Chatrium Residence Bangkok Sathorn has once again impressed me with their service standards. This is my third stay at the hotel and I had previously written a review commending the hotel on the great amenities and rooms so I will not talk too much about that. This time round, to my surprise, the assistant manager Mr. Sahapol Ladda personally came out to greet me upon my arrival while acknowledging that I was a regular guest. I was certainly not expecting this as I did not book the most expensive room in the hotel, i did not even book a room with breakfast but this just shows how much Chatrium Sathorn values their customers. I felt very humbled by the whole experience especially when Mr Sahapol told us to let him know personally if we needed anything at all. Bravo to Mr Sahapol for his outstanding service and attention to detail. In fact i would like to commend all the staff, from the chambermaids to the doormen and the security at the taxi drop off point. They always had a smile on their faces and never failed to be attentive to the guest's needs. Chatrium may be a 4-star hotel, but they get 5-stars for their service. Keep up the good work!

I stayed at the Anantara Bangkok Sathorn hotel only for 2 nights over the weekend and it was not my first hotel in Bangkok. I very much enjoyed the time in this hotel as the service and friendliness of staff is very good. The room (Deluxe) was very spacious with separate bedroom and two very big balconies. The amenities, furniture etc were of highest quality and all in all perfect. After a relaxing night I wanted to enjoy the bfast buffet but had to fight with many many people and queue up for the egg station etc. The bfast buffet area is just to small and cramped so it is not relaxing at all. The food itself was quite good though. I also very much enjoyed the swimming pool and the lounge chairs to relax. One more thing I did not like at all was the fact that you have to wait ages for the lift. As the hotel tower only has three lifts but around 35 floors. All in all the hotel is very nice but just too many people. But no chance to change that I guess.

Second stay at Sir Sathorn, and we were very very happy with the facility, the room was sparkling clean and fully equipped ( a Jr. Suite with Kitchen). The Door man remembered us from last March's visit and is one of the nicest well mannered young man I have met in thailand.... I visit here ever few months usually staying in Chiangmai city. But when in BKK, this is my hotel. Location so near Silom business banking district, up scale neighborhood 5 minutes to BTS station Saladeang on Silom Line. 2 train stops to Siam Center, the classiest most complete commercial shopping malls in the world --- also up scale . Central Bkk very very intense and busy, but you return to Siri Sathorn Hotel is the perfect calming clean quiet option that is minutes from anything you would want to do in BKK.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from a fussy middle aged American Farang with money ( Siri Sathorn is a 5 star bargain).

i accidentally had to stay in bangkok for three weeks and wanted to find a place that is affordable but at the same time, new and comfortable. i checked many hotels in the area (sukhumvit, sathorn, silom) but most of them with this same quality of the room and services cost perhaps 50 percent more than this. the hotel is quiet since it's not in the busy touristy area in which i love cause you could have more privacy. when i checked in, the guy asked me if i needed late check out and i was surprised as i stayed at other places in town and they hated it when i requested this but this hotel is very keen on it. the hotel has lots of free parking for guest, offers free wifi, and welcome fruits. the bathroom has both shower and tub while normally the newly opened hotel with the same price normally don't have the tub (because i asked several ones as i need it cause i injured my legs). overall, i love this hotel and would consider staying next time i'm in town.

I come quite often in Bangkok and Banyan Tree is one of my favourite Hotel in Sathorn/Lumphinee area. THe hotel is a 5 star without any doubt, facilities are quite confortable, in particular the SPA and there are at least 2 very good restaurant, one is Taihei which is the Japanese restaurant, nr.1 for the quality of the raw fish, and another is the Vertigo, which is now very good restaurant. Before I agree it was only the view that you pay, but now things changed (since 1 year). Gym / breakfast and other facilities are OK.

We stayed at the Grand Sathorn Hotel for 6 nights with two young kids (aged 4 and 6). Overall we were very happy with our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We requested a king sized bed upon booking and we got a huge room with a king sized bed, a day bed and lots of natural light. The roof top pool was an amazing getaway after a busy day of sightseeing Bangkok each day. The hotel is walking distance to the Skytrain, and Sathorn Pier which gets you to most places Bangkok. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

The Sukhothai is probably one of the most beautiful hotels in Bangkok. Although pricey, the experience is worth it. The hotel's stunning traditional Thai art, Buddha statues, beautiful gardens and lotus ponds create an oasis of tranquility that offer respite from one of the most bustling cities in Asia. Although the main road (South Sathorn) leading to the hotel is infamous for its traffic, there is a train station a short walk from the hotel entrance. Anyway, once in the luxurious and comfortable rooms, you may not want to leave (especially the Executive Suite). The pool is large with no lack of sun lounges. There is a tennis court with a coach for hire. Food at the hotel is of high quality. The famous chocolate buffet is a must for chocoholics and one of the best restaurants in Bangkok, Celadon, is an epicurean's delight. Overall, service at the hotel is impeccable, understated, efficient and warm. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special.

Sofitel So. is a stylish hotel that offers great service. Sometimes style takes precedence over function though. For example, the lobby is on the 9th floor and you have to go up one set of elevators to the lobby, and then another set of elevators to the room. This gets annoying. I realised they did this because the pool is on the 10th floor and they couldn't run the elevator shafts through it. Speaking of the pool, it's the most beautiful infinity pool I've used. It has a spectacular view of Bangkok that is unobstructed. My only complaint was that the water was freezing. It was so cold that no one swam more than 5 minutes. I was told it feels good in hot Bangkok weather, but it was a pleasant 80 degrees when I was there and the pool was too cold. They should consider heating it. The rooms are also stylish in whites and grays and chrome. They have large floor to ceiling windows and my room had a built in lounging area that was very comfortable. The TV is super hi-tech and allows you to stream data from your computer to the TV. Very cool. The bathrooms are al marble and glass with great rain showers. Being the Sofitel, prices are rather expensive for food. A simple breakfast for two cost $50 dollars. In Bangkok this price is exorbitant. But what do you expect in a 5 star hotel? The staff are very friendly, slightly eccentric, and very helpful. They are a phone call away. The hotel is located at the top of Sathorn Rd. It's close to the MRT and about a 10 minute walk from Soi 4 - a large bar district. It's a bit far from the BTS station, but not horrible. It's just in Bangkok heat, you may not want to walk that far.

I wanted a room with a central location to spend a couple of nights in Bangkok before returning home. Turns out the Ascott Sathorn is a serviced apartment with hotel amenities. I was surprised at the size of the studio room and later found out that it was the smallest room on the floor. My wife was very impressed as well. The super comfortable bed made for a relaxing stay and I enjoyed the pool and spa which included a sauna and steam room. I treated my wife to a facial which she loved. Unfortunately, we did not have time to dine at the restaurant but the menu looked excellent and we did order room service which was prompt and well done. Through in free wi-fi and I would definitely recomment the Ascott Sathorn. It seems expecially suited to buisness travelers and peope who need the amenities of an apartment and will be there for a while.

If u look for a choice of accommodation with cleanliness , safety, staff service and most valued for money in Sathorn /Narathiwas Rajanakarindhara Road. This is one of best choice for you to book. One day to one month will be such perfect choice. Huge room, cleanliness quality, staff , security, housekeeping , etc. Not the best hotel but always the best choice for smart traveller !!! Highly recommend !!!

FuramaXclusive Sathorn Hotel Bangkok becomes my default hotel for any business trip in Bangkok: - within walking distance to Chong Nonsi BTS - within walking distance to 711 convenient stores - within walking distance to the office buildings for my meetings - fair variety of food for breakfast, you must try fried rice which is the best meal - enjoy nice meals for lunch and dinner right in the restaurant during lazy or rainy days - on a budget, enjoy frozen food from the fridge right at the loppy - got dirty clothes, use washing machine/ dry machine at the 2nd floor (ask receptionist for coin exchange) - clean - super value for money - nice and supportive staff - don't know where to go, book tour at the counter right at the loppy

Holiday Inn Express Sathorn was where I stayed in Bangkok, then I left for Chiangmai for a couple of days and then back here. The baggage storage service was very convenient for me to leave the excess baggage, while i made the short trip to Chiangmai. They also offer 24 hour check-in, so I could book any flight, even the ones that arrive at midnight. Please note that the doors are NOT sound proof. When I got the room near the lift lobby, I was constantly awaken by the noise outside my door late at night and early in the morning. It was fine when I got the room right at the end. So if you're a light sleeper, do request for a room further away from the lift lobby. Also, I wish that the road outside the hotel was safer to walk. There are no pavements, so you'll have to be prepared to walk beside the moving cars. Other than that, I am very pleased with the hotel and would love to come back!!!

I've stayed at this hotel many times, but after this stay, At East has fallen down the list of my favorite Sathorn Area hotels. My biggest complaint is that, while there are blackout curtains throughout, the door to the bathroom from the bedroom is frosted glass, so light from the bathroom window floods into the bedroom early in the morning. The WiFi was quite slow. The pool, which I did not use, needs some attention, but the gym is good, the rooms are spacious, and the rooms in the back away from the soi are very quiet.

I had a seamless transaction here. It was a great find in Agoda. Walking distance from Sathorn Pier and Saphan Taksin train station. If you are a tourist like myself and my fiance, these 2 jump off locations would be your everyday starting points. Staff was very courteous. I even lost my security deposit receipt and they still gave me back my refund without any fuss. Queen sized bed, hot and cold shower, hot pot with coffee/tea/milk supply, fridge inside the room, safety deposit box, daily buffet breakfast....I believe it was very much worth the $30/night rate. ;)

We enjoyed the stay at the U Sathorn Hotel. Although it is not close to public transport, it didn't matter to us, as we always took a taxi and for our purpose it was well situated. The staff is attentive, the rooms nice (nice and big shower), the location is calm and the breakfast was good with a nice choice of hot and cold food. Good bread (I liked the croissants) and sweet watermelon. The pool has comfy beds with big towels, although it is only around 1.2m deep. I'd definitely go back there.

From the moment we arrived, the staff from Rohan the manager down were fantastic. This is how all hotels should be. We travel constantly and this is for me the best. I have been traveling to Bangkok and the rest of Thailand regularly for 26 years and was amazed by the metropolitan! I have been using the same hotels in sathorn for a long time and fancied a change . Will definitely be staying here from now onwards. Special mention for Jack at the pool area ( I knew him from a previous hotel) , who provided great friendly efficient service. Had dinner at nahm in the hotel and this was a truly memorable meal. Fantastic value suite as well . Don't stay anywhere else for a 5 star experience.

Ibis Sathorn Hotel Bangkok is a new hotel. It is just start operating 1~2 months ago. The hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The hotel location is fine but the Lumpini MRT station is a bit far which is about 7 minutes walk. It is a walking distance to Suan Lung Night Bazaar. For those who is the Fitness First members, you may use the fitness facility at Q. House building which is about 7 minutes walk from the hotel. On the other hand, there's a 7 Eleven which is just around the corner on the right hand side of the hotel. Besides, there are few Internet cafes which located just beside the hotel. If you are hungry, you may go to Mali Restaurant which offers a good food for breakfast, lunch or dinner! The restaurant is nice decorated and you feel like home when dining at Mali Restaurant! The owner is an American and he is very friendly and helpful. Besides, the staff is very nice and friendly too! You know, the Sweden Royal family had visited this restaurant in 2002. You may find their pictures on the wall and even in the menu!! You may ask the hotel staff for direction... If I have a chance to visit Bangkok again, Ibis Sathorn Hotel Bangkok will be one of my choice!

What a lovely place. It's in an ideal location and the rooms are a generous size. We had originally booked for a week and were going to use the apartment as a base to decide where else we could stay in Bangkok during the 2.5 months we are here. However after just three days we decided to book the rest of our stay here at Sabai Sathorn. When we are in Bangkok we will defiantly stay here. I read the reviews on various hotel sites and the vast majority where very positive but there where a few negative ones (which there always are anywhere) which suprised me so I decided to give my views on the place. This location is a serviced apartment and not a hotel. Firstly, the photos are a good representation of the building, like any photos they are taken on a sunny day with flowers in room and fruit on the table but they certainly look like our room. Ever visited McDonalds and see the pictures of food and then look to see what you get served :) Finding the place is very easy and the BTS (Chong Nonsi) is very close (3 mins). Close by are numerous restaurants of all tastes and prices. There is a 7-11 just 40m from the apartment! We find the management and staff very helpful. We had a bag damaged by the airline and they helped with the dealings with the repair shop for us. The manager speaks excellent English and the staff are very helpful. Silom (Soi 9) or Sathorn (Soi 10) are only three minutes walk and the area feels safe with taxi's easily available outside the building. Everything works fine in our room, the water is hot, the a/c is lovely and cold and the place is very clean. The room we stayed in is much larger than your standard hotel room. We have four cases and we certainly aren't tripping over them like we would in a hotel. Maid service is every two days and very good. Haven't used the pool yet but it looks very clean and I was suprised at the fitness room as all the equipment looked quite new. We would certainly recommend Sabai Sathorn.

i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the somerset hotel in sathorn. the one bedroom suite was huge, with a lot of light and all the necessary amenities (including a washing machine). the gym was very nice, as was the swimming pool. very good price for what you get ! the breakfast was ok, but not outstanding. the staff was very attentive. the porter checked the taxi meter in a taxi i booked and had the taxi driver put it back to its normal level (it was 20 baht above the normal 35 baht level). i will go there again for sure.

Hotel is already a bit run down. The whole infrastructure could use a general renovation (floor corridors, room decoration, bathrooms, or the pool area on the roof top). But staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially the parking lot staff (we arrived by car). The bedroom was clean and well prepared at arrival. The bathroom not 100 % clean (found long hair from guests before right on the floor). That's why I can only give three of five stars. But the location of the hotel is in the middle of Sathorn, perfect located at BTS Silom line. Next BTS station is only 2 minutes away. Lebua tower with sky bar and Chao Phraya are only a few 100 meters around the corner. The price is perfect for this location (around 25 € per night) if you have a tight budget and if you are comfortable with basic standard.

Location is very good. It Takes only 5 minutes walking to Saladaeng BTS Station, or you may also walk 5 minues to Lumphini MRT Station. My room doesn't have window. But it's okay because the room is so cozy. Easy to find because Chaydon Sathorn located in big Sathorn Road (near Malaysian Embassy). The room is very clean. They serve bath towel, hand towel, mini refrigerator, kettle for boiling water, electric stove. The room also so spacious for two persons. It's a lovely hotel with a very good price.

The Narathiwas Residence is essentially a serviced apartment with a large buffet breakfast provided. The apartment has a large lounge area, a balcony, large bed, kitchen etc. it has the facilities of a 5 star hotel, with the added bonus of the size of an apartment. The front desk staff are attentive, professional, and speak English. The location is an advantage as it is very close to the busiess district of Sathorn/Silom, and the many nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The accommodation compared to the cost of a 5 star hotel represents very good value for money.
