Nice base to explore Helsinki”

We stayed with my wife in this place for almost a week. It's really an apartment complex, so each unit has a bed area (bedroom?), small kitchen (with basic utensils) and its own bathroom. Basic toiletries provided (no toothbrush or toothpaste), no slippers. House cleaning is once a week (or after check-out). There's no check-in counter, they will email you the access code to the building and to your room. You must also throw your own garbage; laundry area is also available. All in all, it's really like living in Helsinki. As for the location, it's still a good 5-10 minute walk from the nearest tram station and around 20 minute walk from the main station.

Perfect for a City break”

Have stayed twice now, once in a one bedroom flat and this time in the studio flat. The room was spacious and light. Furnishings were modern. Shower excellent. Position in Helsinki good for transport, walking to market and shops. Quiet neighbourhood. Will certainly be using Sato Hotelhome again as my son and family live in Helsinki and I visit regularly.

Clean, spacious, great wifi”

The apartment is spacious and full with cooking facilities. The location is at walking distance to nearby attractions and public transports. The accessibility to the apartment however, is a bit complicated as they will send you pin code and apartment number separately in the email 4 hours before check-in time. This is a bit problematic for people who travel from oversea and have no access to internet before check-in time. I had to call before hand to get the apartment number and the staff was very helpful. Overall, the apartment is great and cosy.

Alert for Travellers to Sato”

Booked two apartments, but one unit was out of entry due to door password given by the apartment office not working and couldn't gain access to unit, Call several times and email upon arrival on Friday afternoon approx 4 pm plus but given phone, (phone number label on the entrance glass door) too didn't answered by any staff. It was on answering machine reply stating no staff around (training) and back only Monday. following week, therefor no choice but to find alternative place to stay at Helsinki. Upon returning. Filed for refund and thru Agoda but they convey that Sato Hotel response that they cannot make the refund. It was not my cancellation but fault of their office and they don't want to take responsibility. The proof is there with the cctv system installed and they know the truth. I just only wanna highlight my bad experience and people need to be alert with this particular hotel apartment. Helsinki is great place and we enjoyed it. Cheers.

Sato Hotelhome Kristianinkatu has everything I need. That is an amazing apartment. I stayed in one bedroom apartment and very satisfied with it. The apartment is big, very clean and especially fully equipped. I would definitely stay again in this apartment next time. The only thing I would advise Sato Hotelhome Kristianinkatu is to guide where to store rubbishes and provide guests with machine soaps for washing dishes.

Nice Apartment”

It's an apartment and you get an access code before, so late check-in no problem. There is no staff on site, which is no problem. It is very cosy with an fully-equipped kitchen. Overall a good alternative to a hotel.

Homely. Don't expect luxurious Apart'hotel but you everything you need. ”

A walk to tram stop but it is central location. Check in late at 4 pm. Useful if booking confirmation tell us how to have luggage stored if your flight arrive early. Should have a map in the apartment.

Good location, 10 minutes away from the central train station. Walking distance from supermarkets and notable department stores. Warm and clean. Only complaint would be that they ask you to take out the rubbish when you leave and you need a key code to open the rubbish area which we couldn't because it was two minutes past check out time and our code was disabled. Not an issue but seems a bit silly to limit people to take out the rubbish before they pack up and leave the flats as opposed to doing it all in one go.

Nice apartment but location not very convenience ”

Nice decor apartment. Be prepared to walk about 10 mins to get public transport to central. Heater in apartment was not working. Customer service is limited to call only, while we had no local number to make a call. Only realized there was extra charges on credit card bill which wasn't showing on booking confirmation page.

Nice and clear room, good location.”

Good experience. The systemic heater was turn-off in summer. But we still feel cold (temperature 5-17 degree C), especially in the night. We mail the SATO office about this thing, and the office called housekeeping to send an electric heater in the same day. That made us warm and more comfortable in the night.
