Green grassland no longer exists”
Green grass land villa is no longer there. Despite having paid for our room and having exchanged several e-mails prior to our visit it wasn't until were picked up and taken to a completely different guesthouse that we were told this. The guesthouse we were taken to was Silver Moon guesthouse, owned by the same people who owned Green Grasslands. The hotel is in a different location, although is the same spec and is very nice but is not what we had booked. We had a pleasant stay although the family room was a real squeeze. Jack and Moon were very pleasant and helpful, booking us a great trip to My Son and generally looking after us. The kids really enjoyed the pool too. But we feel they need to be up front about the change rather than continue to advertise as Green Grassland.

Nice place, but ALWAYS ASK FOR THE PRICE first”
We was excites to find this hotel for our visit to Hoi An, but left totally disappointed when we found out the owner rip us off on the additional services. We asked for her advice on how to book the bus for our next trip. She said she would help us with that. Without her providing us with any additional info or pricing, we assumed she was just reserving the seats & we would be paying our fare in the bus like usual . Not until we checked out, she said she booked us to go on a van instead of a bus & we would have to pay for everything, even the fare to her, and the price was almost double the market price. Way to make money. She made it feel like she was very nice and accomodating, but every little thing had a hidden price attached to it, and apparently much higher than it should be. We learned a lesson to always ask for the details & pricing not matter how nice the staff might appear to be. Especially for this Green Grass Land Villa, we would NEVER letting them "help" with anything.

Stayed here last month. Hospitality was the best we received in Vietnam. Rooms was very nice and clean. They also had fridge, kettle, iron and hairdryer. The woman was very helpful and cooked our breakfast in the morning! Not really any faults.

Had a twin room. Room is lovely and clean, great ac and cosy blankets provided. Tv has a couple of movie channels. Moon the owner is very helpful- with great recommendations for eating spots etc. Its a bit further out but only a ten minute cycle to old quarter and about twenty minute cycle to the beach- bikes are free and by far and away the best way to see the city! Definitely would come back here if ever in Hoi an again!

Exceptional place to stay while exploring Hoi An”
An absolute gem in the beautiful town of Hoi An. It was our best homestay during 2 weeks in Vietnam by far. Moon (the owner) is super friendly and ready to answer all your questions. She also has so many tips for best places to eat, tailors and things to see in town. Housekeeping is flawless. You can use bycicles for free at any time you want. There is another thing which is organized to all of guests (at least once) by Moon and her family. I can't tell you more about it, you have to experience it yourself while staying here! Paulius

Comfortable and cozy. Owner Moon was really friendly and super hospitable. She hosted a nice vegetarian one of the nights for the lodgers too. Location is just a 10min bike ride from the old town and 20min to An Bang beach. Would definitely recommend this place.

The location is quite near from the ancient town, just 5 mins to go there by motorbike. The staff is friendly and helpful. Booking via Agoda is much cheaper compared to direct booking. Will stay there the next time maybe

The location was a bit far from the center, but manageable. The rooms were big and clean, and the AC worked very nicely. The staff was polite an eager to help, maybe a bit too curious about your plans and the costs of everything you bought. Breakfast was full 10. The place should have some sort of a hanging place outside, otherwise GGLV was a good experience.

Excellent family villa”
We stayed here for 3 nights and found it so good we decided to stay and extra night. The family owners Jack and moon are very friendly and more then happy to organise tours, motorbike hire etc. The breakfast is simple yet enjoyable and they make great Vietnamese coffees! Situated a 10 minute bike ride from the old city and 20 minutes to the beach there is a number of nearby restaruants within 5 minutes walk. Rooms are large however on the higher floor water pressure is s little low. Highly recommend staying here for your trip to hoi an!

Our stay for two nights”
Me and my boyfriend we stayed for two nights there and it was just amazing. Moon the landlady is such a wonderful person. She offered us free her motorbike and as well bikes. In the morning she cooked us breakfast which was so tasty and as well we had a lot of choices. The rooms are new, modern and really clean. The location is only 10 minutes by walk to the city center which is really close. I would highly recommend to stay there. We had a excellent time. And we wish Moon and her family all the best for the business.

Le Green Grass Land Villa s' est révélé un hébergement de qualité à quelques pas du centre ville. L'hôtel est récent, très bien entretenu, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien aménagées. Le petit plus serait l'accueil qui nous a été réservé : le jeune couple de propriétaires est particulièrement souriant, curieux et disponible. Nous avons passés de bons moments informels autour d'un thé et même un cours de cuisine à domicile! Je recommande ce lieu les yeux fermés tant pour le confort des chambres, la qualité des conseils et services rendus, et la sympathie des gérants et de leur équipe. Bravo et merci!

Nära till resturanger”
Vi bodde här en hel vecka utan att dom städade en enda gång. En gång sa dom till att dom skulle städa senare under dagen vilket dom aldrig gjorde. Så kom ihåg att be om toapapper varje dag. Läget är helt okej. Ca 20 min promenad till marknaden, ca 5min med cykel. Många resturanger på vägen. Det känns inte som att bo på hotell utan mer som att bo hemma hos någon. Var beredd på att ständigt bli utfrågad vart du ska, vart du varit, vad du ska göra imorgon, vart du köpt klänningen, dina saker, vart du köpt mackan osv,. Intresset var inte äkta då vi fick svara på samma frågor flera gånger pga att hotellvärdinnan aldrig noterade våra svar. Vi tyckte detta var det värsta av allt. Det kändes som att bo hemma som tonåring. Vi skulle inte rekommendera detta vidare då vi kände oss obekväma under vår vistelse.
