                  I have been here many times. Even though it's a close to the hustle and bustle of sukhunvit/nana, it is down the soi in a quiet location. Rooms are decent, staff is nice and helpful (special thanks to Aom).

                  Safe location, with other small hotels/apartments in the same street. centrally located, you can get a Grab or taxi easily. There are two 7-11 stores you will pass before reaching the hotel if you're walking, so that's good. Free shuttle (golf cart) ride to Nana Station if the driver is available. Usually 1PM onwards. More often than not, he's not there. Breakfast was great. Some dishes were repeated each day, but I have no complaints. Restaurant is only open for breakfast, I think. Facilities - room was clean. Everything was provided for. Water pressure was good, water heater was functional and consistent. WiFi was good from our room.

                  this is a nice little hotel on the quiet soi 8 the rooms are very small so if you travelling with lots of luggage maybe not for you ideal if you travelling solo i like soi 8 have many nice places to eat and relax

                  I stayed here 2 years ago when the price was lower and was very impressed with the value for my money. It was more expensive this time, but still worth the money. Soi 8 is within walking distance of Soi Nana and Soi Cowboy and even to Soi 22 bars. Nearby are all sorts of restaurants and coffee shops as well as shopping. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very helpful and nice, and I love that the rooms have a walkout balcony with a decent view from the higher floors. I will definitely stay here again.

                  Location - Why not Good ? Hotel is good, No but the location was not as expected. Actually, it is at the very inner side of the Sukhumvit Soi 8, near about the dead end and you do not find any public transport nearby. You have to walk a long distance to the main road to get public vehicles or taxi or Sky train. Nana Station is on the main road but only negative is you will have to walk a lot. Also, the location is not near the Happening Places on Sukhumvit. If you are a party freak and want to stay at the center of the action, this hotel is NOT for you. Location - Good for Whom Location is very good if you want to stay at a peaceful place at Sukhumvit Soi 8. No crowd, No noise of Vehicles or market, pubs etc. A very Quiet place. Best part - Staff was very cooperative and Helpful. Especially I would like to mention receptionist AOM ( Malisa). She was very friendly and helpful and guided about a lot of good things. If I once again go to stay at this hotel, only reason will be Aom.

                  Great value for the location. An attentive tuk tuk service gets you up and back from the top of Soi 8. Great breakfast and the room was very nice too. I go into Bangkok often and I will definitely go back to the Sawadee Hotel!!

                  As the title indicates, love this Hotel. So for my budget, this is my stay, great Breakfast,(remember its not 5star your not paying 4000 a night). My Mother joined me earlier this year, she was more than happy, says it all if you know my mum. Have stayed in numerous Hotels in this vicinity, this caps it for me. With the little golf cart that can run you to the top of soi 8, or run you back a little under the wear. Just Great. Like minded people will like this Hotel. Smoker book the Delux balcony. Enough said. Probably stiched myself up with this review, everybody will be booking and I cannot get in. But, hey the truth stands out in a crowd. Rob

                  everything is small -small elevator, small breakfast area, rooms are small but good for two people. great location. quiet but very close to transport (BTS Nana) walking distance to Terminal 22 shopping, sukhumvit MRT, walking distance to bars restaurants. Staff very good, room very clean, clean bedsheets, clean toilet. only thing is maybe they could have two toasters not one? in the morning there can be a que. great hotel for budget conscious travellers , would not hesitate to recommend.

                  sitting in bed watching a RAT running around the room was not much fun, hotel receptionist thought this was funny but I certainly didn't, they did move us to another room but we felt uncomfortable. breakfast was very basic, I only booked 1 night but had I booked more I would of checked out and found somewhere else. the only good thing about this hotel is the location DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

                  Hotel staff are not friendly at all. They dont even smile, except for one cleaning lady our floor.”
                  Location was a bit far after a day of walking around. The place was okay if you're not picky. The staff are not helpful. Seems like they hate their job. They should be good with customer service since Thailand or Bangkok is the 2nd most visited country in the world. I don't even know why they're called the country of smiles because they really dont smile at all.

                  The hotel was located near BTS Nana, several minutes on foot. A small electrical car was available for transportation between the hotel and the BTS station. My room was nicely renovated and enough hot water was supplied while taking a shower. The self-served breakfast time was from 7am to 10am, happy with fresh coffee and green salad.

                  Fantastic location near bars and restaurants. Lively but not over busy. Plenty of massage places around to relieve those aching feet after walkabouts and shopping. The hotel is quiet, clean and has great friendly staff. Ask them to book a taxi for your return trip to the airport to avoid more expense or hassle on the streets. Looking forward to staying there on my next trip.

                  nice small hotel on soi 8 about 5/7 min walk to nana bts or the hotel provides a free golf cart up to the end of the soi the rooms are small but its ok if your like me you be out of the room for most of the day the breakfast is ok nothing special but ok for the price

                  not good for families,older people,Poor Access”
                  hotel has poor access if you are carrying heavy bags or families with babies in prams, ramp is not wide enough and slippery when raining ,there is not enough space for access with prams or trolley with luggage. Quite steep.As usual Thai lack of thought given to design.Old sawasdee had good access but it was redesigned.Sawadee needs better architects with common sense not just something that looks 'good'

                  Great location at walking distance from Sukhumvit road and Nana BTS station, but away from the noise of the nightlife. Room was small but nice. Reasonably clean except for a dusty staircase and hairs in the bathroom that weren't cleaned up during my stay. Rooms were noisy and all of the noise came from other guests. Voices, tv, telephones ringing, people knocking on doors etc.

                  Have stayed here many times. We keep returning. Love being in smaller hotel where we know the staff. Always fun seeing a familiar face. Enjoy balcony view of the city at night. The street has a good variety of restaurants.Great location!!!!!

                  nice little hotel on soi 8 rooms are on the small side but ok I had a small balcony to relax and have a smoke the breakfast is good I enjoy my stay here the staff are friendly and polite there offer a free tuk tuk to the end of the soi to the nana bts but its only a 10 minute walk soi 8 is a nice location
