Such a cute property with great, clean rooms and nice bathrooms. Awesome location right next to all the tourist stuff but tucked away on a side street so it’s quiet enough to feel private and quiet. Cute restaurant and bar right downstairs!

Best location for foods and bars (night life)”
It is located at the very good location in the Khao San area and surrounded by a lot of foods/bars/massages/shops. The room is just fit for 2 persons and aircon is super but there is no wardrobes, toothpaste and toothbrush. Swimming pool is not attached in this hotel and go to another hotel to get free access by 2 mins walk. Beers price are double with other shops. Recommend to eat outside. Very good to stay and worth it for the travellers who just look for sleep at night.

Nice little hotel”
Lovely Hotel in a great position for food and nightlife, central to some of the historical sites in Bangkok. Lovely and clean nice rooms and great value for money. The only downside is it doesn’t have a lift and could be unsuitable for anyone unable to climb stairs.

Great hotel with kind and helpful staff! The room had a mini fridge, bottled water, hair dryer, and safe. The location is a 2 minute walk to Khaosan Road and a 15 minute walk or quick Tuk Tuk ride to the Grand Palace! Great location in the heart of Bangkok!

Modern Basic Room”
It's a decent place. Everyone has their own of decent level. Take a 4-star business hotel and scale it down to a 1-star without loosing much of the 4-star sense, reduce the space and facilities. That's what you'll get with this place. Yes, it is a very decent room. not the corridor, not the entrance but the room. its very nice and comfortable. A little small to stretch yourself on a 360. I will definitely stay again.

Great Location”
The location is very cl;ose to Khao San Road yet away from the hustle bustle. We were fortunate enough to get the place for 1000 Bhat for two occupancy room with breakfast. The staff was courteous and kept our luggage in storage room for 6 hours after we had checked out. Would definitely stay at Sawasdee House if i was to visit Bangkok.

Always a great stay at Sawasdee House”
This is the second time that we have stayed here. We chose to return to Sawasdee House for several reasons. 1. The room is always clean and there are no bugs. The rooms are not as good as the photos present it to be, but still a great choice as an in-between hotel. (in-between an expensive hotel, and a backpackers hotel). There are no windows on the bathroom, but surprisingly there are no bugs. 2. The location is amazing. We love staying on Soi Rambuttri. Its just off the busy Khao San road, so you are close enough to walk there for that vibe if you want it. Rambuttri also feels a little more "family friendly". So if you have kids, it would be a better location compared to Khao San Road. 3. The kitchen never closes. The bar never closes. Some things that might cause you not to like Sawasdee House: 1. Since there are no windows in the bathroom, the room can be somewhat noisy at night. Nothing that leaving the TV or the air conditioner on didn't cure though. 2. The room was not that big. There was a nice bed, with a bench to sit on or to keep your bags on while staying there. We will stay here each time we return to Bangkok, and would suggest others to stay here as well :)

Superb location. It's behind a restaurant we'd visited numerous times on previous visits to bangkok. Very comfortable and great staff. Taxi driver struggled to find it though and dropped us at the sawasdee further in Rambutree. This one's at the khaosan road end, which is a perfect location if you want to be around there.

Location is amazing”
Even when the hotel is on the Rambutree Road you can sleep very well. Transport, Tours, Seven Eleven, Food, Clothes, Souvenirs is all around, so you can get a lot of extra advantages when booking this hotel. We booked a superior room and our stay was nice and relaxed. The staff was really friendly with us and the kids. I can really recomend staying at Sawasdee House.

Long time visitor”
I haven’t stayed at Sawasdee house for many years and noted significant expansion and enjoyed staying there once again, especially after realising that I needed a larger room with air con to convalesce in. The location is very convenient and I even had a view of the Wat across the road, which was magic. Staff, although extremely busy were very helpful.
