delightful, a cheerful and helpful staff combined with the clean and newly renovated rooms combined to make an enjoyable stay. the lovely breakfast garden setting also served as a pleasant cocktail gathering place in the evenings. the main restaurant known for it's delicious european dishes has been serving the residents of cebu city for close to thirty years and continues to maintain a high food quality and quiet ambiance.

Great Older Hotel off the main street”
The Hotel has been around for a long time but it is well kept up. Since it is off the main street it is quiet and comfortable. The on site restaurant makes good food but expensive It is within a short walk of the Ayla mall so it is a convient location. The Hotel makes a good HQ for anything in the Cebu area

Great location”
Older German style hotel with open courtyard (don't worry about the rain!) Room was surprisingly large with semi-separate lounge. So you could have business guests there. Friendly staff. Hot water not always reliable. Breakfast in the restaurant was great. Beware of the hash brown: it's very big - only order it if you have some people to share it with! Easy walk to Ayala Mall - just a few minutes away. You only have to cross one road to get to it and it's easy to cross. Don't worry about the street people along the hotel driveway - they're harmless and the security guard is there.

Spacious rooms”
The St. Moritz is an already older hotel which has it charms for me but may not be everybody's cup of tea. Good location, within walking distance of the Ayala Mall, very central in the city. A good Swiss restaurant is in the hotel.

Good location”
Location is good, with a shopping mall and a 7-1 nearby. The street in which the hotel is located is not very well known by cab drivers and doesn't look too inviting, but there's no reason to worry. Food at hotel is good and rooms are spacious in a very old fashioned way and style, definitely not a modern hotel by any means but it's good. Internet was extremely slow though.

Accesible Location”
I really enjoy staying because of the room is very big and the interior was amazing, Actually i tried not using aircon still it was cool. But i have trouble with the wifi connection because i think the hotspot is trap by the cement wall. i suggest to transfer it at the center so that all rooms in the second floor can access fast wifi. The breakfast was so delicious. friendly stuff. The location is accessible to ayala, mango square and It park.

It was a short stay arrived at 9pm and check out before 12nn the following day. the room ia huge with living area but dated. the fridge is not plugged so you don't easily get a cold drinks but restaurant is there. a little pricey but good enough. serves yummy desserts and staff are nice people. short walk to Ayala.. formerly St.Moritz hotel

Good location”
The location is good with a shopping mall (Ayala heights) and a 7-11 nearby. Food is good at the hotel but internet was extremely slow. Not happy about that. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are old and spacious, very different to modern hotel rooms. Well worth the visit, providing the internet speed gets sorted.

Nice little gem in Cebu City”
This is a well established hotel, with great and spacious rooms. It's a bit older but it also gives that little bit extra 'flavor'. Within walking distance of the Ayala shopping center and it has a great in house restaurant.

Huge rooms in this older style hotel.”
this hotel is situated a bit off the main road going to the major shopping area, ayala mall. it's only a few blocks away. it's an older hotel that has been there awhile. it sits 1/2 a block or so off the main street so it's quite. the room here are huge. it is more like a large studio suite without the kitchen. the bed was large and comfy. very low key hotel, nice staff.

Big rooms, old hotel”
i booked the st moritz becos it was handy to everything and the rooms were large. the hotel is old, but is being refurbished, so some rooms out of action and a bit of construction noise. had breakfast on 1 morning, but was charged more than the menu, or the menu was ambiguous??? not sure. i did order a club sandwich on another night and it was awful, had tuna in it?? other than that the towels were not very well laundered and the bed cover had a cigarette burn in it. the staff were polite and helpful, and i met a couple of interesting regulars who had a sprightly turn of conversation!

the location is good to ayala mall. it takes less than 5 minutes. the road to ayala is safe. the room is so clean and wide. toilet and shower are separated by glass in the bathroom.

The receptionist was there at 2 am in the morning and was very helpful even though i was extremely tired. I did wish they had cooled the room in anticipation of my arrival.

Rooms looked recently remodeled. Clean and modern looking. Excellent lighting in the room. Conveniently close to Ayala center just next few blocks if you need to buy any essentials. Taxi is also convenient to get from this location.

Excellent value for money. Central location, large rooms with cabinets and shelves. Comfortable seating and dining area. On the minus side, furnishings and beddings very worn and used, needs replacing or refurbishing. Same thing with staff, not always friendly. Rooms are not sound-proof either so you "share" in whatever is going on right outside your door or next to you. Restaurant food good German/Swiss eating!
