nice resort”
We enjoyed our stay at the Sea, Sand Sun. We got a room in the new 2 storey building in the back and first asked if we could move to a bungalow (before having seen any of the rooms). The manager showed us both and we eventually decided to stay at the new and very spacious room in the new building. The resort is not that big, but cute and in the middle of the beach. The staff was nice and helpful, the pool was great, they had really good sunbeds on the beach and they also already offer free internet connection. As our room was in the back of the building, the connection didn't always work that great, but it was fine on the beach/at the pool. We rented a scooter from the resort, which was easy and worked without problems. Our room was pretty quiet except of a cock who screamed before sunrise and on friday there was loud music from the weekly parties at the Where Else Resort next door (the other nights were quiet). They offered great fruit shakes, but breakfast is not worth getting up in the morning for, we skipped it after the first day and had something else in one of the numerous other restaurants on the beach. The beach is full of supercute resorts and restaurants and we loved the atmosphere there at night. As stated before, it's not that great for swimming because of alle the rocks and it looked quite sad in the mornings because of low tide, but the water was back around 11 am and then the view was great. The beach is generally quiet, in spite of high season it wasn't packed anywhere, so it was great to relax. We loved the beach and Koh Lanta in general, the resort was totally fine and worth the money!

Nice and cozy”
Spend 3 nights at the resort. The promotion price is really-really value for money. We stayed at the new building. Family room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Very quiet at night. Very clean. The staff is nice. Breakfast is nice. Great location with short distance to good restaurant and 7E. Swimming pool and beach is superb. However during out stay there is a water shortage problem. I am not sure if it is the whole island having a water shortage problem or just only this resort. The bed sheet is new but I feel it a bit sticky. Parking is small. If too many cars, you have to park outside at the main road. Other than that, I highly recommended this hotel to anyone wanted to stay in Koh Lanta.

Will not return here”
We had a great stay at the sea sand sun hotel, and we ended up extending our stay by 5 days. The location was awesome if you wanna be right on the beach and close to the backpackers partying area' there are tons of cool hippy bars on the beach and great restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is okay, we only ate there once because we found it was way overpriced for what you get and also compared to the tasty food you can get elsewhere. One of our favourite restaurants was lanta sure! Be sure to check it out if you are visiting koh lanta. Our cons about the hotel was first off the cleanliness- there was tons of little sugar ants in our bathroom, every morning our toothbrushes would be covered in them even when we had them in our cases. But the main reason we won't be returning here is because on our last day my girlfriend was re packing her stuff and noticed that all of her tampons and pads had been taken by housekeeping. The hotel is worth what you pay but make sure to lock up anything you think is valuable, unfortunately that has caused us to not return to this hotel again.

Highly recommend, beautiful hotel in paradise”
We loved staying here, the location is perfect, right in the centre of Klong Klong beach, very nice family run hotel and restaurant, beautiful food. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. The sunset is stunning from the beach out front, such a relaxed atmosphere, I would highly recommend it. Would stay here again!

We stayed in the hotel and it was fantastic. There is beautiful clean pool on the property and the beach is amazing. Great deals at the resort restaurant as well as tons of restaurants walking distance along the beach. You can rent scooters at the property and a little market by the road. Beds are very comfortable. Family held resort. The bungalows are rather old but AC works perfectly. Breakfast fine. We did not try the restaurant. Nice restaurant nearby: "Klong Kong restaurant and tour" (charming, cosy restaurant with nice food). The pool has nothing in common with the picture (small but very clean), the beach is "non existant, rocks + all garbage wash ashore, tons of plastic.

Nice quiet location, a few rocks in the sea but a nice pool. Staff lovely and really helpful. If it's a relaxing time you are after, this is the place. Plenty of bars ans restaurants close by.

Excellent location,very clean place.”
Our overall stay was great, the place is right on the beach with loads of choices of places to eat and drink nearby. The pool is really big too. The breakfast is good , our only complaint is that some of the staff don't have much English and sometimes you don't get what you asked for. Also they organised a taxi for us on our last day and we didn't think to ask a price before as it was through them.and we had to pay a ridiculous amount..

We had room at building which is first facility of the complex. Room was very big, well equipped, great AC (quiet, well cooling), cleaning every day. Breakfasts were good, you can choose even Thai breakfast (1 Thai in two different options). Quality of Service during the breakfast was depending on who served you. Sometimes we had to as for something we normally get without asking. Very kind and helpful manager - she runs this business very well.

The location was perfect and the room was amazing. But i found a better room at a 3.5 star hotel for less and it was 50m down the road. Still enjoyed my stay though. Small pool.

Really like this place, helpful owner, great pool. Breakfast ok, nothing special. Seemed to have quite a few returning customers. Stayed in one of the cottages which was great, big with nice patio area. Didnt get wifi in cottage, had to move to reception.

Pros: location at the beach, nice rooms Cons: staff was not too attentive (it took 3 days for determining whether an extension of the stay was possible and if yes for which cost) We would clearly go here again.

Our stay was relaxing. The beach is one step away from the resort. On low tide it is nearly impossible to swim because of the rocks. At the beach there are many nice restaurants and pubs. In the night you can hear the muezin and the disco ! Although the muezin has a better sound...
