Amazing location, great price!”

We arrived a day earlier on Koh Phagnan than planned, so made a one night booking through Agoda. We chose the Sea Sunset based on location near Thong Sala and were extremely pleasantly surprised by what we found. Simple bungalows, but with very comfortable queen sized beds, and a fabulous simple bar. Very friendly, helpful staff. For the price, location and comfort, it's tough to beat! Wish we'd had more than one night!

Nice quiet spot”

My partner and I stayed here for five days and we really enjoyed it. The location was perfect for us as the beach wasn’t too crowded and the massive rocks were awesome to sit on to play guitar and watch the sunset. The bungalows also have a hammock so plenty or R&R was had. The staff were lovely too. Definitely will be back.

Stunning Sunset view, not in the noisy area”

We stayed here for a week over New years so we could go to the full moon party. We didn't want to be too close to the full moon beach as we wanted some peace and quiet. This hotel was perfect, it is very basic, and the rooms may be a little small if you have a big group but the overall experience was perfect. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food in the resturaunt is some of the best i've had. It is also very affordable, chocolate bar is great for relaxed nights watching the ocean and plays some great chilled tunes.. I would definately stay again. Also each villa has a hammoc on the balcony so you can lay and watch the stars at night

Nice and quiet place right on the beach ”

Nice relaxing place to be. Nice restaurant with good food. Only real downside was that the bedsheets and the bungalow in general always felt a bit damp. But guess that's what u get when it is right next to the sea. Aircondition wasn't very good, but overall a good place to stay, specially considering the price. We stayed in the family bungalow.

Small rundown bungalows with beautiful surrounding”

We stayed here for three nights during full moon period. The location is quite a bit out from haad rin but it's beautiful with a little beach area right at your feet. The bungalows are the cleanest though, could do with a lick of paint but the bathroom is surprisingly ok. Bungalows are tiny also and bed has bed bugs so wear long pants! Even though the bungalow wasn't the best we still really enjoyed our stay here so relaxing, the food is great in the restaurant and nice little bar opens at night where you can watch sunset

quiet location, huts not in great condition”

Area: It's a very pretty loaction. Right on the sea. But it's very quiet. If you want to go to parties in Had Rin it's very far away. Huts: All the huts come with a hammock in the porch which is nice, but thats about it. Very basic accomodation. Pretty dirty. Musty smelling. Not very secure at all. Cheap and basic.

Beautiful view”

Beautiful view, god service, quiet area. All in all it was a great stay. I would recommend this to anyone.

nice sunset view hotel”

quite nice hotel direkt on a beautiful beach, but the cleaning stuff don't want to work 2 days i wait for cleaning room very bad, too much drug using people as guest there smoke in front of you in the restaurant very bad..! thats a low budget hotel only the beach are nice .i not prefer this hotel for long time..

Great location but noisy from the bar”

The bungalow was basic, but nice and close to the beach, the family restaurant was good and cheap. The problem is that there is a bar, that plays music until late at night, or should I say early morning.... You need ear plugs to sleep or.... stay at the bar.... Nothing they can do about it....So if you don't care about late party, choose a bungalow next door, it's quite and peacefull....

close enough to the port and town. fantastic beach. the bungalow itself was a little bit of a let down. very basic. basically a room with a bed in with daylight showing though each corner of the bungalow. the insects weren't as bad as expected but there were still loads and the hammock had bed bugs... i've got the bites to show for it. food was good and beer was cheap. only stayed there for three days so didn't get us too down. go! enjoy!

The smallest bungalow we have ever seen”

We wanted to stay on the island for while but didnt want to be on Full Moon Party beach. The resort has a very nice restaurant with great food but the basic bungalows are very old and very tiny, literally double mattress and shower. Our 1st bungalow was infested by ants, millions of ants, so we changed for another one.

Just don't stay here”

Been travelling for three months and I have to say this was the worst accommodation we have booked! There were two ants nests in big wholes in the wall and a bed full of cockroaches, they were under the bed/sheets/pillows! Telling staff they didn't care just gave us bug spray. No other rooms were available until 12pm we asked again to be moved room and they had rooms free,this room was also smelly with a dirty bathroom! I can not recommend this accommodation

Acceptable”

Don't ever stay here! As soon as we walked in the room we faced a cockroach. During a stay of four days we found 4 of them along with many other critters. There were countless holes on the floor, the walls and ceiling that would practically mean that you sleep outdoors. Bathroom was hideously dirty and the cabinet was leaking. No hot shower of course. Only good thing was the bar by the beach which had a great view.

Gross and awful”

This place is disgusting. Needed a place to stay for the full moon party. The washroom was not even decent The place stinks. There was actually newer and nicer ones beside it but the hotel staff would not let us upgrade even if we wanted to pay extra. Will not stay here again

Totally hawful”

Totally negative . Staff: - dooesnt speak english, they dont bring waht you order -if you complain the answer is " if you dont like you go another place ". Room: - no curtains, everybody can look inside -bed, look really white, but it smell humidity as hell -door of toilet doesn t close ( + no curtain.. is a hot show for everybody outside) -room dirty, you can find chewing gum on the table Food: -always bring you something different of what you order -portions are Really small -fish not fresh at all, i can see how they took it from the freezer
