a must go-to hotel small and relaxing 3 min walk to town, very good staff they try hard”
stayed here for one night a few weeks ago and things were great but out of alot of things onthe menu ,went back 2 weeks later and it started out really bad booked on line and when we get there the management never informed the staff and they rented out all of the rooms and the boss was gone to cebu after a bit of freaking the staff gave us a room that some one eles wanted the room was in the building away from the office right next to a hall they rent out and there was a party going on and as you all know Philippine like to make a lots of noise and have fun , the room wasn't nearly as nice as the rooms by the office , so with the noise and not so nice room with no wifi in that building and none at that resort at all that night in the morning we are very pissed off and are leaving but the staff got us a room we had before and a cheap boat to the island and got some bread for the free breakfast they saved our trip .best hotel on the beach lots of decks, sand ,good beds, good air con,
Our Wedding and annual family vacation : )”
For the last three years we have spent our annual vacation at Seahorse and this year was so very very special as we were able to take our relationship to the next level and be married there!!!! Sir Jim, the owner, put us in contact with a Wedding Coordinator, NOCRAP Photography and Maam Ronna pulled together a host of Suppliers to tend to our every need for a most wonderful Wedding Day : ) GREAT JOB to you all!!!! We arrived Dec 16th at the tail end of a Typhoon and couldn’t risk the high seas at Seahorse and Sir Jim had arranged for us to be taken care of at Emelia Hotel and Resort…. A nice stay over and very nice pool area for the children to swim the next morning when the sky was clear…. The Wedding was fabulous!!!! We arranged also for a boat trip to Fantastic Island with the Seahorse Boat…. Another amazing day, snorkeling in crystal clear waters, zip-line, kayaking… and a little Red Horse : ) We will be back to Seahorse next year for my Brides Birthday….. can’t wait to back again
very accomodating staff and dili tanan lihok nimo kay bayad. its like they treat u as a family member. very nice people... looking forward to our next vacation. kuwang pa ang one day stay. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😉😉😊😊😊
Great Location for Funtastic Island”
The staff and owners are very helpful, warm and welcoming. We only stayed one night and booked 2 rooms. There were 10 of us. We booked here because we wanted to visit Funtastic Island. The rooms were very spacious. All in all we had a very great stay. The sunset there was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend.
A short break”
Location is good. Nice beach & safe for kids. Service is fairly slow at peak times but this is probably due to the lack of staff. Staff are friendly and helpful. A day trip to Funtastic Island is a must if you have kids. The boat is available by booking with the resort staff.
Good location on the beach. Rooms are spacious. We stayed in the family room which had a small kitchenette. Aircon worked. Filipino breakfast was included. More staff are needed at meal times as it can take an hour to get your meal.
A nice pleasant time. Not main stream. ”
The seahorse is a facility which has options for weddings and functions. It over looks fantastic island and is situated on a small sandy beach. There is a deck with a nice out look. The feeling we received was not welcoming for the entire duration of our stay. And for the effort to travel there and the experience I would miss this place and search for more of a hotel that can accommodate more for foreigners. Breakfast is filipina. And the food is home style.

Quiet and clean”
Very nice place beachfront. The room was good and clean and the staff very kind! Hope to go back soon
Weekend with no other guests”
All in all it was a nice weekend... its downfall were the fly and hope the dogs were not stray dogs coz they kept on staying near the food area... the beach front was cleaned early in the morning... great view of the sunset... great boatmen who offered us a total 360 degrees tour of gibitngil island via the bangka... staff were approachable... at the time it wasnt fully booked thus only me and my family somewhat owned the whole area...
Seahorse has made it very difficult for my business trip. I made a reservation for two rooms through Agoda.com, of course, were also payments. But when we arrived there was only one room. Seahorse manager made an excuse Agoda coordinator did not recognize on the reservation to him. It was a business trip with the VIP, I was very embarrassed, the manager was irresponsible.
Nice.. psaceful.. fun.. refreshing
nice to meet you”
Our stay at Seahorse was very pleasant and met our travel and comfort needs. For us it was a base from where we were able to visit family and friends in the area and could have them join us for meals in the resort and have fun on the private shore. They arranged our island bout tour and the staff was accommodating.
Far from most everything....good and not so good.”
This can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. The town is Kawit and it is small....very small. From the looks of it, the Seahorse Inn was built with a grandiose idea of an oasis far from the maddened crowd. They succeeded in the latter. First, the not so good. It is hard to get to. You have to be lucky enough for find a tricycle driver who is willing to go out of his way to get you there. It will cost. However, if you are coming from Bogo City, there is a bus that runs through the area, just ask. Only slightly cheaper. Either way, travel light. One other drawback. There is an elementary school across the street and classes and kids are there (ie noise) from about 7am to 7pm. On the positive side, the staff is very nice. They will do what they can to make you comfortable. The room itself is acceptable. The view is gorgeous, especially at sunset. Be camera prepared. Go in the water at your own risk as there are lots of rocks and the water doesn't look too clean. The sand is very good and rivals most upscale beaches if laying out is all you wish for. You can walk into the small town for less expensive food, but it can be hot and dusty for the 4-5 blocks you walk. Seahorse Inn has a restaurant, but the menu is limited. Breakfast is the better of the meals and is served 24/7.
