Great place with nice staff and great view”
the area of the hotel is the quieter part of chaweng beach. we are travelling with 2 babies under the age of 2, and so it was important for us that they will have a great time. in seascape beach resort they do. the staff are very friendly.

Nice Bungalow spoilt by stupid pool rules”
I only stayed here one night and everything was fine. I then stayed 3 nights at the opposite "Akwa" guest house. The Akwa uses the swimming pool of Seascape. It was a nice pool and I'd had several drinks and a massage the day I was an "official resident" The next day when I came over from Akwa I was denied a towel! I actually thought the guy was joking when he said it. No towels for non residents but you're welcome to use a boiling hot sun bed. The pool was deserted and he had a huge stack of towels. The sun bed was scorching hot and impossible to sunbathe without a towel. I spent 3 more days by this pool but didn't buy any more drinks and didn't have any more massages. It cost them about 1,500 Baht which I spent elsewhere - glad they're doing so well they can turn this money away because rules are rules. I spend my life travelling and always write a review. For the first time ever I'm going to say I wouldn't return to a property. Back to Koh Samui - yes. To Chaweng - yes. To Seascape no - there are so many other places to stay. I hope they and their towels are very happy.

perfect beach hotel in great location”
we moved to this hotel after leaving another because they didn't have any beach chairs. so glad we did. amazing value, couldn't believe what we got for the price! bungalow was small, but clean, close to the ocean, and had everything we needed. service, except for the breakfast staff, was superb. breakfast was average, but made to order and at least hot and fresh. beach and hotel was the perfect location and beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. many restaurants and bars within a quick walk, but still a quiet and nice area. the beachside restaurant was very reasonable with prices, and set up lovely candle light dinners right on the sand in the evening. the service when dining on the beach was absolutely fantastic and the menu at this resort was much cheaper than anywhere else on the beach for the same kind and quality of food. the massage staff (right side when facing the ocean) were not great. seemed bothered that i was interrupting their conversation when i enquired about a price. had a pedicure by them and literally received nail polish and that was about it. try one of the massage parlors outside of the hotel for better services for cheaper prices. pool wasn't that great also, would probably look for somewhere else if you are a pool person more than an ocean person.

Lovely hotel located right on Chaweng beach”
This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel in the last year. Usually it's for a family holiday which the place is perfectly setup for with plenty of sun loungers, a nice pool for children and fronting on to what is the nicest part of Chaweng beach. I was travelling on my own for this trip and really appreciated the friendly hotel staff, who were always willing to stop and have a chat. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day and each bottled water was left in the room. The hotel has good wifi coverage throughout the grounds making it possible to skype friends and family back in the UK. Will definitely be staying at Seascape again and recommend it unreservedly.

Great place”
Seascape, is a great place to stay at. The location is close to Walking Street, and far enough away at the same time. The pool is nice, and garden areas well kept. The staff was very nice to us. Let stay way past check out, because our transport was late. Thanks Seascape! See you again, Mark

Best value we could find on Chaweng Beach!”
We were really pleasantly suprised at this hotel given the price we paid online. Best value we could find in Chaweng by the beach. Really big room overlooking the courtyard which was fairly quiet given that you are just off Chaweng high street. Big comfy bed, nice room, balcony and bathroom. Restaurant right by the beach, good selection for hot and cold buffet breakfast. Pool looked a bit small and tired but you really dont need it as the beach was gorgeous and although waves were a bit rough while we were there it is shallow and turquoise for miles out so we had fun swimming. LOADS of shops restaurants etc. right on the doorstep. Would recommend to anyone on a budget.

excellent, clean absolute beach front”
I have often used the restaurant here and have a drink at Happy Hours as it is right on the beach, have a swim walk back to your chair, (If Russians and Chinese have not taken it over). Room spacious, spotlessly clean, good air, good TV, Staff have good English not much room for parking but staff always there to assist you out. I only stayed because Agoda had a special but next time I go to Samui, which is regularly, I will stay here, special or not. Breakfast chef not very enthusiastic and initially I rejected the rock hard fried eggs although cooked fresh, she was too busy talking on the phone to notice the eggs were burning. 2nd day, they ran out of bacon but gave extra Ham. Only complaint is the noise from the taxis on the road but nothing the hotel can do about that. Thai taxi drivers and owners are arrogant, ignorant in Samui and Phuket, overpriced rip offs and do not care about other peoples comfort. Okay Bangkok. Chaing Mai where Russians have yet to take control.

After the nice places I stayed in Koh Tao and Koh Phangan, I was not impressed with Seascape Beach Resort. It is quite a ways down the beach from the main drag. It is old and the whole resort closes down around 9pm. There is no social nightlife, bar or restaurant, which makes for minimal interactions between guests. As a solo traveller, I would not recommend staying here. It seemed like a lot of older couples that liked the breakfast buffet and the pool.

Great place”
Great, we thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a problem with the bathroom and water dispersing slowly, but the staff at the resort couldn't have been more helpful. They were outstanding in their efforts to repair it and kept us fully informed all the time. The location is a little away from Chaweng centre, but there are many songtails that will take you for a few baht. The location on the beach is fantastic, not as busy or noisy as the more central resorts. The only very minor criticism I could make is that the pool is not as large as it could be. Overall though, great place, fab staff and good value.

Excellent Chaweng beach resort”
We had an excellent 9 day stay. We booked a standard bungalow but were offered an upgrade to a large hotel room, which we accepted. The bungalows are a bit nearer to the beach, the hotel building is closer to the street. All in 100 meters from the beach. Our airconditioning had a problem and we switched to another room without any problem. All rooms have a balcony and excellent hot water showers. The beachside restaurant provides an sufficient breakfast and an excellent seafood-grill. Staff was excellent, friendly, and literally ran to serve you, but not overdone. Weird to experience staff running/hurrying to be of service. But it was in a friendly/casual manner rather than the ultra-polite/humble thing some asian hotels provide you with. We had an excellent stay just before Decembers second half started and it became more occupied quickly. Recommended, surely.

I had a wonderful stay at the Seascape. The resort receptionists know how to address needs of the guests and they are efficient unlike other bigger and more expensive resorts around. The restaurant servers are also very nice. I would recommend Seascape to friends and colleagues. . .

Nice Resort Right on the Beach”
We started off on a rough foot with this resort as our check in was not very pleasant. The person who was at the desk acted like she didn't find our reservation or even greet us at our arrival. After a few minutes a man came walking in and also did not great but started trying to copy our passports. The printer he said was not working and said he would walk us to our rooms. Very odd interaction, we were definitely a little nervous how the rest of our stay would go. In the morning, we were greeted with a beautiful beach and also nice breakfast. The resort is a little dated but after a walk on the beach we noticed ours looked much nicer than a majority of the ones we saw. Loved the Chaweng Beach area though.

Comfortable stay”
Good location about 1 mile from center of the Chaweng beach, easy to walk specially if going from beach. Hotel is old and run down, yet has everything you need for a reasonable price. Right on the beach with nice restaurant. You can dine on the beach! Don't expect the staff do anything above their duty, but this was the case everywhere we went in Thailand. Wifi was good and strong. Air condition worked properly. Room very clean. Overall very good value for the money.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location right on the beach, can't beat the free breakfast buffet on the beach every morning. Not too far of a walk away from everything Chaweng has to offer. Had a great stay, wish it could have been longer!

Good location in quieter end of Chaweng”
nice hotel in the quieter end of chaweng. hotel is right on the beach so perfect for relaxing before heading into the main shopping and nightlife areas. rooms are fairly basic, but adequate with tv and comfortable bed. general service of hotel staff was good and they were able to take me to kar soni pier for 500 b, which was incredibly cheap.

Best weekend ever”
I was amused with the view/facilities offered. What can i ask more...with attractive price, i can have beautiful beach & peaceful during daytime. I do not have to go out from the hotel. Massage by seaside is the best!! U can also book any trip & rent a motorbike at the receptionist. Room was huge & clean. I love this place!

"Perfect for our family holiday"”
We stayed in one of the bungalows near to the pool and beach. It was for 3 people and the staff added a fold out. Our children ages 5 and 7 were very safe here. The staff were friendly and an extra set of eyes when our children were swimming. The beach out front of this motel was not the best for children but the pool was right near the beach and the children prefered to be in the pool. The food was really good here and reasonably priced. The motel booked flights for us and were better priced than the travel agent out the front. We also hired motor scooters from here and they were good qualiy with us having no problems with the bikes. It is a stroll to the main area or easy to jump in a taxi out the front. We were the only family staying and more children would of been great, but the staff certainly did some entertaining.

Our stay at Seascape Resort was great. The staff are friendly and location is excellent, within walking distance to everywhere, yet is quiet. The room is spacious and clean.
