We lived in a Seashell Self-Catering in may 2013. Can confidently say this is the best guest house on the island. Everything in it is at the highest level! Clean, large rooms, comfortable kitchen, luxurious living room, a washing machine, a beautiful terrace and landscaped garden. Room design art, a lot of beautiful things and details. Of course, loved the friendly hosts. Many thanks to them for comfort! Thank you for the delicious Creole dinner given to us! We remember our stay in this hotel as a fairy tale. Seashell Self Catering turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It was chosen especially because of price, which considering location seemed to be far better than other self catering apartments on Praslin. Spacious, clean, all kitchen appliances you could wish for ... and even washing machine. Cindy, the owner couldn't be more helpful - bringing us each morning a fresh fruit plate and giving us every possible advice regarding the island. The ocean is some 30-40 meters away, beach is not the best on the island but can be enough for the 1st swim. Just on the beach is Capricorn restaurant, extremely tasteful food. Not cheap, but worth what you pay for. Bus station is just a few steps down the road and small shops (food and souvenirs) are at the same distance. Most pleasant memories and would stay again!

The best period from our Seychelles honeymoon”
We stayed 4 nights at Seashell and we had a wonderful time here. Our host, Cindy, received us with a basket full of local fruits and with a glass of cold juice which was more than welcome on the hot arrival day. She helped us to hire a car at a very good price and also cooked for us in the last night a delicious creole style dinner. The accommodation is close to Anse Georgette, one of the most beautiful beaches from Praslin. While the public transportation is very close, its better to have a car if you want to see all the island and go to Valee du May or Anse Lazio. At arrival, our bedroom was sprinkled with flower petals and there were flowers even in the restroom. Cleaning lady took care to put us flowers on each day and the rooms were very clean and nice smelling. The apartment is fully equipped with all the "tools" you need for self catering and is very close to several supermarkets. It has also a very nice terrace and even two sweet cats. Excellent staff and very, very good value for money.

Awesome experience”
My wife and I spent amazing time in Seashell Self-Catering. Cindy the owner is wonderful and her hospitality was brilliant. She met us with coconut juice and fresh fruits) Cindy cooked for us traditional creol cousins, it was so delicious! Also Cindy helped us to book a boat trip for a good price. The apartmentso was even better then the photos! Every day after cleaning we found fresh flowers all over the house. Location is great near the bus stop and 2 beaches Anse Geogette( good for sweeming) and Anse Kerlan(good for sunsets). We really enjoyed our staying in Praslin! Great thanks Cindy!

Comfortable Villas with Fantastic Owner Service”
We had a delightful stay at the Seashell Self Catering villas. We celebrated a birthday whilst we were staying there and the owner & host Cindy went out of her way and had our villa decorated with balloons, flowers and flower petals scattered on the floor. The bed was also decorated with flowers spelling out 'Happy Birthday' and finally we were presented with a birthday present and card. We were simply stunned that such effort was made and really appreciated this kind gesture from Cindy. Also she was most helpful in arranging access to a private hotel beach which was beautiful and would not have been possible without her assistance. Thank you Cindy for your hospitality and if you are looking for self contained accommodations with all the comforts of home please consider staying at the Seashell Self Catering.

This is the best place to stay in Praslin!the manager, Cindy, is a very attentive and special person!she cooked a great creole dinner for us one night, she helped with everything and took care of every detail!I would highly reccommend this self catering for your stay in Praslin!!the apartment is quiet, big and walking distance from the most beautiful beaches of the island (15 minutes from Anse Georgette and 40 minutes from Anse Lazio - both easy, very beautiful excursions) and 2 minutes walking from the bus stop (where you can get a bus and go everywhere on the island for 5rupees/person);

The owners of Seashell Self Catering are fantastic. Cindy helped us with so much on our trip to the Seychelles. The house it fantastic with a great kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom with a hot shower. We had fresh fruit from the trees around the property everyday. Our friends stayed at the 5 star Raffles resort and were very impressed with the place when we had them over to Seashell for dinner. We highly recommend it!

We have enjoyed our stay so much in Seashell. The owners of Seashell Self Catering are great people. Cindy was really helpfull, gave us lots of advices. She also prepared the huge basket of fruit on arrival and welcome dinner and drink (local fish with rice, salad, dessert - everything tasted fantastic). The house is amazing with a great kitchen, living room, bedroom with air-con and bathroom with a hot shower. We were very impressed with the place. You will not be dissapointed when comming to Seashell. We highly recommend it!

The service in Seashell is excellent. for 57 euro, you have a spacious clean apartment. a comfortable bedroom and a well equipped kitchen. It is only 1 minutes walk to the beach and supermarket, 1 minute to the bus station, which for 5 rupee, will take you anywhere in Praslin Island. Cindy and her husband are friendly,they will pick you up for free from the airport, and provide you with useful, no frill practical information you needed. During our stay, Cindy even cooked a evening meal for us for free. Her food is even better than those served in the expensive restaurants on Cote d'Or. I fully recommand this place.

We had a really great stay at the Seashell, upon arrival lady Chantal welcomed us with fresh fruit drinks and Cindy prearranged our visit to Anse Georgette, one of the nicest beaches in Seychelles. House is perfectly clean with spacious rooms and beautiful garden up in front. It is located in nice part of the island, with supermarkets, bus station and airport in nearby. Cindy is probably the most helpful house owner I've ever met, and really great person, she helped us with everything and even cooked dinner for us. I would definitely recommended this place to anyone.

Best place to stay in Praslin”
Seashell Self-Catering was so amazing, we had a good rest in there (no dogs barking during night). Rooms was well cleaned, new furniture and the smell inside house was very nice. We was very surprised that there was a washing machine! The owner is such a nice lady, her hospitality made ours stay unforgettable. Big thanks to her! I definitely recommend to book this place

Excellent stay! The owner was wonderful, with great manners, welcomed me with food and drinks, even though I would spend only one night at her establishment. She also helped me change my Air-Seychelles ticket by contacting the airline herself on my behalf. She also arranged for a taxi to pick me up from the Jetty and drop me off at Praslin airport. Close proximity to the beach (less than 5min walking) and to the airport (less than 5min driving). The staff of Seashell(gardener, cleaning lady) were very smiley and polite.

Very Nice Place; recommended for all, esp. families!”
Excellent host. Very homely atmosphere. I would recommend Cindy's place to anyone visiting Praslin. It needs to be said that the beach is more attractive in the other side of Praslin; but again, that doesn't take anything away from what she has to offer. Also, if you have a car (recommended) to tour the place, no beach is far in this small island. Anse Kerlan beach (where Cindy's home is located) is also nice and unique. The bust stop, beach and food options are also at walkable distance from her home. Though a short stay, me and my family had a very good time at her home. We were also pleasantly surprised to have the fresh fruits, welcome drink, cold towels, breadfruit delicacies etc. offered by her. She even helped us to pluck few fresh breadfruits to carry back to our place. If at all I visit Praslin again, I don't need a different place to stay.

I celebrated my Birthday in Praslin. The owner, Cindy, was so nice, she prepared a delicious dinner for us and presented a bouquet, which was professionally decorated. I can said Cindy is the best owner and your best friend on island. Everyday cleaning the room and perfect order made our stay also comfortable. And there is a washing machine, which is a great assistant for your holiday. Apartments have good location and you easily get the best beaches. I recommend only this place to stay in Praslin.

One of the best places I've ever stayed!”
When I arrived in Praslin Cindy (the owner) upgraded me to Seashell Beach Villas. It is incredibly beautiful, right on the beach, and very spacious apartments. It is right opposite a bus stop so very convenient, and a short 10 minute bus ride away from the entrance to beautiful Anse Georgette. There was a cleaner every day who made the place immaculate and Cindy went to extra lengths to help me during my stay (providing free laundry, cooking extra food for me when she cooked for her family, taking me to a local Seychelloise festival). I had such a wonderful stay here that I booked an extra couple of nights than I had intended. A home from home, please stay here!

Home like stay”
This is our honeymoon trip and the first time in Praslin. We stayed in Seashell with unexpected treatment from the house owner. Welcome fruit juice, refreshment and very nice decoration on the bed that all are giving us very good impression. Cinda is very kind to arrange urgent pick up where as we changed an early flight without prior notice. She is very helpful to contact the travel agent for next day 3 island tours and help us to call a taxi to the jetty for our leaving. We thank so much for everything especially the breadfruit chips and a delicious fried fish at our last night stay.

we had a great time at seashell. cindy (the owner) is a nice person, always ready to help and make the guests happy. thanks to her we even tried some local meals, find the nicest beaches and spent a wonderful holidays on praslin. next time we would stay here again and we highly recommend these apts to those who prefer family run businesses and personal relationships with the facility owners to overpriced impersonal hotels.

A clean apartment in a quiet location ”
The apartment is nice, wide and clean (some ants in the kitchen but no big deal). Chantal was very kind and helped us booking for Anse Georgette. The self-catering is 1 minute away from 2 minimarkets, bus stops, a takeaway BUT is not in a large village. In the evening there are no people around. It is 3 mins away from nice Anse Kerlan and 10 mins from gorgeous Anse Georgette (famous beach, you need to book your visit). There is a washing machine, microwave... everything you need. Please note that the kitchen has no spices/salt/oil... only utensils. Would come back!

The hotel is very clean, the garden in front of the door is very beautiful, there is a supermarket nearby, the landlord is very good and very helpful to help us arrange the trip in praslin island as well as the one-day trip and snorkeling, we are very happy here. Thanks very much Cindy
