Amazing location- it’s worth the travel ”
Amazing experience- don’t expect too much from the room or the cleanliness- both are decent but nothing to brag home about. The nature around is what makes it all marvelous and fantastic- a definite must for those travlling to Palawan. There are also so nice hikes arounds with great view points

Above average”
Secret Paradise is a secluded island , where some turtles lay and hatched eggs. But not too much around. We haven't stay for long, we did do activities for the whole day and next day check out. There is nothing to do much n there. Staff are good. Wish they have some activities except kayaking. Paddle boarding would be an ideal if they only have some.

Lovely place but needs approvments ”
to see turtle was amazing , beach is very beautiful . the big downside - was bed bugs - we had over 40 bites that ruined our vacation . no compensation from the hotel .

truly secret paradise ”
we loves the place ! located on the beautiful hidden beach with amazing surroundings. very private , you feel like lost on beautiful island ! food is nice , prices are fine considering that they deliver everything there from other places . you have free snorkling , kayak , a beach only for you! stuff is amazing!!!! the only problem is a bad- bugs! we were bidden so much several nights ((( and this destroyed our impression . they changed the room but it is a huge downside. otherwise it was the best place

Not worth my money for isolated resort ”
I do not encourage other tourists to book Secret Paradise Resort through Agoda.com because: 1. Agoda charge me extra service charge and tax without previous notice or explanation , only after your booking online, there is extra charge shown on the payment. Agoda does not let the customer understand how the exchange rate. 2. Resort is isolated in a small island (paradise island), there needs extra money if you miss one free picking up service on 12:30 each day; Agoda booking agent does not remind the tourist to pay attn. to it after booking, only after booking and contacting the resort, you will find the special transportation; 3. Room and facility is NOT worth your money at all, even if I paid 2323 RMB for two nights (166 USD per night) including free breakfast, you will find only one restaurant choice on the island, which is the inside the hotel, there are only about ten rooms in the resort, quite small and no other entertainment. If you have sleeping problem, please do not conside

An absolute gem”
The Secret Paradise Resort is a gem of a place. If you are looking for the nearest thing to a remote style location, this could be it. The resort offers both the more organic option in the way of accommodation plus the more modern option if required & both have there merits. Whichever option you choose it's the setting that is the gem and one not to be missed, best snorkelling area we found in the Philippines, plus if you get to see a turtle then that's a bonus. Yes they did run out of some things in the restaurant but remember this is remote area in Palawan, so if something is off the menu it shouldn't really be a problem, or at least we didn't think so. We stayed there for 3 nights but another night wouldn't have gone amiss but if you do get the chance to stay there even for one night, do it as it is a great place to chill out & relax.

Beautiful location, minimal room and resort facilities ”
The location is amazing - a beautiful remote beach. There is absolutely nothing around it so you can enjoy the serenity of the place. This do a mean you are fairly stuck there though and the food is pretty average. The local food is better than the western food. It is fairly priced. The bedrooms are OK. They are basic huts with air con - which does work. It is fairly at one with nature - there are geckos everywhere so you so find extrement on various surfaces. It is a perfect option for really getting away from the stresses of modern day life. The beach is beautiful but there is no pool and minimal western comforts so you should b comfortable with that.

Incredibly situated on the edge of your own bay. Beautiful new housing, turtles in the water when you open the doors in the morning. Staff is great, really an astonishing experience

beautiful location but areas need improving ”
Pros: the accommodation (cabin & villas) are beautiful & clean. The beach is clean & picturesque. The water is clear & warm. The female staff are all lovely, friendly & helpful. The cocktail menu is large. The free coconut oil is great. There are many games provided to guests to play in your downtime. Cons: The menu needs work. The buffet is poor. Nearly all the vegetarian dishes are bad. The snorkels need replacing & more need to be purchased as some guests missed out from getting theirs. The male manager is great socially but in regards to what customers want, he comes across like he couldnt be bothered to facilitate simple requests. Finally I hope you don't have into do anything important whilst you stay as there is pretty much no internet

Really nice place, ”
Great place, really beautiful and peaceful. However, a place in that price category should never run out of standard things like fruit. Service did also not meet our expectations at all times (although it probably was on average in Palawan). We were not asked for feedback upon departure.

We stayed here 5 nights for our honeymoon and loved every moment of it. The place is gorgeous and so secluded. It really was an island paradise. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It was an amazing and memorable stay.

Paradise found!”
This place is amazing! The most perfect secluded location. Beautiful clear, blue, turquoise waters. The soft white sand makes a perfect location for all of the nesting turtles. This place is doing amazing things for the turtle population. We have been very lucky and in our two times visiting we have gotten to witness each step in the turtle laying, hatching and releasing process. It really is an incredible special place. If your looking for a 5 star pretentious resort this is NOT it! It is however a 5 star location with wonderful accommodations. There are newer more modern spacious rooms as well as more authentic bungalow styles which we prefer. Really friendly and helpful down to earth staff and the owner is the great guy you just might be having a drink with at the bar. His passion for the cove and future of the turtle population and wildlife there is one of the many things that makes this place so great! There is a good amount of food options on the menu and the food is great. They also have additional daily specials with fresh catches from the local fishing village. A retreat for the mind body and soul. The most amazing thing of all is how secluded the beaches are. Having the opportunity to be on the most picturesque beach where you can snorkel right in your front yard and not be surround by lots of other people is rare. The limited amount of really comfortable accommodations make this possible. It's magical and I can't wait to go back from a third time! Do your self a favour and don't consider staying less than 5 nights. It's just that good!

You have to go”
This spot is just a fabulous place to get away. If you can stay for a longer time than 2 nights that our group did, you won't be disappointed. We had a great boat ride there and back, and the only thing to be mindful is that you don't take your own food/drinks/alcohol. The dining area is just lovely and you won't need to bring your own supplies as it is available for you. They are currently constructing a few more rooms to stay in, but it won't effect your stay. I hope you have some luck seeing some hatchling turtles or some to lay eggs upon the beach.

Good for 1 or 2 nights in a remote and beautiful natural bay. Lack of wifi, poor breakfast, limited choice of food for lunch and dinner makes it not pleasant for a longer stay. Civilization is 1 hour boat away.

Good location, but extremely poor facilities and service”
Positive: - Remote location - Nice nature Negative: - "Superior room" had extremely poor quality: outdated furniture, toilet and shower equipment looked 10+ years old, unpleasant smell, no sound isolation, uncomfortable pillows, absence of hair dryer and kettle, no slippers and beach towels, non functioning safe box - Limited choice of food in the restaurant, slow cooking - Very slow and unstable internet - Loud construction works of new cottages going on nearby, its sound was totally killing relax ambiance Bottom line: Hotel is nicely located, clearly overpriced and having facilities not worth even 3 stars ranking.
