Outstanding staff and impressive facility ”
I stayed at Secrets last week for a few nights and was absolutely impressed by the high standards and quality of the staff, the services and the facilities. It happened to be in the middle of a category-4 hurricane and we had to be evacuated to a shelter (a private school) for one night. The General Manager Mr. Jean-Pierre Sorin and his staff went above and beyond to ensure all the guests were well taken care of and our safety and comfort were their priority. They prepared the process so much before, during and after the evacuation, and provided the best communication anyone can hope for under the circumstances. And all of them stayed with the guests in the shelter overnight with some of the staff staying behind in the property to ensure everything properly cared for. They didn’t tend to their own families during such a dangerous emergency, instead they stayed with us and took care of us (including providing all kinds of entertainment activities in the shelter). I was absolutely impressed and touched. As an experienced world traveler for decades, I would say their services during this special are the best I’ve ever experienced. When we returned to the hotel after the hurricane, almost everything immediately went back to normal, from the restaurants to the live entertainment and to the beach services. And the staff spent the entire day to clean the pools which were impacted adversely by the hurricane. In addition, the hotel itself is beautifully and tastefully designed throughout. Six Restaurants on the property are all great with delicious food, especially Dragon (oriental cuisine), Sea Salt (seafood) and the Italian restaurant. The wine selection was also huge and impressive. We had a delicious bottle of a 2012 Roederer Brut Rose. Anyhow, we will definitely return to the Secret in the future.

In all honesty I'm not the type to pick apart every little aspect of a vacation.. I'm just grateful. But i doubt many would be able to find fault with secrets the vine at all.. Food was good to great,, service was second to none.. and while some parts of the hotel looked like updating was needed We did visit just a few weekscafter a category 2 hurricane. In short I would definitely recommend staying there and im pretty sure I'll be back.

Excellent vacation spot”
This was my second visit. As I expected SECRETS was as good as it was. Actually I am sure that SECRETS is the best of all time. Facility and restaurants were perfect. Staffs were very kind. Also concierge service was convenient and great. I highly recommend you this spot for vacation. I would love to visit this hotel again if I have a chance. :)

One of the best hotels and friendly staffs ever . Great location with nice beach and clear blue water . For Restaurants there’s only the blue water grill that’s good for steak dinner and the sea salt for lunch . The market cafe is good for buffet breakfast and a la carte surf and turf. Made lots of friends here playing volleyball . Will come back if they change the menu it was a ten day trip eating same food all over

Had two rooms and arrived around 11:30 am and could not get an early check-in. Were directed to the restrooms to change into beach clothing and then we returned our bags to the bellman to hold until 3pm time. There was no hospitality room or area to change or shower, etc. No maps, no direction, Weren’t very helpful and we had to figure out where things were (ie:bars, restaurants, pool & beach access). Nice resort, very clean, employees wore masks & restaurant EE’s used gloves and tongs to Set tables. I had a “deluxe ocean view” room which was nice but it didn’t have much of an ocean view. The ocean view was from the balcony and it was a partial view as it was perpendicular to the ocean. I asked and they said the only rooms with full ocean views are the suites. Also, not much in “mini-bar”, has cokes, water, and Corona. No liquor or any snacks. Saturday night at 11pm everything shut down! Said it was due to COVID??

This was the second resort I have stayed at in Cancun and one of many all inclusive I have stayed at in the past, however not a personal favourite. The hotel itself is in excellent condition and always clean however for the high price paid, I found a lot of inconsistencies from other resorts. Pros- Clean and well kept resort Nice pools Great Jacuzzi (24/7) Most restaurant food was good Cons- The hotel is constantly trying to up sell you. I booked a run of the house room 11 months in advance and requested a King bed, however they only provided a twin and would only provided a king if I paid extra. Also, everyday someone was at the pool area trying to sell bottles of wine at restaurants for dinner pretending the restaurants would be fully booked. -staff were inconsistent and on occasions not enthusiastic to be there (never seen this at other resorts) -drinks were weak -had to wake up at 6am everyday to reserve seats by the pool. (Not very relaxing) -no music during theday

The waiters and other staff are very helpful. But no buffets after breakfast and the wait at the restaurants is totally ridiculous!! Hotel appears clean but the floor in the room was very dusty even though they appear to mop.

The good; very spacious rooms with stunning ocean and lagoon views Fitness center with stunning ocean view and good various equipment Wait time for dinner is reasonable The bad: food quality is hit and miss. Catering reflects significant cost cutting. Sellers are swarming the beach. There interrupt every minute. Best option is by the pool, still with great ocean views. Cramped beach area. Not the fault of the hotel. This is what you get in the hotel zone. Will I come back? May be but certainly not for the price I paid for this trip

Maybe 3 stars but not 5”
The only thing that’s 5 stars in this place is the view and the bulding. The staffs is not prepared for such a thing. The breakfast is way too busy. (If you wanna eat in your room be ready to wait 1:30). We could hear our neigbourg watching Tv until 3am... Rooms are not isolated. We stayed 3 days and feel like it was already too long. Don’t go there instead they do a 50% discount like we had because it’s not worth it!!!!!

Well worth the money ”
AMResorts doesn’t really honor their price guarantee, but that being said, I would do it all again. I wasn’t sure about using Agoda to purchase the stay, but they did a wonderful job. The staff at Secrets The Vine were all great! 6 days wasn’t long enough to try all that was offered. The included top shelf wines could be upgraded, but all else was great! Well worth the money!!!!

This place was beyond my expectations! The staff was friendly and nice. We did get a room upgrade at a discounted, and the view from our balcony was spectacular. They really treated us like a VIP all throughout our stay! Also our breakfast by the balcony was the best experience!
