Awesome hotel”
The minivan from Probolinggo drop us straight in front of this hotel. So convenient. Very near to restaurant, shops. Not far from Mount Bromo entrance. Shared bathroom and toilet (squat toilet). Got hot shower (damn hot! cannot control temperature). Room is clean and spacious. The bed is big. Although close to the main road but it's not too noisy. Very nice place. Super cheap.

Great location if you are planning to visit Mount Bromo. Staff here speaks some english making it easier to communicate. My friends and i had a great stay here.

Decent, affordable place to lay your head before bromo hike.”
Nice Homestay, not much besides warm blanket and decent bed. Good location next to bromo walking entrance. Staff was not present more than check-in, checkout was simple. Do yourself a favor and don’t sleep in a room facing the road. It is far too noisy even with earplugs to sleep trough the traffic noise.

Pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the warm shower. Conveniently located near the top of the village to start your early morning trek. Nothing special about the place, but worked just fine for my Bromo adventure.

Cosy little cottage”
Very cheap and cosy near the entrance to Bromo park. No hot water. Couldn't get TV to work. No wifi. Bathroom was a bit dirty and difficult to work out the plumbing, however these things were not a high priority for me. Owner recommended a good driver.

We knew that everything is expensive and not that great in Cemoro Lawang when it comes to hostel/hotel. We chose this one based on the reviews and the price, and it was a pleasant surprise! - Room was ok, clean, with linens and they provided comfy and hot blankets as it gets cold in the night. We also had a shower with hot water. WC was not western style though. - Location is great: close to main street and to the entry of the park, if you want to go by foot. There is also a variety of warungs within a 2 minute walk radius. - The walls were thin though, we heard the Jeeps going through the village at 3 AM.. but I guess it is the same for every hotel there. - Staff was ok, absent for the most part. Good value for money!

DO NOT STAY HERE - WE WERE ROBBED!!”
We had ALOT of money stolen from our room while we were at Bromo for sunrise, between 3.30am and 7.00am. The lock hadn’t been broken and the windows were locked so someone had a key! The couple in the room next to us were also robbed. An old review on booking.com says ‘villagers have a key to your room and enter during the night’. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE - DON’T TAKE THE RISK! We approached the owner with a local who translated and they were completely uninterested. We reported it to local police who are investigating. To the culprit - don’t be so short sighted as thinking your mistreatment of tourists in Bromo and Probolinggo can last.

Booked a 3 person room and 2 mates ended up staying with me. They tried charging 3 times the price when I arrived because there were more of us. Haggled the down from 450K to 250K, very unimpressed with the robbery. Good for what it is but the staff are unfriendly thieves.

Staff is inexistant. Only here to take the cash and show the bedroom. It's not clean and sheets don't seem be changed. If you schedule to stay 1 night to enjoy the sunrise it's ok. But otherwise stay on your way.

Little comfort stay ”
The homestay is on a busy road and rooms are very small and basic comfort. Do not expect too much on the cleanliness side. Good location though to go to Bromo

You get what you pay for ”
It’s the cheapest and closer to the national park entrance around the area. There is hot shower in morning and evening (room no. 14). Wi-Fi works well but a bit slow. The blankets are quite dirty and you can feel the dust on it that they probably never washed them. But for couple hours sleep before the sunrise trip is acceptable with this price. Didn’t expect much at the beginning anyway.

Le réceptionniste ne parle pas en anglais. Il ne donne aucun conseil. Il est juste bon en encaissé car payer ça il sait le dire en anglais. Il est d'ailleurs désagréable. Les chambres sont extrêmement mal isolées du bruit. (500 4x4 passe devant les fenêtres). Dans notre chambre même pas une prise pour charger nos téléphones.

très Bryant et très sommaire ”
Chambre très basique, salle de bain rudimentaire mais quand même de l'eau chaude. Nous avons vu personne à part le premier soir à la remise des clés. Très très bruyant à partir de 2h du matin ou les voitures motos et scooter font des aller venus incessant pour emmener les touristes au bromo.

隣の小屋が職員の詰所。いつも人がいる訳ではなさそう。部屋には備品はテーブルと椅子のみ。寒いので毛布を半分に折って二枚にしてジャンパーを被って寝た。ドライアーを持っていったのでなんとかなったがなければ寒くてシャワーを浴びることもできなさそう。。余りに寒くポットを借り詰所の台所を借りてお湯を沸かさせてもらって持参のカップでお茶した。ジープからのツアー一人50万ルピア。2人で貸し切りでした。チェックアウトが朝6時と伝えると鍵を室内に置いて行くように言われた。皆さん人柄がよくツアーも満足でした。
