Swimming pool nice, some of the staff nice, bEdrom nice just I think they should learn how to take care of theit things would make them go longer in time. swiping the floor to early, they should do that when everyone is out not at 7 am. ANYWAY nice place for value.

Overpriced with terrible service
A few nice staff who tried to help, fairly good location and close to an excellent restaurant (Bule warung)
Our stay here was difficult from the start when we rang to book and they said they were "fully booked", despite the fact it was available on Agoda. When we arrived at 2pm our room was not ready so we went to the restaurant which was swarming with flies (didn't encounter this anywhere else) and the food was so disgusting we couldn't eat it, the worst we had during a month in Indonesia! The food was so bad in fact that on the third day we skipped it. Members of staff on the front desk were extremely unhelpful during our stay and unless you are using a scooter do not stay here as their own driver overcharges you and they refuse to book you a taxi. The location is ok but Kuta beach is full of stray dogs who often fight (very sad and the worst we encouterered in Indonesia) and the hawkers are so persistent you cannot relax for 5 minutes without being approached and they will then sit by you after you have politely refused. There are a few sweet staff who try to help but the incompetence of the others unfortunately overshadows this. If we were to stay in Kuta again we would stay a little bit further into the town as the best beaches (Mawan and Selong Belanak) you have to drive to anyway.

Overpriced and treated horrible
Close to the beach
We stayed 3 nights at the Segara Anak Bungalows and did not have a very good experience. I enquired via email about an airport transfer to see the cost. I never heard anything back from the owner or staff so I figured we would just take a taxi. Upon arrival at the airport we got a coupon for a taxi and walked outside. There we saw a man from the hotel holding a sign with my name. Feeling bad that the man drove all the way to the airport to pick us up we asked him how much it would cost for him to take us. He told us multiple times that the hotel will give us the cost and he doesn't know. So we decided to go with him thinking that the price would be fair. Upon arrival at the hotel we were asked to pay double the price of a taxi for the transport! I asked why it was so much and the staffs said it was the price that the driver charges!! Opposite of what he said at the airport. I highly recommend to not take their transport. As far as the hotel itself we did not have a great time. The breakfast was so small and cold. Only one of the 15 or so staff members were ever friends towards us. Most were either trying to sell us trips or transport that their boss would not approve of. Rooms were never cleaned. Inside or out. The internet did not work in the room. Even though it says there is internet in the room on their site and here on Agoda. The location near the beach is the only plus about this place. Pay the same price and stay somewhere better.

Great for a beach visit but thats about it
Location, location, location
we thought we were getting a great deal. We were not. If we had paid anything above we would have demanded a refund. The rooms are musty and had to wear slippers in the bathroom. A/C was slow to cool but did eventually. Staff and locals were all about making a buck (I know it's a developing economy but this was more aggressive than anywhere else we stayed in Lombok or Indonesia). Rooms have a nice porch and a drying rack. A fresh coat or paint and a good cleaning would have made the room much more comfortable. The saving grace here is the location. Amazing beach right across the street and keep you wanting to come back!

Much better than expected
Location, gardens, pool
I booked my room a long time ago before there were any reviews, and wondered if I had made the right choice reading the reviews as they came in. So I was greatly relieved when I arrived to find a clean, bright, air-conditioned room situated in beautiful gardens with a small but lovely pool at the back of the property. Contrary to the info on Agoda, the bathrooms are en-suite, and mine at least had hot water (it actually had 2 separate showers, one of which was cold only). There were some half-built rooms near the pool, but no construction was going on during my stay. It's not the cheapest place in town so if you pay for a/c make sure you get it (many rooms are fan only), but the location is worth paying extra for. Only thing I'd mention is that my bed had only one sheet and a thin blanket, you may want to ask for an extra sheet. Now that agoda doesn't give points for rewards I won't be doing them often, but I thought the record should be set straight on this place.
