      Always Relaxation at Segara Village!
I find myself always relaxed when I am Segara Village. The gardens are beautiful and well-kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pools are just lovely also, even when it rains! Make sure you enjoy the beach front and the view of Mount Agung, especially when it is ‘sleeping’!!!

      Peaceful Place
We stayed during the rainy days and not in peak season, so not many guests coming. Very quite and cozy place with the mixed of modern and traditional architecture. We enjoyed almost all facilities with more private, just like we are the only guest in this big swimming pool Breakfast was nice but the choice of local delicacies not much, i guess because more foreigners than local tourist coming to this hotel. We had a good and tight sleep, with a comfort bed. We decided to enjoy our time at night at the hotel, sitting near the beach restaurant with good food. It is so serene, you can look at the stars (lucky us, no rain at night) and enjoy the sea breeze peacefully For sure, we will be back to this nice hotel

      Great beach side hotel
We arrived in the pouring Monsoon rains and were escorted by umbrella to the reception. We were quickly booked in to room 459 which was the upstairs unit of a "bungalow". Room 459 was tucked away at the back of the resort and had an huge balcony area which led into a nicely appointed room, with a spacious bathroom. The bed was large and very comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were beautifully landscaped, with little seating areas dotted around. There was a bar pool (largely unused whilst we were there), a large pool overlooking the beach and a smaller pool more suited to children. There were 2 eateries open when we were there, but as it was low season, neither place was busy and we felt a bit forlorn sitting in a large restaurant with only a few other couples. There were a couple of veggie options, but they cannot have been brilliant as I cant remember either of them. Various shops and massage places were dotted around the edge of the grounds, so you did not have to leave the resort

      2nd time at Segara
Great place, very peaceful and polite staff. Location is amazing lots of places to eat and easy to get around. Room is excellent and cleaned everyday twice on two occasions. Staff are very proud of there work, gardens are outrageous and well looked after.

Disappointing second visit, wish we had booked a hotel with better service
We were overall completely disappointed in our visit. We first visited 4 years ago and it became a place full of special memories for us but on return we found the level of service has really gone down in standards and they are either understaffed or they just do not care (summary at the bottom). After paying extra to stay in the highest level accommodation (Bungalow 2) with butler service, turn down service etc we found that the first 3 days there basically was no butler service and we didn't get any turn down service. Our first visit to the beach in the evening we asked for some sunbeds, rather than providing beds the staff just said, "can't you go an sit by the pool'. In the end we had to awkwardly stand there and by chance some people to left so we could have sunbeds After speaking with the manager about our thoughts and feelings of disappointment our butler finally appeared and asked how we were doing. We received the turn down service (which used to completely tidy and ready your bedroom for sleeping) and it was literally just turning down the corner of the duvet, leaving all the cushions and stuff everywhere and placing 2 chocolates. Nothing improved throughout the rest of our stay and no gesture or effort was made by management to make it up to us or show us how our comments had been taken on board. On the last morning the butler finally asked if I would like a drink, I asked for a cup of tea....and he told me I could get it myself from the cart...so close but so far....What is the point of paying extra for a service like that! So Frustrating! To summarise good points: Restaurant staff in the morning friendly, cleaners and ground staff friendly, grounds are perfect Bad Points: -Bunglow 2 rooms are dated now and bathrooms especially are tatty, -As good as no butler service by pool or anywhere, -Be prepared to be woken at 6am with sweeping or washing of grounds, -They say they want to be eco-friendly and save water by not changing your linens every day.

      Very relaxing
Segara village is a beautiful property, the grounds were stunning and beautifully maintained, much more chilled and laid back than the other side of Bali

      Great place
In busy Bali it was nice to find a hotel that felt secluded. Nice accommodation, brilliant swimming pool, great breakfast selection and right next door to the sea. Recommend for couples/families etc

      Best hotel in Sanur Bali
I can not praise is hotel enough for the hard work and staff politeness/ professionalism to make our honeymoon perfect. As the first hotel to set up in Sanur you can tell, excellent accommodation, pools, food that tastes excellent and no matter the question or request they will always try their best to accommodate.
