Good location
If you are looking for a place near tourist attractions, malls, restaurant, I would recommend this place. Room is clean and big, however the heater is quite small which makes the room cold. Toilet is in the room but bath is shared with hot springs.

Traditional hotel with top notch service
A very old historical Ryokan. You can expect a mix of traditional terrain with modern hotel service. Luckily the hotel provided hotel transfer (about 800m from station to hotel). The room was 10/10 traditional, tatami mat and futon, with the tea drinking area. there was only a tap and sink available, so if you are used to having your own toilet, this will prove to be very inconvenient because the hotel uses common toilet on the room floor. Overall i would rate this hotel a 7/10. I really like that i could cycle to Amanoshidate and there was a mega mart just 5mins away, not forgetting the service. The male staff did an old culture of actually rushing (shuffling his feet) to show us around the hotel. Would recommend this place to have an experience.

An absolute must visit.
Unbelievable service from the owner (13th Generation!) and an amazing room. The building is over 300 years old and the artwork that you'll see on the walls really tells a great story. Miyazu and it's surrounds are beautiful. And the locals are always up for a chat even if you Japanese is lousy. Don't forget to hit the ferry across to Amonhasidate and check out the temples, take the cable car up to the national Park and see the view. Take particular note that at some of the temples and shrines photography is banned. There is the worry that you might catch one of the spirits that are in the vicinity and you could also upset some who are there to pray. Fair enough. Now... Go and enjoy.

Good price and nice experience!
Historical building and nice onsen! Though a little bit far(3km) from the Amanohashidate but close to the bus stop, cost-effective choice

It needs a lot of maintenance
It’s the first time in a ryokan for us, so perhaps we don’t understand enough the rules. The place is beautiful but it needs maintenance: a hole in the closet, water stains in the moquette, a bad smell in the bathroom, a beatle in the wc...etc

A wonderful experience in a historical hotel
I would highly recommend traveler to stay here which is a historical over 100years hotel. It is close to a shopping mall and many restaurant. It takes around 10minutes to JR station. And you can take a ship to Amanohashidate in 10 minutes because it is also near to the ship station.

a good Ryokan experience
We have 3 different rooms. 1 couple, 2 singles. the Couple room AirCon is very old and doesn't quite work - its hot in the summer time. The Ryokan is clean but worn out, breakfast is good and close to AEON for some small shopping and about 10 min drive to the sight

very nice people
the staff over there are so nice. He drove us to the train station as we check out of the hotel. We did't know that they are gonna drive us to the train station and we didn't ask for it, they just offer it to us. The location is great, it has a supermarket next to it and a ferry and bus station within three minutes walk.
