A Piece of Paradise in Qingjing”
We stayed at Sen Love B&B (清境森之戀民宿) for 3 nights and fully enjoyed our stay there. The hosts were very attentive, the location was off the busy thoroughfare for quietness, the dining environment was relaxing, the room had good mountain views and well-equipped, and the cost was reasonable. What not to like? We'll be back!

Check in late after drive from Taichung. The staff is very friendly, offer to shift her car to give us park the lot so that my parents do not need to walk up the stairs after checking in. The room is spacious and the balcony has the view of the mountainous area. Very nice stay although night time do not have much thing to do. Will recommend a 2D1N stay.

It was rather easy to get to the B&B from Taichung - we took the Nantou bus and was picked up by the owner at the bus stop (you got to call the owner upon arrival). It's not recommended to walk in as there's quite some distance plus winding roads/slopes. I love the place for being quiet and away from the tourist spots. I could enjoy the unobstructed scenery from their balcony too. The owner then dropped us off at the tourist spot, and picked us up later when we were done. Steamboat dinner was available at the B&B at a cost - the hot meal satisfied our tummies on a chilly night. (The owner did recommend some restaurants nearby, but we went for steamboat instead.) There was a water dispenser right outside our room, so no need to buy bottled water! The room was spacious and there was a hot-spring-kind-of-bathtub in the toilet (but don't waste too much water!). There was a balcony but we didn't sit there because there were moths and other bugs. But rest assured, the room was safe from those creepy crawlies. :)

Good experience in this B&B. The owner and family were very helpful and friendly (they provide transport to some near attractions). The location of this B&B is quite challenging (where you have to travel down some very steep road to reach this B&B without the aid of any lights besides than your own car light). However, the view from this B&B in the early morning was fascinating! Got an free upgrade for our room and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall experience here was good and will stay again if I travel to CingJing again.

Enjoyed our two days stay at Sen Love B & B Especially the Lady owner... Just a phone call and she will pick you or send you to the place you want to go... its such a great service for those who do not drive.. quiet place except during our stay. a group of youngster created noise till 2am.. We had a good walk to view the sunset followed direction given by the owner.

Great view, great bathroom”
I already submitted this twice, dammit. Cingjing as a place is expensive to eat at. I think it is because food has to travel all the way up the mountain. Roads are steep and narrow (though relatively safe). Locals drive like pros. The owner(?) or staff will pick you up from where your drop off from the Nantou Bus. She also drives you to eateries and nearby attractions. She drove us to our tour cab pick-up point the next day too. The roasted chicken restaurant she recommended us to go to cost us $35 for soup filled with MSG, tea, quite a lot of rice, and a roasted chicken (which my boyfriend enjoyed). This is one of the cheapest sets already (for 2). There is also hotpot. Other restaurants include those serving Yunnan delicacies, amongst others. She provides a "food map". The staff at the restaurant offers a one-time drive back to the B&B or any chosen attraction. So, I feel there might be some arrangement/collaboration here which might also explain the priciness of the food? Since roads are steep and the environment is cold, plus it is difficult to get around due to the randomness of shops located in the mountain, you don't really have much choice for food other than those recommended. Thus, you might want to bring your own food. Bugs are also commonplace in Cingjing. There are mosquito nets installed on windows and a fly swatter is provided. However, we still found 2 bugs (which we killed) that crawled through a hole between the walls and the ceiling. The bathroom is wonderfully clean, and there is even a Japanese-style electronic toilet (which my boyfriend adores but not me). The bed is relatively comfortable but the room was a little cluttered with furniture (though it wasn't considered small). The ceiling sloped down like you were in an attic. The room was a little old. The view is great. Anyway, staff is friendly. Breakfast provided was simple but delicious, with nice bread and simple nostalgic porridge. Thank you for the stay!

Great view & accommodation albeit location”
Sen love bnb was an awesome stay on cingjing farm, we took a public bus up to the mountains and dropped off at the farm's entrance. We called the bnb and the owner was very kind enough to ferry us to Senlove for check in and also out to the few attractions around the area. She even helped us to ferry our luggage frm the hotel as she knew we were setting off to Taichung on the last day. We paid a small fee to upgrade the room, but it was all well worth it! Wholesome Breakfast was prepared for us as well the next day.

Did our own itinerary to visit cingjing and he huan shan for star gazing and this hotel is located in between the 2 places. Recommend that u pay the 400NTD/ pax tour up he huan shan for stargazing and sunrise as it is very difficult to drive up. the tour provided by hotel is excellent though have to wake up @ 3 am, its worth it. Very good view @ night. Clean Bathrooms too. Staff are very friendly so if you dont plan to drive up, can give them a call and they will pick u up from cingjing farm which is 5 mins drive away from hotel. they also provide service to drive you out for dinner and the restaurant they recommend is excellent.

A Cosy Homestay”
It was a very warm stay as the owner (Ms Hong) is very friendly and would drive us to the places we wanted to go. The steamboat dinner in the cold weather was also enjoyable. One downside is the location as it is located off the main road but you could contact the B&B for travel arrangements and the price is very reasonable.

Great Stay”
We are a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 & 9). My kids love the place of stay as I booked the quad loft room with balcony. The heater works well in the cold night at Cingjing. Bathroom is huge and clean. We opted for dinner at their restaurant and was very yummy. The friendly staff can send us to the attarctions at Cingjing. Nice stay!

Its a really wonderful experience.Room is really big,clean and comfortable and a big tub in a big bathroom.Ms Hong the person in charge even provide service to drive us to nearby grassland and little swiss and to have dinner as its not so accessible in Cingjing, really appreciated that she even offered to drive us to old england minsu to take photos and waited paitiently for us to finish,thumbs up for tat,we really enjoy our stay there and really regretted tat we didnt stay for another night cos its a really wonderful and relaxing place.lastly,we even managed to catch the sunrise directly in front of our balcony, the view is simply breathtaking.

The room is big and comfortable and it comes with your own balcony. There is also a big "onsen" like bath which is nice for a hot bath after a long day of walk. As the B&B is located near top of the mountain, the view is beautiful.

Friendly hosts that make you feel like home”
Host were very helpful by fetching our luggage from the bus stop when we arrive and sending us to the bus stop too when we are leaving. Love the big room and the facilities there! Breakfast is simple but heartwarming. Able to watch sunrise from our balcony too! Awesome place to stay over one night at Cingjing!

the lady (红小姐）was very helpful & hospitable. she drove us to & fro the different cingjing locations. she also helped to suggest dinner spots and what to do. although there is no fridge in the room, she allows us to put our stuffs in their kitchen fridge. my SenLove room is clean and the bathroom has a big sunken spa pool. from their dining balcony, one can see very beautiful stars at night. a recommended place to stay in cingjing.

Pleasant stay”
Pros: Miss Hong was very courteous from the time we checked in til the end of our trip. It was easy to make small talk as she shuttled us between the minsu and Cingjing attractions - She'd drive us out and we just have to give her a call and she'd come and pick us where we are (of course within Cingjing). She even offered to let us know if the stars came out when she knew that we wanted to do some star gazing. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We could see the mountains, night sky and stars from the balcony (albeit limited view unless right overhead), living room window and bathroom window (no worries, there's a privacy blind in the shower). Shower was hot and comfortable. Even though there are limited hours for hot water, there's more than sufficient time to take hot showers throughout the day (just not in the wee hours). There's a water dispenser (warm and hot water) at our room level and the dining area too - convenient to fill our bottles and to cook our cup noodles. No need to lug bottled water back :D Cons: The breakfast was healthy, though it could do with a bit more variety like some fruits. There were a lot of houseflies and a couple of moths around, though its probably common to Cingjing as we encountered them everywhere. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Very nice host ”
Very nice host who fetched us around everywhere we go in cingjing as the location of the minsu is not very accessible. Hotel serves dinner which resolves the problem of having to eat out due to the limited choices in the city. Facilities are clean and will definitely value add more to the guests if they could upgrade from time to time. :) The view is awesome when you wake up especially at such height. Def will consider staying here again!
