Where to stay in Senaru
Senaru hotels & accommodations

A very nicely cared for little oasis on the slopes of Gunung Rinjani with great views, food, people and accommodation. Make sure you know beforehand exactly where you are going, otherwise Google Maps will direct you along some roads that are virtually impossible to drive with a normal car / taxi (eg from Bangsal or Teluk Nara) - get onto Jalan Tutul. We stayed at Anak for 2 nights. It's brilliant value for money-the room was a good size, nice bathroom and a decent breakfast (omelette or banana pancake) included in the price. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are wanting to stay in Senaru on a budget!

Nice hosts and delightful breakfast, do order your food in advance because they usually take some time to prepare the food as it is cooked upon ordering, had the egg, cheese sandwich in the morning and absolutely loved it. Very friendly couple with their kid and note that there is a dog on property but he won't bite, the owners will chase him away if you do not like it...

The Lighthouse is a lovely place. the staff are highly attentive and helpful. the family bungalow we stay in was charmimg and we extended our stay for a couple of extra days. This is by no means a corporate hotel experience. the place is unique and worth sticking around for a few days to enjoy a change of rhythm. we also recommend the Women's Trekking Adventure company...

Hotel was OK (superior room), great view, but the Rinjani trek was awful. The owner is extremely untrustworthy. We were sold a tour to the rim even though the mountain was closed due to eruption. We only found out after walking half a day when the park rangers ordered us to go back down. The owner still insisted we could go up (so he would avoid refunding the money). W...

A friend and I spent two nights here, we wanted to see the waterfalls of mount Ranjani. The location was super close to the starting point of the trail leading to the water falls. This place was great - great view of the mountain, and friendly staff and don't miss the special Lombok spices at the next door / attached restaurant.
