Cosy hotel with nice garden ”
We rented a car near the airport and drove to this hotel. Took about 1hr 30m. By car, it is about 10-15 mins drive to the town/ market area. The hotel is facing the sea, and has a nice garden too. It has an indoor heated pool during winter. The room is a little small but feels cosy. You have to bring your own toothbrushes.

Reasonable price, clean location, polite staff, and great ammenities. The gym is a bit smaller than I'd like, but otherwise I have no complaints. Every time we stay here we know exactly what to expect, and are not disappointed.

What we like about the hotel is the scenery and the ease of getting to other sights in Seogwipo. Limousine Bus 600 stops at the hotel and getting from and to the airport is easy.

There's a bus(Jeju 600) that connects directly from the airport to the hotel. Lawns, palm trees, the sea, and an island floating on it... It was fantastic view.

check-in was strict”
service was professional overall. they were overly strict about the check-in time, however. I arrived less than 1 hour before check-in and they insisted I wait until the designated time, even though it's not like they are short of rooms during covid. location is pretty good, near the ocean yet a 15-min car or bus ride away from the city.

A good option in Seogwipo”
Hotels in Jungmun tourist complex can be costly and the KAL hotel in Seogwipo can be an alternative option. The hotel is old but the room it self was not too bad expect for being on the smaller side.

Good view but Not Value for money”
The best thing in this hotel is the ocean view. The hotel is clean. However, the room size is very small. With the money I paid, not Value for money at all. Compare to 5 star hotels in high one or other places, with lots of services, decent room size, and accessible facilities, this one is not. It's more like a old style hotel in Seoul, small size and old. Also no luggage service. The bakery house in the hotel is also closed. There is only one restaurant open in this hotel, and the price of the food is like 2 times of a good restaurant in other places. So we didn't eat here. If you come with a car, location wise is okay. Not far away from all other great restaurants nearby. If not, the location would be difficult to access to the restaurants.

Not a happy time at this place because many services were not offerred”
Good things , staff breakfast sauna Bad things, no pool side bar, no casino, no karaoke, no restaurants, only breakfast buffet for a price; no 24 hour room service, no coffee shop, no bbq facilities, rooms are small. No place to get a drink and no bar. All of these are on the Agoda Kal Hotel listing but they do not have these. No massage there as well. It's a lot of money to pay just to sleep overnight. It will probably close down like the Kal Hotel in Jeju has closed. 10 years ago, this hotel was a really nice place, but now it's a ghost town inside. The only really good thing is that the staff are friendly and the breakfast buffet is good. THAT IS ALL. I will report this.

Older Place”
I booked this hotel purely for the pool, but when we got there the music was very loud and the pool was a lot smaller than the pictures let on. It is overall an older building with expensive drinks and nothing special. The AC did not get very cool. They did give free bottles of water everyday and it was nice to be right at the trails for the waterfall, but other than that I wished we would’ve found a place right in town. For the price, I do not think it’s worth it.

poor amenities within and around hotel”
Booked a typical room in a rush via Agoda. I guess you get what you pay for. Even a group of rowdy high school students across and down the hallways were given better rooms with ocean views. If you can get an ocean view room, the price may be worth it but there is very little in-house amenities and the only restaurant at the lobby was very pricy while the quality average.

Not 5 star hotel ”
Hotel is not fully operational. Only the lounge is open for lunch or dinner. Breakfast buffet only which was very crowded. This is not a true resort where you can stay and not have to leave. There are no restaurants nearby.
