Excellent value! ”
We stayed here 2 nights out of 6 nights in Chiang mai and wish we found it sooner! The rooms were spacious, very clean and very nice, especially for what you pay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.. They watched our bags for the day even after we checked-out, with no problem! The breakfast wasn't great but we don't eat a lot in the morning anyway. Would definitely stay again!
Let down by breakfast”
Breakfast consists of egg ( OK ) one slice of something that resembled ham ,a cylindrical object that was described as sausage and toast ( or warm Bread ).The alternative is rice in coconut milk. Very disappointing as food in the local stalls is far superior.
The hotel was moldy. I got sick when I was there. If you have asthma, turn this hotel from afar. The restroom was a wicked moisture damage. And there were a lot of bugs. Apparently, the fungus-related bugs. Sheets had holes. This was the second finest hotel in which I've ever been. The staff was friendly, but they did not understand English well enough. I tried to explain mold, but they just nodded and said, yes, yes. You can get much better hotel everywhere.
near to Saturday night market”
The breakfast menu only 2 choices, american breakfast or poridge, it feel bored if you stay 3 night above. Hot water available only at lobby during morning, you may get kettle from front desk. 10 min to airport, THB50 per pax but with Song Thew. Abit noisy If you stay room face to street. Overall nice if short stay.
Hospitalité , good service with humanity welcome”
The best hotel I have ever chose. It is not only just 2-star hotel. It really more than it. It will build the family atmosphere for you guys to experience. More importantly, service is the best I have never seen before. The best choice you can't miss it!
Great hotel for Saturday walking market”
Stay was great, only downside is the other noisy guests, we were on the first floor so we could hear everything coming from the bottom floor where the foyer and dining area is, it maybe quieter on the higher levels, otherwise the place is quite nice, large rooms with large bathrooms, we had an extra bed in our room and there was still plenty of room to move, staff were exceptionally nice and faced any request with a friendly smile, nothing was a problem, great spot for the Saturday walking market as it is in the street where it is held.
Love the room”
nice guesthouse and value for money.. i always return to stay when you are back to Chiangmai
Hotel owner very nice”
Very enjoyable. However, there are only large size slippers provided by staff to walk to the room. Hence it is very dangerous for me to walk up the stairs as I trip over the stairs very easily
great, good location, friendly staffs and good value
It is close to Saturdaymarket, but not noise The Room is so clean Happy to stay there
It was really impressive when i came to this hotel the design was really elegant, very clean, it was a best stay for my holiday...
VERY VERY HAPPY”
the staff where top very professional and friendly very helpful,we had a wonderful stay , the hotel is wonderfully furnished ,good size rooms with good size bathrooms, we look forward to returning .
Friendly staff, but glad we only had 1 night”
Staff are very friendly, however the bed was uncomfortably hard and didn't make for a good night's sleep, which wasn't helped by the very noisy location. The shower isn't isolated from the rest of the bathroom, so expect a wet floor. There was also no hot water. Would recommend for a cost effective short period, but not any longer.
Over-priced hotel in ok location”
I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and in an ok location, but a bit old-fashioned decor and a long walk from the night bazaar. Plenty of tuk tuks around for transport though and there is a street market outsidevevery Saturday night. Reception staff were friendly. The breakfast was awful - rice soup or egg, toast and ham every day. My bed was very hard and no soaps, shampoos, etc were provided. I have stayed before recently in Chiang Mai at a much better hotel for a much lower price
Good value for money”
We liked everything about our room apart from the street noise. Our room faced onto the rd and the traffic is constant. The beds are extremely hard which is typical for Thailand, pillows and doona was fantastic. If I stayed again I would only go there if I could get a room at the back of the building.
GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY”
We stayed one night at September Inn. The location is good because it is closed to the night Saturday market and from the old city. You will find full of facilities around the hotel. The staff is really helpful and nice. The breakfast is a 2stars hotel breakfast like toast, butter, jam and eggs and that's it. As we read, rooms facing the street were noisy, we asked for another room. In the morning we add the surprise to hear tones of pigeons just flying and walking above the ceiling. We highlighted this point to the Manager and he replied he knows this room was noisy. We just regret he did not tell us before and do something to solve the issue for future booking.
Best sleep Ive had yet! ”
Didn't know what to expect before arriving as it was rated a 2 star and the outside didnt look like a hotel. However we just needed a comfortable, clean place to rest for one night as we were up early the next day. I would say this place is a 3 star at least. It was clean, quiet, and covered your basic needs. To be honest, it was the best sleep I've had all trip. Overall, we were very pleased with this place and nothing bad to say...and for $29 a night, you cant go wrong. I would stay here again and recommend this.
You can find sth better for that price”
The location is ok near the old town but I would choose area of night market next time. Rooms are very simple, no windows. The major problem is staff. We had a real problem to explain what we want and the worst experience was our departure when we supposed to have taxi arranged and take- away breaking. We woke up the guy to go for a taxi and no breakfast although agreed previously it can be done.
