Relaxed in the nature”
We had a really good time relaxing and enjoying the quiet atmosphere. We could also go bike around the town and eat. the owner and the workers were extremely friendly and helpful to us. And that would convince us to come again despite its little remote location.
This is a nice clean small hotel well located near the River in Samut Songkhram, it's far enough away from the main town to be quiet but an easy drive or cycle, on the free bicycles, to the markets etc. Rooms are clean and the outdoor bathroom is nice. If you want peace and quiet then this is a good place for it. Breakfast is sparse but at this price I'm not surprised
Very peacefule homestay near Amphawa market”
we stayed at serene home for the week end. this is very close from amphawa market and , the owner spreaks very good english. he took us on a bycicle tour in the area to see the smaller and less crowded markets and to a beautiful catholic church. the hotel is very peaceful by a small river, in the middle of a huge garden. perfect place for a week end away from bangkok.
Lovely Place and Landlord”
The guest house is located 10 minutes by car from Ampawha floating market. We were without car but the landlord was very kind and drive us or organised a tuk tuk for us (100 THB to Ampawha). The environment of the hotel is very nice/in the middle of the nature with banana trees, coconut trees etc. They also have bikes if you want to go around. The bathroom is outside: unusual and very nice. The landlord makes the place: he drives us to the right places to visit, he offered coconuts from his garden, etc. We will definitely go back there.
Perfect place to unwind. The BEST choice!”
I'd like to preface this review by saying that I've stayed in many, many nicer hotels and B&B's in my life for both pleasure and work. That said, my experience at Serenehome was the best I've ever had. Seriously! I can't begin to describe how beautiful the property was! We arrived at the hotel to be greeted warmly with fresh tea and a quick tour by the owner (Alex). Alex (who speaks great English) told us all about the property, its features and amenities, then showed us to our rooms right away. The rooms here are unconventional...They're actually A-Frame bungalows. Adorable with perfect AC! The attached bathrooms have an exposed ceiling to the outdoor with an absolutely gorgeous stone shower. Immaculate and in perfect condition. Alex also provides complimentary bicycles to ride and even provides a map, which we used to visit a nearby temple. The property is surrounded by irrigation canals. The one in front of the rooms has a small canoe in it that we were able to borrow to paddle around the property. Cute, and perfect scenery! Breakfast was fresh local fruit, rice porridge with local mushrooms, coffee, and a home made coconut dessert. DELICIOUS! Over breakfast, Alex offered great conversation and told us even more about his property. Now here is where the owner (Alex) went above and beyond: -He took us to lunch at a fabulous restaurant on the river, drove us to several temples and points of interest, arranged for a boat trip to Amphawa, and showed us many of the "locals" spots. We did NOT expect this but were very grateful. -We arranged to hire him to drive us back to Bangkok, and when we departed at the airport I'm pretty sure a tear was shed. Although we only briefly met him, he quickly became a part of our family. I can't recommend this place enough, it is truly THE place to go if you want to see such beauty and be treated ridiculously well.
Tidy little resort with five bungalows”
I reserved two rooms as I was staying with Thai friends. Each room had a large bed with a mattress hard as a rock and a small bed with a much softer mattress. The owner was very informative as to the local attractions and even gave us a tour of some local sites after we had checked out. The place was fairly difficult to find and the owner met us in town and we followed him to the resort. It was a little pricey for the accomodations but the owner more than made up for it with his friendliness and helpfulness. His English was quite good! Wi-fi did not function in the rooms but did work just outside the front door of the bungalow.
Difficult to find without a car”
We enjoyed our night at Serenehome once we found it. It was a challenge to get there as it is outside of town and we arrived on a bus. Tuk-tuk's were hard to find and no one was familiar with this place to stay. We finally found a driver who called the hotel for directions and was willing to take us. He gave us his number and we called him every time we wanted to go to or from serenehome, without him it would have been impossible. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable, just challenging to get to.
Good and quiet place to stay”
Recommend this accom. for quests who are finding a private cottage around of fruits garden.

great place to stay. it was not easy to find this place, but with a smartphone's help, it wasn't too hard.

romantic, quiet place”
comfortable and quiet place”
The room light was too dim so it was a bit to dark in the room. Not enough plug inlet to charge anything. Other than that the place was pretty decent. But I would say it's a bit pricy.
Friendly staff, 14km. From floating market”
Higly Overprised in the middle of nowewere little hut. Staff did not speak english
Lovely place and good service”
It is small Resort but very kind service like staying at Home's stay. But the location is a bit difficult to find out, small road.
Service with smiles”
good services with smiles. Nice clean rooms with decorations giving peaceful environments. A place for relaxation.
Very charming place”
Tres joli endroit, patron tres sympathique, très romantique, en retrait des attractions touristiques. prévoir un petit budget ( 8€/ jour) pour pouvoir se rendre au marché flottant le soir.
