It is what you expected from a budget hotel. Got cockroaches in the room. Bathroom got no slippers, no lock, and broken water heater. But good enough for a 1 night stay. Though don't expect much.

Suitable for budget traveller. Fresh bedsheets/ towels. Walking distance to eateries such as mamaks or fast food, near Mydin and bus station. But, the hotel name WAS NOT Seri Rawang, but STAR hotel. Photos provided are not actual. The map/ direction got you to nowhere. I spent 1 hour to locate the hotel, back and forth to almost 4 similar looking hotels because the phone number is not in service. I gave messages through Agoda, but no reply. The hotel was located on the 1st floor of Silverstone shop/ BP Lab and opposite Rawang’s police station. I was welcomed by an unfriendly front-desk staff, who insisted me to pay cash on top of my “paid” status via Agoda. We had a good brawl. He even lamented that Agoda is untrusted website, later admitted that he was a replacement staff. Here, you can hear voices from others’ room, rats running above the ceilings and drilling sound from the tyre shop. For muslim patrons, the Kiblah signage was incorrect. Check before you pray.

First of all it’s a con. There is no hotel named seri rawang... Room sucks”
There is no hotel by the name.. waze and got to another hotel it was a totally diff hotel.. but the staff told me it’s the same and I checked my name n phone number is correct at the counter!!pic of the recept counter in agora was diff too ... I went there and got a shock of my life .. the place is far worse than sleeping on roadside. The staff is polite but I went in to the first room the smell sucks... she gave me a second room .. smelly too. The room is so creepy and so not acceptable.. I just left the keys over the counter and walk off without staying in that building for more than 5 minutes...

There is no such hotel called Sri Rawang Hotel”
We looked around the area for more than an hour but could not find this hotel. Even the people staying and working around the vicinity said they have never heard of this place. We finally gave up and checked into another hotel for the night. It was an awful experience. Agoda should have done a check on the place before listing them.

poor. extremely horrified by the poor hygiene. lizards, ants crawling on wall, crocroaches crawling in bathroom and behind bed, smelly. staff couldnt care less, no staff in counter. bad safety... ppl walking in n out as they like. smoking is not controlled. if can, please get a better room. i rather pay more than suffering the whole night having nightmares. only good thing is : aircon is working, hot water is available
