The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Phrom Pong BTS whereby this area is also filled with Japanese tourists. Lots of Japanese restaurants and massage shops, the Dinosaur Planet is just across the road. The flooring in the room needs to be fixed because some of the wood planks are loose and the screwdriver is popping out. I stayed on 4th floor which is the highest, there is no lift so I have to climb up the stairs with my luggage. It was very tiring and I was sweating and out of breadth when I had to carry my 25kg luggage all the way to 1st floor. The staffs were very friendly and nice, breakfast was very good. Overall the stay was good, only problem is the inconvenience of getting down to 1st storey with the heavy luggage.
Very nice and quiet hotel in a good location”
I found this place by luck and will return. It is down a side alley and with no loud places nearby. It is a small place with just a few rooms and you will need to carry luggage up stairs. All in all, a very nice place, with nice staff, and very clean.
Like staying at someone's house”
In a few words the (what appears to be) owners are really nice people and really want the best for you, this said staying at Seven Hotel is like going home and having helicopter parents asking you how you are, what you're doing and where you're going all the time; so don't expect the anonymity of chain hotels, and expect the comfort of home. The hotel and the rooms are clean and feel clean, the room decor might be a bit dark (not a lot of light for my taste) and worn down / in need of an update, but didn't bother me. My only issue with the place is that the rooms aren't really soundproofed, from the 3rd floor you can hear the staff washing dishes in the kitchen and people waking up and down the stairs, which can be annoying if you're trying to sleep in. beyond that it's really the best hotel i've been to in Bangkok !
Good location with decent rooms ”
good...the rooms were big and staff very helpful. rooms lacked amenities like kettle but could always drop by the lobby for hot water. location also central for shopping and traveling to airport. directional signage to the small road that this hotel was on, was a little bit difficult to find, but otherwise, it was ok.
Small but cozy abode ”
We travel as a family of 6 with one children, upon our arrival we are slightly disappointed by the policy of no more than 2 person in a room that we ended up getting an extra room for 2 of our little sisters instead of having us paying a 1000 baht charge per person in a room. But good thing is they upgrade our S room to an M room, we totally enjoy our stay in seven as they provide "a home away from home" service, the staff was very helpful and attentive, the amenities in the room was superb. All of us love the nice smelling fluffy towel and the best linen i've ever experience in any hotel i've ever stayed. We are also really pleased with our room themes, which is pink, green and yellow. The croissant on the breakfast table was also the highlight of the stay. We really recommend this place if you're hating big and crowded hotel where you are usually not well taken care of as they sees their customer just a "number" like nunut says (one of the staff from french in seven hotel)
Not the best option in my opinion.”
My room was on the 4th floor so I had to climb 4 flights of stairs to my room. Once I got up there my keys wouldn’t work. Staff gave me another key. I then got into my room and was unable to access the wifi. Also there was less than one full roll of toilet paper. The breakfast was good, however overall I’ve stayed in better hotels for less money in Bangkok.
Not suitable for business traveller”
Many of the positive reviews seem to come from first-time visitors to Thailand, who might not have experienced other properties that can offer a much better stay for the same price. My room was large but the layout didn't make sense. The closet for putting clothes is INSIDE the bathroom, near the toilet bowl (?!?!) And the TV was a very old and small CRT, which meant I can't connect my laptop to it. Rough wooden floor may be rustic but a nail torn my socks. The cloth slippers that they provided looked like it has been used by hundreds (literally). I personally won't stay here again if I need to be productive.
Low value for money”
For three days I had no hot or eve. Warm water, no functioning safe and very erratic aircon. Staff are nice but clueless and despite daily promises all would be fixed, nothing really was. Classic poor management. Much better value literally across the street and within 100 meters.
it has downgraded over the last 2 years”
I remember when we first stayed there back in 2015. the hotel was PERFECT! It was clean and quiet. This time, upon our 2nd time staying there, the room assigned to us was not as clean and the table was full of little bugs. towels were not sparkling white and hair were found in the toilet and the floor was dusty. Though, the staffs are still very nice, friendly and helpful!
Fantastic! This is a hotel not everyone will appreciate, but the seasoned traveler will. From the French press coffee at breakfast to the quality of the bedding, the attention to detail is apparent at this small, 6 room wonder tucked in a quiet soi in the middle of central Bangkok. If you understand the difference, you will be glad you stayed here.
It was a little bit hard to find the hotel but we managed it. The hotel is stylish and the room is very comfortable. BIG bed!! Staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back in the future!
So lovely hotel it is!!”
It was my pleasure to have chosen this hotel for my vacation. I chose this hotel from the lists one of my Thai friend made. I did choose correctely, this time. In spite of my heavy luggage and some urgent requests, all the staffs in this hotel dealed with me with full-hospitality, smile, good comunication of English and lovely desined and well-cleaned room during my short visit. If I had time, I would book and choose here definitely again. I would like to thank all of you and one who served me fancy breakfast every morning at 6.00am.
very comfortable stay”
I would say it was a very comfortable stay. The Staff were really attentive with our needs and very friendly too. The place is centrally located. Nice place :D In would definitely come back and recommend this place. Close to a MRT station 3-5mins walk. Alot of nice restaurants around.
Great hotel with super friendly staff”
I'm most impressed upon the friendly hotel staff and the warm welcome we have received throughout our stay. The hotel is near to the local BTS (train stations) and only 2-3 stops away from Siam and Chit Lom area. Near the hotel, there are many food places as well as convenience stores for tourists as well as locals. We really like the hotel and will definitely go back again.
Good hotel with a strategic location ”
The location is perfect on a small alley on Soi 31. About 5-10 minutes walk from BTS Phrom Phong station. The alley is right after an Italian restaurant Bella Napoli--a bit difficult to find if you do not know exactly where it is. In the same alley there are few other smaller hotels. Seven is at the cul de sac. Staff is amazing Khun An makes sure your stay is enjoyable and hassle free. The price I paid was a bit at the higher end as it was among few hotels available during the Chinese New Year. But if you get normal price than it would be really a good deal. But for the price I paid, I would expect more amenities and facilities.
Lovely friendly staff”
We enjoyed our stay at Seven, the staff were all lovely and very helpful. The location was easy to access and we found getting around by the sky train very easy to do. Our room was not overly private (with curtained windows looking out over the reception/ breakfast area), but otherwise the room was very comfortable.
Lovely hotel with great services and good attitude”
regards to their attitude and services which actually more than my expectation. nowadays in thailand, i can say their attitude like positive and proactive attitude is far more than some called "5 star" hotel in thailand. the way we talke and communicate which make me feel like friends and home. love this hotel and their lovely stuff. sure will come back again!!!
Perfect alternative to big chain hotel”
i have stayed in many hotels in around bangkok. this has been the best . it is a small, private and friendly. immaculately clean with lovely staff. at the same time has all the advantages of the large lotels in the sukhumvit area. location close to main train btr , and shopping.
Hip Hotel with very down-to-earth staff.”
What a wonderful place to stay. If you're looking for a new alternative to the traditional "chain hotel" brands that flood every city in the world and bring with it a predictable experience, then look no further than Seven Hotel. The hotel houses 7 uniquely designed rooms with great attention to detail. The "L" rooms are by far the best and are equipped with all the necessaries to make your stay a comfortable one. The staff are super friendly and always willing to have a chat as if they're your friend, not like most other hotels. Furthermore, the breakfast is fresh and really tasty. A combination of fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissant, toast, juices it's all there. The location is great too, close to trendy areas like Thong Lo/Ekamai and Soi 24. The hotel is also a short walk to the BTS Skytrain so it makes it easy to get around. The hotel also offers a travel magazine called Bangkok 101, which gives travellers a very unique guide about what to do whilst in BKK. I am honoured to stay here and I'll be back one day for sure.
it took the taxi driver awhile to find the hotel, tucked down at the end of a short dead end soi and no sign at the entrance. the room was small but the features were excellent. the bed was big and very comfortable. the bathroom was also compact but the shower big and had those big sunflower heads. the owner was present, friendly and engaging. breakfast was excellent, healthy and not too much. we stayed just 2 nights during the floods in october and there didn't seem to be any other guests. i would definitely recommend it.
