Exceptional”
Great value for money! Nothing fancy but a very clean and cosy hotel. The staff at the front desk were super helpful with all our needs e.g directions, restaurant / taxi bookings etc. There’s no lift but they helped us with our luggage upstairs. Location is also excellent, right in the middle of Echoland with a shuttle bus stop 2 min walk away. There are also many restaurants in the area within walking distance (though they tend to be very small so reservations are recommended). There are several ski rental shops nearby too. Some reviews mention the bed is uncomfortable but I thought it was fine! Toilet is quite small though. Overall a very pleasant stay in Hakuba!!

Pros: great location just a 2 minute walk to Hakuba Base Camp; accommodating staff who are always ready to help Cons: room was a bit dark; sink basin was too small so our feet would get splashed with water every time we washed our hands; lack of variety of breakfast food

Good because it has parking, sizeable room, budget friendly. However the pleasant experience was ruined in the morning of checkout of 10am. When the boss lady comes rudely and violently knocking on your door to evict you.

Worst hotel ever - not again!”
I can tell in absolute words that this is one of the worst hotel I have ever stayed - to describe it as a hotel is not itself reflecting the truth as the staff there did not provide whatsoever hotel services as anyone would have normally expected. We stayed in this place for 5 nights in total. The staff refused to clean up the room for us despite repeated request and told us the hotel has suspended all sorts of housekeeping services including changing the bedsheets, cleaning the room and clearing the trash bins due to covid. The room is super dim which you can barely see things clearly. The mat on the floor is dirty with lots of disgusting stains on it. The toilet bowl is not the Japanese modern one but a super old-style one. The pillow and bed are super uncomfortable which I got a neck-ache after the stay. Please do not book this hotel unless you wish to experience the same as I did. Definitely a BIG NO to anyone.

New yoga studio, new rooms and the staff were wonderful and professional. Located in an area with a lot of bars and diners so it's super easy for tourists. Shuttle bus right in front of the hotels so it's easy access to the slopes. Rental shop right next to the hotel. Super super easy if it's your first trip to Japan, or hakuba

Great location in Echoland”
Fantastic hotel. Close to food, shops and Hakuba base camp bus stop. 7/11 and big supermarket about 20min stroll, smaller supermarket in Echoland a 2min walk. Beds are comfortable and a good sized room. Super friendly staff, will definitely be booking here again when we return.

Cosy Accommodation in convenient location ”
Location : Located in the heart of Echoland, just 1 minute walk to the Hakuba Base Camp where you can take the free bus shuttle to the various ski slopes. Nearby facilities: Yamakazi convenient store to stock up on food and good sandwiches/ eclairs etc. Kyoto Restaurant very good. Staff: kudos to Drake and Miki for being ever helpful. They will make reservations for you for dinner, purchase tickets to the nearby onsen at the bus terminal. Amenities: free coffee / tea/ hot soup throughout the day. Dry room to store your skis and equipment, laundry, microwave facilities in basement. Rooms: big and spacious, although baths are a bit small, the usual compact jap style. Breakfast : nothing much to shout about at Cheaper to buy sandwiches at yamakazi in the morning.

Great location. simple buffet breakfast available, though there is wifi available but quite weak in room, have to go to lobby for better connection Hotel used to have complimentary onsen but it was discontinued... disappointed. Front desk staff is helpful, room is clean, amenities included. Bed is cosy, room is warm enough for winter.

We booked this hotel to enjoy some of the Japan's country side during Green Season. This hotel was perfectly located. We were steps away from delicious restaurants and the activity shop for bike rentals and such. The hotel staff was incredible. They went out of their way to drive us 20 minutes away so we could enjoy one of the nearby lakes. They also drove us to the train station for no extra charge. It was great, there was always an english staff behind the desk. We will definitely stay again. Excellent!

Upon arriving the front desk staff was so helpful and informative. They have us maps and walked us to our room. In the lobby they have a space for yoga classes, coffee and tea, and right outside the globe bar for food and drinks. Not a far walking distance to lots of good food and transportation to the slopes. The rooms were very comfy and clean. You have the option to set thermostat on 0, low, medium, or high. We kept it on 0 as low made it a bit too warm for us. We would open the windows on some nights if we got too hot. Only issue was the shower. It would be a comfortable temperature and then spray lava hot water on you while showering.

Well located, in Echoland, friendly staff and comfortable. A bit disappointing that the near-by onsen, to which the hotel used to provide free vouchers has closed down. The hotel now offer discounts at more distant onsens.

Very helpful and friendly staff”
Made the right choice of staying in this accommodation. All the staffs are helpful and friendly! They made extra efforts to pick me up when there was no public transfers available. Really thankful, otherwise I will be stranded or take hours to get back to the accommodation. Had a great time visiting the ski resorts and nearby restaurants.

Great location in echo land just across the road from free shuttle bus to the slopes and walking distance to all restaurants. Staff were great especially Drake. We stayed in the annex which is fine but out dated and needs a bit of an uplift so that was the only disappointing aspect.

Hostel not hotel”
We had booked to stay here for 5 nights however after the second night we decided to find alternative accomodation. The bed was not comfortable and the other guests treated the place like a hostel not a hotel, people running up and down, yelling and slamming doors all night. Not ideal when trying to get a good nights rest ready for another day in the snow.
