    “Great ”

    Very nice and quiet. The only issue was the no-seeams. No onsite restaurant and bar. The whole place was beautiful and secluded.

    “Loved it a lot”

    There are so many things to love about the Shalimar, and I will leave the big negative until the end. We were in the hotel and we loved the view from the room and the layout, the kitchenette, the full-sized fridge, and it was equipped with a lot of great dishware and cookware. Nice up-to-date room, a nice bathroom, and the room was clean. The patio was screened and fantastic. Just walk out your door and you were on the beach. We did not use the pool, and the room had an ice maker in the freezer (along with a large ice machine by the pool). The only downside of the Shalimar was the walls were paper-thin, so you could just about hear everything in the rooms around you.

    Stayed here many times a wonderful location on Sanibel Island Beach. Beautiful cottages on a beach full of shells.
