Exceptional”
We had an amazing stay here during our visit to Siquijor for our honeymoon. Very secluded and private yet close enough to everything by scooter. Kevin was a very responsive and helpful host right off the bat and was helping us with ferry schedules, recommendations for places to go and things to do around the island before we even arrived! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay - welcomed us on the road to make sure we made it to the property okay, set up a British Columbia license plate in our room to make us feel at home (Kevin is a fellow Canadian), had a nice cold beer and frosted glasses waiting for us in the fridge, and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we were happy. We had a tiny issue with the water (our fault not theirs), and Kevin and Beth were both incredibly helpful to make sure it was quickly resolved. We spent a bit of our last night having a beer with them and they are such lovely, genuine people. The view is AMAZING and the property itself is just such a unique experience compared to the majority of other accommodations in all places we went to in the Philippines. Even after we checked out, Kevin and Beth went out of their ways to pick up an ID that a bike place had kept from us and shipped it along with a charging cord we forget at their place to make sure it got to our next destination in time before leaving! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay or better hosts. If you’re thinking about booking DO IT!!

Amazing stay on Siqujior ”
we can absolutely recommend Shambala: - quiet location in the nature - covered terrace with a great view to the sea - very clean - there is even a coffee machine - with the motorcycle you can reach everything very fast (3min to restaurants/ supermarket) and on Siquijor you need a motorcycle anyway - Kevin (the owner) is awesome, he is so helpful, obliging and friendly.

The moment we got in the place, we were stunned by the panoramic view of Siquijor facing Apo Island. Words are not enough to describe how beautiful the place is. My partner and I seriously contemplated on touring the island to instead just stay at our private balcony. Moreover, amenities are complete, entire place is sparkingly clean, plus having a fridge and microwave are enough for a longer stay. We also did not expect to have a complete medkit and emergency light that clearly shows how the owners prioritize our safety. I'd say that my review is not enough, but trust me that it takes an experience to prove everything I have mentioned here. Special mention to Kevin and Beth who are amazing! We never experienced such great hospitality. Lastly, Shambala as the name implies, this place will make your entire stay happy and serene. P.S We just left and we have just booked for our next vacation here (again) ❤

Perfect place, book it!”
Brand new space with modern comforts and breathe taking views! This spot is your perfect private paradise. The suite has a small fridge with a freezer, a microwave, and a real coffee maker with coffee and tea. The host Kevin and his wife are the sweetest and most attentive. Throughout our stay they offered to drive us to the port and market for food and even brought us a beer. They extended themselves to make sure any of our potential needs were taken care of while giving us our privacy. It was perfect.

Wonderful little Home with an amazing view”
We stayed for 4 Nights and loved it there. The view is amazing up there and the little bungalow is very clean and beautiful. The bed was very very comfortable. Also we could make breakfast by ourselves as there was a fridge, microwave, tea and coffee powder (for a coffee machine). The hosts are very very nice and love to help or advice for every need. We would have loved to stay a few more days in this peaceful little home.

Beautiful sunsets and ocean view!”
Shambala Paradise is quiet and private. They only have the one cottage rental so no neighbours. This place is brand new, we felt like we were the first ones to stay there. The fridge was bigger than what most guest houses offer and the microwave came in handy also. A real coffee maker with real coffee,great way to start the day. Our host brought us some fresh cake to go with it. The ocean view here and sunsets are phenomenal. This place definitely gets five stars!
