staff not friendly, very stern and never a smile
when i arrived on 11th of October, by mid-day, our room was not ready. yes check in time was 2pm-ok. but when we received the room, it was very smokey. it was not until the next day morning that i woke up with stinking eyes and coughing as i am a non smoker. At about 8am , i went to reception, and the stern receptionist says that because you are on the smoking floor. I did not request this.she then said i should leave my room at 8am in the morning and go some where(her exact words) till when a next available room is ready at 2pm. luckily i believe the manager was there at the time, and said to me,please leave the room at your convenience as courtesy. At breakfast, as i was about to leave, i had the worker running after me asking me to sign the receipt. Is this normal practice? surely he could have brought the receipt to me on the table to sign?. again after four days of having breakfast, i had another worker bring the receipt to me whilst i was having my breakfast to sign the receipt and then telling me that i have misspelled my name. surely they already have my details and room number, and this should have not been an issue. I really do not want to put this down to racism, but i feel it is. I feel the customer service skills lacking and i believe it to be a training issue especially when you are dealing with international clients not matter what their background is. As a result of this , i am rating this hotel 5/10 and we not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

Great Location
Shamrock Hotel is the only one hotel hold my heart, i will always travel to hotel and stay at this hotel due to the hotel staffs make me feel like home.

Shamrock hotel is my favourites hotel in Hong kong, I like the location just right at the side of Jordan MTR , staffs very friendly and helpful, i will consider to stay in my future visit in Hong Kong.

Satisfied Stay
My stay in Shamrock is during October for 5 nights. Book Standard room but was given a free upgrade to deluxe room as i have requested for a large bed. The location is very convenient. It is right next to the Jordan Station and walkable distance to Tsim Sha Shui and Yau Ma Tei

Love the locale of Shamrock
Perfect location to my favorite area in Hong Kong and Jordan Station is only a few steps away. Rooms are good for single travelers but they are a tad too small for two persons.
