A bit far from the center of town”

It is quite a long walk from the town center of Sagada, but you will pass by all the recommended restos and cafes like Lemon Pie, Bana's, Sagada Brew etc. While the room for 3 pax is clean with enough space for everything, including a balcony, it has no wifi and cable TV. The staff however was very very friendly and helpful during our stay. Their restaurant has a good menu, we tried their breakfast and it is delish with a good price of P170. Choose this inn if you do not mind the long walk, and no wifi in rooms.

    Affordable decent inn to stay”

It is located a bit far from the bus stop so it was a really struggle to carry our bags to and from the bus stop considering that there are no other means of transpo going to the inn but overall, it is a nice place to stay.

    Pleasant Stay”

    Rooms, Location, Staff

It was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. Water is good, hot shower is working. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is near food establishments as well - Sagada Brew, Lemon Pie House, Happy Hauz. Just 15mins walk from the tourist information center. We will go back to this inn if we come to Sagada again.

    Nice stay. ”

The place is 10 to 15 mins walk from the town proper so if you have baggages, it is not recommendable, however, this place is quiet and near restaurants. Sagada has 9pm curfew so expect that most of the establishments are closed at that time.

Great stay but a long walk from town proper”

PROs: Shamrock Tavern Inn is a nice place to stay in Sagada IF you have a car with you. Rooms are big and clean, the staff are nice, and it's probably one of the best inns in Sagada. CONS: Location though, can be a problem if you don't have transportation as it's quite a looooong walk to the town proper (15-20mins). Also, you would have to walk a steep uphill getting to the lobby so it's quite a challenge if you got heavy bags with you or you just got back from the tiring tours. No TVs in the rooms also, although, we didn't feel the need for it for an overnight stay (maybe for those staying longer). Wi-fi is only available in the lobby area. RECOs: Please have a van/jeep that could shuttle guests to the town proper, atleast. The long walk under the scorching sun is just sooo bad.

    Good place to stay!! 👌”

Pros- aside from good place to stay after tiring day of travel (12hrs). Clean and quiet lodge. Clean as well. Very accomodating staffs. Cons- It take a quiet long walk to get into market/center of place. Around 10 to 15mins I guess. However, its good for the heart. Generator in case of brown out. Or should I say informed other guys that due to using blower to other room you might loss lights in your own room. Other than that, I rate it as 9 out of 10.

Want your own bathroom? This is the place to be!”

I like how I have my own spacious room with towels, cabinet, tables and chairs to put my things to. Very thing I like is that I have my own comfort room with heater shower. If I come back to Sagada, I'm staying here again for sure.

Great place, great staff, great FOOOOD!!!”

We were here during ASEAN. We're lucky to get the last standard room from Shamrock and booked at the 3f. The room was big enough for two (4 people will fit quite well in it). The first thing we checked was the heater though, haha. it was working well so we were able to bathe peacefully :D we had quite a journey getting to Sagada (from being left by the Sagada bus to having to wait for a ride at Dantay because we took the Bontoc bound bus instead) so when we checked-in we were really hungry. we had no time to waste though so we decided to try Shamrock's kitchen instead of going out to the famous cafes and restos. Faye cooks deliciously. Their prices are not too far from the well-known restos and cafe in Sagada but the taste is incomparable. Listen to them when they suggest meals because it will never fail you :) it's decided then that if we ever come back to Sagada, we'll stay here again. The staffs are nice, i love them. hi Ate Jenny! (their very mabait receptionist :))

Pros: It's quiet and simple Staffs are great Rooms are impressive Cons: A bit far from some popular diners Lacks stairs to the main Tavern To sum it all up, this is a great Inn! If you want some simple and quiet time in Sagada I highly prefer this inn. Might consider bringing your own car or renting one.

Great amenities; approx 10 min walk from Tourist Info Center”

The staff at the inn was great - friendly and accommodating. Cleanliness was top-notch; not sure but it looks like the place is fairly new. For amenities, i appreciate very much that they have towels, tissue, body soap (although it's a bit small), hot and cold shower. I also loved their comforter!! :) The food at their restaurant was delicious too, especially the tapa. The downside for us is that it is far from the town center, such that if we wanted to eat at the other (famous) restos, we needed to walk a farther. But if you're up for some walking/exercise, go for Shamrock! =)

If its a low cost no frills 1950s hostel accomodation minus the east german guards you want rhen this is the place for you. It is ideally located in Sagada and has the bare minimum of facilities required to survive a 2-3 day visit. A must for all eastern bloc enthusiasts from the 1980s. Apart from that it is what is - a bed for the night, warm shower and a room. ENJOY.

    Sagada vacation”

Apparently, the best you can expect in Sagada. We were lodged in the 5th floor, with an outside bathroom. Water pressure is low and hot water is on and off. Bathroom has no place to hang clothing. You have to go down to ask for soap and shampoo. Food is excellent and service is fast. Staff is very courteous and helpful.
