Shams Hotel offers a superb beach location in Dahab’s central Mashraba District. It includes Shams restaurant which overlooks the Red Sea. Free Wi-Fi is available in the coffee shop. Air-conditioned rooms and bungalows are simply decorated with private bathroom. Guests can enjoy Red Sea or garden views from their own balcony or terrace. Some have a satellite TV and minibar. Several restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant or brought to your room. Shams has its own dive centre for snorkelling and diving. The tour desk can organise car rental, bicycles or excursions to St. Catherine's Monastery and Mt. Sinai. The Blue Hole dive location is a 15-minute drive. Sharm el Sheikh International Airport is 90 km away by car.

If you can live without wifi and want to stay at probably the best location you can stay at in Dehab then this is your hotel. The breakfast meals are pretty awesome because the hotel has an attached restaurant. There are western showers but they don’t work so well so you have to squeegee the bathroom floor to make it dry. Good bed and friendly staff

Dahab est une station sympathique à dimension humaine (rien à voir avec les usines à touristes de Sharm El Sheikh). Plein de sites superbes pour des activités aux alentour, du hiking, trekking, snorkeling, windsurf, katesurf, et bien sûr le monastère Ste Catherine et le Mont Sinaï.

super friendly staff, always attentive and nice quieter location at the start of the main street. Swimming pool would be great considering the price I paid but overall a very nice stay
