Very well located in an old town of Shangri- La when arrive call and they will pick you up, otherwise very hard to find hotel. Rooms are specious and quiet. Hotel owner very helpful with recommendations and general help Had a very pleasant stay - Thank you

The hostel is located inside the old town. The staff was really helpful, they helped us to book & recommend good places to go around Shangri-la. Overall a really pleasant stay!

Great location in the old town”

It was a little difficult to contact them by email. So if you want to make any special request, please call them. For the airport shuttle service, no one waited at the airport, the service was commenced on call. The location is right in the old town. We could explore the area on foot. The staff offered us tickets to Songzanlin temple at cheaper price than buying at the ticket office. The rooms were spacious and clean, but they did not offer daily housekeeping. It's understandable for budget hotel. However, overall is good value for money.

Super value! No heating”

Got it on a deal for $3.75 after tax. Way cleaner than I expected for the price. Bed was comfortable too. Just a bit cold.

We are was stayed here 2 night. Nice guest house in center Old city, clean, staff frendly and speak English, price very okay. Recommend!

Value for money, but no water heater”

Location & cleanliness is perfect but lack of water heater while I visited in early of December, which make me disappointed of the hotel facilities.

Good location ”

Good location in the middle of old town. Couldn't get any wifi in room, only a weak signal near the door for minutes at most. Staff were friendly and helped whenever we had questions. Great bicycle and motorbike hire shop across the road, with good food around. However it was the noisiest hostel we've stayed in China. Constant noise from our window from 5am-1am. Trucks, kids, cars, people talking loudly next door and downstairs. Every night at 12am it was the loud shifting and banging of wooden doors for a good 30mins from the shops closing downstairs. Only quiet time we had was from 1-5am. Weak shower, and had a few problems with hot water which was fixed. Twin room was relatively large and beds weren't bad although pillows was really flat and we had to request for extras.

Booked it based on the reviews but was very disappointed”

It's the second time that I book a hotel in Mainland China via Agoda based on the good reviews and when I arrive there it's completely different from what I expected. The room is big and in a nice area of town but it was very dirty. The smell in the bathroom was unbearable, the bedding was dirty as well as the room in general. There were flies all over the room and after a few hours we decided we couldn't stay there and left to find any hotel. We lose the 100 yuan that we paid for the room but at least we could stay in a cleaner room that night. I usually don't complain about budget hotels because I know what I'm paying but everything in that room was dirty (no wonder there were so many flies around).

Trés bonne situation dans la vieille ville ”

séjour agréable au coeur dela vieille ville et à quelques pas de la place aux danses traditionnelles et de l 'immense moulin à prières; les bus déservent bien le quartier;prendre le bus 2 pour le monastère situé à 20mn de route;petits déjeuners pris dans notre chambre avec bouilloire et thé et café liophilisé;pas testé le restaurant;quelques restos ds la rue dont le yak bar pour gouter à la viande de yak à prix raisonnables;
