Quick Stay”
I could only write this review based on the amount of time I spent in Shanghai, which was only about 8 hours. I booked 2 rooms online for my party of 5, and arrived very late at night. Not knowing much of the area, and starving after a long flight, all we wanted was food. The staff was very nice and informative and directed us to a restaurant serving hot pot on Nanjing Road, which was excellent. With our bellies filled and extremely tired, we got back to our rooms and were satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of the tiny rooms. The beds were very comfy and gave me the best night's sleep which made us ready to travel another 14 hours home. I'm so glad I booked these rooms, even though it was a very short experience of Shanghai, the food, and their nice people.

Awesome place to stay in Shanghai!! Easy to go around, Metro just 2 mins walk and very safe neighbourhood. From airport take Line 2 (Line 10 from/to Yuyuen Garden), take exit 6. Ningbo road, heaven of food less than 5 minutes. The Bund 7 minutes walk. All staff are cheerful and so helpful. I cannot speak Mandarin at all, but still can communicate well with the housekeeping lady! Ignore the rubbish comment about this property. Bear in your mind that English is not their main language. Peope are very helpful if you ask nicely, they do try to help though many times we do not understand each other languages. Remember, if you go to France or Italy, you will face the same problem though 😊 Nice bed room, nice shower (you will need this after walking around the whole day!)

Comfortable Stay Near The Bund”
I stayed here on a 24 hour layover as I wanted to see a glimpse of Shanghai. It was relatively easy to get here from the subway, however do yourself a favor and call the front desk for directions if you get turned around. I also recommend wandering down some of the nearby roads as I found a very cool and authentic street market just a couple of blocks from the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hot shower was most welcome after a long flight.

Good Place to stay in Shanghai”
The hotel was great. Less than a minute walk from the underground. The room is nice and clean. Plus free coffee and all soda in the fridges (6 cans of Cola and others for 2 nights). That's awesome Staff was nice and also speak English very well. Hotel is very near to the Bund which takes about 5-8 mins bliss walking to it. Totally worth the money

The Shanghai Fish Inn East Nanjing Road has some of the the most kind staff! They were helpful, friendly and always provided excellent customer service. The rooms are serviced daily and those staff members were thorough and extemely friendly. Fresh towels provided daily as well as two bottles of water! The location also gives you the opportunity to be close to everything, but still experience a bit of the local residential life which I thought was awesome. I highly recommend this place!

I've arrived around 8.00 am to leave the baggage but staff said my room is clean and ready for check-in, I never check-in too early at any hotel before so I'm really grateful. Really recommend this hotel, the location is so close to the metro and you can walk to Nanjing Road and The Bund.

Great location and comfortable room”
Best location in the town. Near to Shanghai Bund and subway station. A small inn inside the a township. Quiet at night. The room is clean and comfortable. The hitel support ckean environment, which the amenities are available upon request. I am very much supportive on this as the hotel industry create thousands of plastics daily. The in house cafe served nice cakes and drink. Really enjoying our quiet time at the lobby. The hotel staff are friendly and fun. I requested for extra 3 hours room use due to my midnight flight. There is a minimum charge and reasonable. It was good to take a shower before moving to the airport. I would highly recommended this hotel.

Above expectation. The size of the room is pretty good for the value of the money. The staffs were helpful & friendly, and they speak English. We couldn't keep our luggage there after the check out date (for we're going to another cities). Wished that they could allow us to do that even with some charge. But other than that, everything was perfect.

They were kind enough to allow us to stay in the lobby at midnight before checking in. There’s a mini cafe or bar at the lobby but I hope more variants of food will be served soon. It is also near metro station and a walking distance to The Bund and Nanjing Shopping District. Definitely, coming back to stay here again soon.

We have the family room type, the beds are wide, and enough for the for of us to sleep well. the bathroom was clean, very near to then east nanjing road line 10 exit 6, its very helpful. Near mini market n good food at ningbo rd. Near to the east nanjing pedestrian road. The staff is speaking english well We also cek in at super late night, but no problem at all They also let us to keep one of my luggage there while we off to Beijing. Super Helpful Will definitely suggest to a friend

Read about this hotel in a “Shanghai in 24hrs” blog and it did not disappoint. Easy to get to/from the train station, airports and Xintandi, and walking distance to the Bund and Nanjing Rd. Room itself was bigger than I expected, with a comfy bed, couch and desk. Bathroom was clean and complimentary water (plus extra when I checked out!) was greatly appreciated.

One of the best value hotel in Shanghai”
Overall, we liked everything in this hotel. The location is very close to exit 6 of East Nanjing Road, in which it is just 1 metro ride from/to Pudong Airport. Softdrinks & water are free. Our double room is not that big but still enough in size, plus it's clean. Recommended to stay here 😀

Pleasant Stay”
Perfect location - loved being so close (walking distance) to mtr, shopping area, restaurants, the Bund. We chose a larger room: lounge/sitting area with upstairs loft- style bedroom - perfect: clean and roomy with comfortable bed. Amenities included a fridge with daily complimentary water and cans of soft drink. Handy to have in room safe. Very quiet at night. Pleasant common area where you could have breakfast, snacks and drinks. Staff could be more switched on - spent too much time on mobiles when they could have been more responsive to travellers’ needs!

Fish Inn Nanjing Rd is really close to the subway line 2! However, the way to Fish Inn at night was a bit scary.. Anyways, I really enjoyed staying here and I will stay here again if I have a chance to visit Shanghai again :)
