Stayed 2 nights at Marriott hotel opposite and 2 nights at Shangri-La. Room at Marriott is much bigger in size with a breath-taking view of the ocean is definitely much better than Shangri-La.
Checked in on 16Dec at noon but waited for more than an hour waitin for duty mgr actively pushing us to upgrade despite our constant rejections and also to clear with booking agency on payment issues. Seaview 6th floor room but room given was facing the road and duty mgr told me to tilt my head to the left to see the seaview. Then she gave me 3rd floor facing the garden and told me to look far far for the seaview. Finally settled down at 5th floor with so called seaview but duty mgr insisted me to go down to re register again inorder to get my new room access card despite my repeated requests for them to send to me and any other additional documents or re registration required will be attend to later when I go out later. When i went down, she did not re register me instead she just passed me the new room access which was already ready. What an excellent service from the Shangrila duty mgr on 16Dec, noon, for hours of waiting till 4pm before we can go out and the drama created.

Stayed for 3 nights to attend concert at the nearby stadium. The experience from arrival to departure was incredibly helpful and smooth. Through fron desk even help me to contact the car booking services despite booking was not done by the hotel. The room is amazing, clean and bright. Very suitable for traveler whether it's for business or leisure trip. I will bring my family to stay there next time.
