Not a resort”
Bring lots of big spray, and anything you want to eat other than what might be provided. This is not a resort, not even glamping - they say the boat to the island is included in the fare, and it is not, there is no real management of the location. You arrive without supplies and you are stuck there basically. Beautiful location, but this is basically just a tree hut and you are stuck without any phone or wifi to get you off the island.

Pros: Private Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: Small food portion and cheap.(Really bad) No water until the next day at 9am. Only a 5 gallons of fresh water for 2 people. Try to sell private tours constantly. Dinner was serve at 9pm. We had lunch at 12pm on that day. Mosquito was a huge problem. Almost hundred of them were around us 4 when we first got on the island (but we were warned). All we look forward to after a few hours there is when we can go back inside. I will be contacting the manager for some refund since we did not have water for 4/5 of our time their.

Not good It’s not resort It’s just bed for sleep not have protected Not have good food The value for money Not deserve that money becouse no have fresh water evrey day they put one or 2 gallon and at Last not clean I don’t want to have like this experience any more I was visit many private resort in Philippins and I was not have like that experience I was shocked .

Private and very beautiful view”
We love everything from here , We need private resort on the island and finally we found here. It was small beach but quiet and private. All resort staffs have good service and very good take care. From this resort your can use kayak to the beautiful nearest beach called "Secret beach" that beach was very nice to swim and snorkeling.We had a great time on Shante island resort.

The highlight of our Philippines trip, for sure!”
This was the highlight of our trip to the Philippines. We stayed 4 nights (5 days) in this desert beach which is located just next to the Hidden Beach (less than 10min each way). We felt like we were inside a postcard, the views are breath taking! The food is amazing, they would cook fish they would catch on the day (they cook really well) and the staff were more like friends by the end of our stay. We had massive fun with them, even played traditional card games with them. 5 stars for sure! The beach itself is amazing, I went snorkelling 2 times with one of the staff there and he was always with me (making me feel safe, as I don’t know the currents there), and acted as a very good snorkelling guide pointing out interesting fish, taking a sea urchin out of the rocks for me to see, and even showing me a resident turtle which went past us swimming. We will be back for sure!

Tranquil Eco with a View!”
We had a great time here- it’s so peaceful and pretty. The ONLY thing I didn’t realize was that you can’t walk around the island; I thought we could explore from where we were. You can’t, really. That was a bit hard for two people with short attention spans that like walking. You can take a kayak out (there is only one for 2 ppl, so if other people are staying there, you kind of get stuck there until the other people are back), out to other beaches, and it’s INCREDIBLE. We hit every major destination before the tourists! The location is AMAZING- it’s so quiet and tranquil. It’s perfect for reading without interruption! The only other thing I would suggest is bring your own wine and drinks and drink mix. Not sure there was juice. Food was good! Local and Cooked by Christine- soooo fresh, (Brian, christines husband, caught fish each day). The best grilled squid EVER. I would definitely recommend this place! We stayed 2 nights and that was perfect for us!!

Lovely private beach getaway”
This private beach getaway is perfect for a relaxing time in El Nido. Brian was a lovely host and Tin Tin cooked the most amazing food. If you’re planning a more quiet time away from busy El Nido town, this is a great place to consider.

Shante Island Resort est un lieu charmant à condition d'avoir envie de repos et de farniente. Début janvier, la mer étant agitée il n'était pas envisageable de faire un tour en kayak...et si le niveau de l'eau ne le permet pas, il n'y a rien à faire que de rester sur la petite plage ou admirer la vue depuis sa cabane (si on a la chance d'avoir celles accrochées aux falaises). Bémol le soleil passe de l'autre coté des falaises à 14h30 déjà...mais la nourriture est super (sauf lorsqu'il faut attendre le banga de retour à el Nido qui arrive après le lunch, du coup le personnel est bcp moins avenant) et attention, le prix pour y aller et revenir est excessivement cher... 7000PHP !!! Et on vous avertit qu'une semaine avant du tarif... heureusement y a moyen de partager les frais avec les autres costumers si les dates coïncident) Bref, on y a passé un super moment malgré tout car les conditions nous ont été favorables ;)

Privat paradisstrand”
Fantastiskt ställe, lugnt och privat, fin utsikt från strand och husen. Serverar god mat och personalen är hjälpsam . Fantastiska snorkelvatten med koraller ända inpå strandlinjen. Inget för den höjdrädde, eller den som är ute efter lyxservice, personalen är inte så erfarna och pratar dålig engelska. Helt i skugga från kl. 15, skönt ibland!
