Totally dispointed with the infrastructure, cleanl”
Those with small kids, and old folks. As conclusion i wont recomend this to anyone bcos the facility to spoil. Not as advertise n not worth the money at all. Very sad because we didnt pay cheap for the hotel.

The hotel is overpriced. For this price you could get very much nicer hotel from for example Thailand. But it just might be because Perhentian Kecil doesn't have that much hotels, I think most of the hotels on the island are like this. The hotel area was quite nice, it's located right by the sea so it is very beautiful. But the room needs some refreshment. It's very dusty and dark because of windows being somehow darkened. We also had many lizards inside our room, which was very unpleasant, although you really can't avoid it in the middle of the nature.. All in all, i think the hotel needs some renovation, and I really can't say we enjoyed our stay that much.

Not clean, bad facilities”
Location is good (right next to Coral Beach), but the rest of it is disappointing. The room wasn't clean, towels were dirty, sink was dirty and toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. The bathroom was tiny and smelled awful. The decor of this hotel is in dire need of an upgrade. Wifi is very spotty. There is a private beach, which is nice but it should definitely be cleaned and it could use some new sunbeds. Staff is friendly though!

A nice private beach ”
Near to the jetty, has a good private beach, very helpful staff at the reception. Meanwhile, there were many warms on the bed and they bit us a lots. It may happens to not only this hotel in the island.

HORRIBLE”
Hot water not working.. Wifi not working.. Rooms not properly maintained.. Dirty rooms.. Blood on Bed sheets... Horrible Staff... Dead termites all over room... Will never visit again

NEVER again”
I have previously stayed in Shari-La before and it WAS pretty good. I wasnt expecting a 5-star service or anything close but it HAD basically everything I needed for a short vacation, rooms were clean etc.... HOWEVER This time around, the resort is awful. Upon arriving in my room, I spotted that the hot water switch wasnt working (1st problem), so my first reaction was to use the phone in the hotel to call the front desk.. it was a disaster.. the phone in the hotel room wasnt working (2nd problem) and had DEAD termites all over it. It was fully covered with dead termites.. (3rd problem) Not long after, I noticed dead termites all over the room on the floor. I quickly asked for a change in room but the frontdesk lady sent their maintenance staff instead. 2 of them came to my room with a broom, wanting to just sweep the termites away. I questioned them about the hot water switch and the answer I got was "You got to tell the front desk when you need hot water, and we will transfer hot water to your room and it normally take 40 minutes." (4th problem) I went to the front desk, requested for a change in room which they only did after describing about the bad termite condition in the 1st room. Upon checking in to our 2nd room, I noticed the hot water switch is again, not working. I quickly asked the front desk if what the maintenance guy said was true, because it would be a REAL hassle if I have to tell them every single time I need to shower (providing that the phones arent working at all, and the front desk is a distance from the room).. the front desk ladies said it is not true, and that as long as there are electricity in the room, i will get my hot water in 40 minutes.. so i trusted them. My nightmare began when I had to take my shower. There wasnt a single drop of hot water, plus the water pressure was so low it was literally just dripping from the shower rose. I had to use both the bidet and shower rose at once to finish my shower. So guys, this is definitely

The hotel has a lot of potential but needs better management. For the price charged, much more value can be delivered. The island is not used to foreign tourists the way Langkawi is used and standards of service, cleaning and environmental protection (e.g. even less awareness about the issue of littering than other parts of the country) are low. Things are likely to improve as more foreign tourists arrive so I think it is important to give constructive feedback to service providers on the islands. Particularly about the unacceptability of littering. It is also not acceptable in any hotel category to provide smelly pillows. I had 4 pillows in my room and they were all smelly. That said, Sue at reception is excellent (other staff average) and she went a long way to accomodate my requests. Thank you very much Sue!! Rooms should be better cleaned. They were clean only on surface not properly cleaned, you could see that from dusty surfaces in the bathrooms, hairs around (I think they should use vacuum leaners not brooms). To reduce waste, ALL hotels should make filtered water available to guests. There is one water dispenser in Amelia's cafe but is broke down on the second day of my stay. The beach is beautiful but the area around is not well maintained and littered. There is sufficient staff to tidy up the area on a daily basis.
