At first I booked just for the IFT fair at McCormick place. Didn't expect a good location. However, It's turn out that the location is really good. You can walk by river side or just walk further to the city! It the middle of everything. This is great for me.

Weekend getaway ”
I liked the location, cost and staff working! Didn't like how small the beds were and how uncomfortable they were to sleep in. Must improve this to make it a 5 star in my opinion.

Not very happy”
We used to live a block away from this hotel, so we knew in advance that the location was very convenient for the Chicago marathon, and it sure is. The truth is that the hotel and rooms look old and dirty, and the staff was not very helpful when we asked to have a late check out (on a Sunday when not many guests check in) because of the marathon. We would not recommend to stay here, considering the price is not cheap.

We had a comfortable one-night stay. The room was clean and roomy. It was nice to be able to walk from the underground parking lot all the way to the hotel lobby without being exposed to the out-of-doors when it was cold and windy. We attended a party in the Ballroom and the facility was very nice. The burger place in the lower level was just right for our needs, and there were other practical eateries in the hotel which made it quite convenient for the guests. One other thing I'd like to mention is that we had trouble finding the hotel parking lot entrance, but when we called the staff he was very patient and courteous and gave us block by block instructions until we entered the lot.

Beautiful hotel in great location, staff was friendly and accommodating. Very clean, the only con was if you aren't a SPG member they want to charge for Wi-Fi which I think is ridiculous given it is free anywhere. That policy needs to be changed. Otherwise great hotel to stay at!

Good yet slightly disappointed”
Overall, a recommendable hotel but don't be surprised if the actual room rate ends up going up upon your approval when you choose to pay at the property. Was very shocked for the room rate that I paid but there was not even body wash (shower gel) provided. When I asked the housekeeper about this, she answered that was only provided to the "VIPs" but she gave it to me anyway.

Great location nice nearby with whole food market, target store, walking distance to shopping area. If u like to convenience for food and drink is good choice to get club lounge benefit. Also fitness and indoir swimming pool is great.

Nice location and helpful reception ”
I enjoyed the stay there and appreciated the help from the reception on my first day arrival. However, the hotel room is a bit old and should provide more hotel room utilities like slipper, water boiler, hair dryer. It's also better to have a cafe that serve light foods. Overall is ok.

Lack of attention to detail ”
Lack of attention to detail compared to other grand Sheraton’s I have stayed at. Reception staff bored and lethargic. Greeter as we walked in was lovely. No concern about our room not being cleaned when staff were on strike. Paid for a service which I worked hard to pay for which we did not get. Also no robes or slippers for room and floor carpet was definitely sticky. I asked the reception staff and she said too bad we don’t provide them.... management were great covering door when staff on strike !!!
