A Delightful Stay!”

My husband and I had a very wonderful stay at the Sheraton Grand Macao! Upon check in, we were told that our room was upgraded to De Luxe Cotai room. Pulling back the curtains gave us a magnificent view of Cotai Strip. I'd like to commend Ms. Erica Mallari at the Front Desk. She was very helpful, allowed us to check in early (as this was included in my email prior to arrival in Macao) as well as late check out. She explained a lot of things in detail (like what transport to use, directions, meals/restos, express check out, etc.) that made our stay and tour of Macao very pleasant. Sheraton gave a lot of freebies like eco bag, entry pass to Planet J, a voucher for an almond cake (which we were unable to get in Taipa), and complimentary ferry ride for 2 pax from Macau-HK. We also had a chance to dine in one of their restaurants called Xin. We enjoyed the buffet hotpot! I would definitely stay in this hotel the next time I visit Macau and would recommend it to friends & family.

Always an old faithful.”

We had family visiting Hong Kong from overseas, and we decided to go to Macao for the final 2 nights of their visit. The Sheraton Grand Macao has always been an old faithful for me - its prices are always fair (and usually lower than its competitors, even though the hotel is located along the Cotai Strip). I made a separate booking from this one, but am reviewing it anyway, since the booking is under my name. I was told that even though their were some inconveniences during the first evening, the staff were very apologetic, sending a personal apology handwritten on a card, and offering a tray of yummy fruit.

Greatest stay we had”

Nice & comfortable room, strategic location, attentive staff

It was one of the greatest stay we experienced so far. The guest relation team is very attentive, we were given enhanced room with special decoration in the bed room for our anniversary, and a birthday cake was sent to our room for my birthday. I personally thank Sheraton Macao for the care. Room assigned for us was comfortable and nice, we also love the spacious bath room. Location of Hotel is strategic, it is part of the Cotai Strip area and just walk through the sky bridge if you wish to visit the Venetian Hotel. Free shuttle bus to/from Ferry Terminals are available at Hotel lobby, while the shuttle bus to/from downtown (if you wish to visit Macao World Heritage Area) is available at City of Dream which is just in a walk distance from Sheraton Macao. On breakfast, there were wide variety for breakfast buffet but I personally will say the taste was just average (I am a bit picky when it comes to food). If you are planning to stay in Sheraton Macao, I hope you will enjoy it like us.

The best choice of all!”

Staff performance, room comfort, and value for money.

My stay in Sheraton was very nice. I was planning a trip in Macau for just taking a rest, relaxing, chilling with my own so, I spent most of the time in the hotel. The public area was very convenient to find and made me feel comfortable because of all the services and staff performance. I would say that the Staff Performance is the first reason that I am very impressive about the hotel and will be the reason why I would like to come back at Sheraton Macao again. Sheraton Macao gave me very amazing and wonderful experiences. Every single staff is very nice, kind, polite, gentle, and always willing to take care of me. I still remember the Staffs’ names who I would like to give complement to which are Ms. Michelle Kim from Korea and Mr. Anthony from Philippine. Ms. Michelle Kim is very professional in working and so kind. She is the person whom I checked in with. At the first day of arrival after checking in to the room, I still needed her help regarding to hotel services and everything so I came back to the VIP front desk and I did not know that it was her break time but she was very nice and kind to go back to her bureau and helping me out even though it was her break time. Mr. Anthony from Philippine is another person who helped me for the bags and luggage. He was very polite and caring. He helped me carrying my belongings, I wanted to have a bottle of water and he was willing to get one for me. All the staffs in Sheraton have served me very well! Moreover, the location is very convenient. It is not far from the airport ad it is just opposite to the Venetian which is very nice. I definitely will be coming back here again and would love to stay at Sheraton Hotel in every country I go! Sheraton Hotel will be one of my choices to consider for my every next trip.

Truly Grand”

My mother aged 81 has never been to Macao (although she's been to HK numerous times), so unlike the majority of travelers from the Philippines, we went straight to Macao from Manila. Sheraton Grand Macao did not disapooint, although it was not our first choice (it was the Venetian, where my father and other members of my family travelling with me stayed several times). Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is very good (being interconnected by bridgeway and other roofed pathways to the Sands, Four Seasons, Venetian, etc.) There is also a good food court on the third floor of the mall where meals are delicious and not too expensive. The mini-forest at the lobby was quite a sight for sore eyes. The only disappointment was the buffet breakfast at Feast, which was subpar for the price. Limited choices, food tasted average. But room service food was good and service prompt. Yes, I would return. YEAH BA!

Probably best value in Cotai Central”

Value, Room comfort, Location

The value of the hotel is simply great. Not very expensive when compared to other hotel in Cotai Central, and still provide 5-star experience and premium service. The room is spacious and comfortable. The beds are big, clean, and comfortable, and so does the pillows : comfortable and clean. The view from the room is excellent : the skyline of Cotai Central, and in clearer days you could see the sea and see buildings on the Chinese side. The television provides good selection of channels from Western, Japanese, and Chinese television. The room is well-lit and comfortable, air conditioner is available at every room. The bathroom is excellent, with clean bathroom, a shower, and a bathtub. The bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. The location is great, being in Cotai Central. It's very close to City of Dreams, and you could just cross the road for Studio City or The Venetian. The streets are quite empty, but it's well lit so you will have no problem walking around. Should you prefer walking inside malls, Sheraton is well connected (through Sands Central) to other casinos and malls such as The Venetian. The staff speaks good English, and would gladly assist you if you have problems. The casino is quite lively, but not as good as the one they got in Studio City or in The Venetian. Great hotel to stay in Macao.

Exceed Expectation”

The Room, The Food and The Service

Sheraton Macau was a surprise to me. I am the type who reads hotel reviews first before I book. I chose the Club King with Lounge access because buffet breakfast is included (just being practical). Fortunately, it also comes with an afternoon snacks and evening cocktail which for me is a big big plus. When we entered the lounge, we were greeted and attended to immediately by one of the hotel staffs (great job Alfie Rocamora). Staff like him is an asset to the company, very efficient so our check in was fast. Everything was explained, he knows what the guests need to know. We were able to check in at 130pm and was allowed to check out 1pm the following day (i have never experienced this with other 5 star hotels in Macau...only with Sheraton). We were also upgraded to a Cotai View room (what more can you ask for?). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. Outdoor pools are beautiful but the weather wasn't good at that time. Temperature was still cold (19degrees) so we were not really able to enjoy, we just took pictures of the surroundings. I highly recommend this for the quality of the hotel and staff performance as well as the value for money. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

Great Experience”

“Nice room, crowd could be better though”

from the shuttle bus from cotai ferry to our arrival and stay in the hotel everything was excellent. The lady assisting the shuttle bus gave each of us a souvenir coin. Checking in was a breeze... too bad though that the Sheraton Macau designer shopping bag that was supposed to come with my room package was already out of stock and was replaced with a commemorative teddy bear instead. We didnt realize how huge the hotel was since we were only going through the Sky tower side but when we were looking for the breakfast restaurant, we realized we hadnt even stepped foot on the Earth tower side. There was a wide selection of breakfast items and we werent able to try most, but those we did were excellent in taste and quality. Sheraton Macau has a connecting bridge that leads to Venetian, Four Season , the Plaza and to the nearby public bus station to Senado Square. It is also adjacent to a high end shopping mall. They are very generous with the amenities. My son loved the spacious pool area . I didnt even have to line up to check out, one of the staff volunteered to do it for me instead. Their staff are all excellently trained and all very accommodating. Sheraton Macau makes you feel pampered and special. I find the rates very reasonable and would definitely stay here again next time.

I've had the best check-in experience of my life when I checked-in at Sheraton Grand Macao, all thanks to Shana who was exceptional! She was very helpful, friendly, and looked like she really loves what she's doing. I checked in very late and was very tired from my Hongkong trip and Shana's warm welcome made a difference. Since she knew that my flight is very late on the next day, she went the extra mile and gave me a comp late check out which really helped! I cannot describe how amazing she was and words can't express how thankful I am. I also got a room with an amazing view of the Macau Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. Great facilities, perfect location, excellent staff!

Spacious Sanctuary on the Cotai Strip”

Less gaudy and pretentious than most of its Cotai Strip counterparts, and definitely not as unnecessarily extravagant, the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel turned out, instead, to be an immensely comfortable, family-friendly sanctuary, more a home-away-from-home than a loud, garish tourist hotspot. The restaurants were excellent as well, and we had the most spectacular view of the faux-Eiffel Tower and Studio City from our room at the Sky Tower. Much to love here, and definitely recommended.

Comfortable room, friendly staff”

Comfortable room, friendly staff, lots of activity options

The Sheraton Macao is gigantic (the largest Sheraton in the world and the largest hotel in Macao), so it's a wonder that they're able to deliver such prompt and friendly service, tending to their customers and maintaining their composure with even the most irate, impatient guests. Everything on the Cotai Strip is easily within walking distance of the Sheraton, with a connecting bridge to the Venetian.

Luxurious, cozy and great view”

The view, the staff and the rooms were clean

I've never tried Sheraton Macao before and thought I'd try something new since I've stayed at Venetian, MGM and Galaxy numerous times. Check in was fine, a bit of a wait and I think they could've used more check-in staff. The room was beautiful. It was clean and tidy and without the lingering smoke smell that some Casino's in Macau have. The view of Venetian and the Sheraton Macao pool was lovely, a truly relaxing view and couldn't have asked for a better view due to the location of Macau. After settling in, a knock on the door came and it was a very kind woman from Sheraton Macao that congratulated us on our anniversary and presented us with a bottle of wine, chocolates and a lovely card. We didn't expect this kind of thing and we were truly thankful to the staff at Sheraton Macao. Sheraton Macao is linked with other casinos and hotels as well, so it's very convenient if it rains. Also theirs lots of dining options in the hotel and in the shopping centers connecting to Sheraton Macao. Overall we had a very nice stay and we'll definitely be returning and recommending it to our friends and family. Once again, thank you for the lovely gesture for our anniversary.

Everything a 5 Star Hotel Should Be And More”

size, location, elegance

The Sheraton Grand Macao was nothing short of excellent and is everything you want in a 5 star hotel. Look for package deals with this hotel as you can get a multiple night stay for about 50% off it's normally booking prices. Wonderful in room dining and television options and a large bathroom with a large bathing tub. Be sure to go and buy your own room supplies as the mini bar items are very expensive if you are looking to save a little money and waste it on gambling instead.

Amazing Hotel”

Gym, Location, dining

Amazing new Hotel, right on Cotai strip. Location was amazing, close to everything. Gym was best ive seen at any hotel. Staff and concierge was very helpfull, shopping centre attached to hotel and lots more surrounding it. Could not fault it. Breakfast was huge buffet. Rooms were spacious enough to breakdance in and shower was amazing. Do yourself a favour and book this in Macau... dont waste time with Venetian.. too expensive.. Sheratons lobby was a lot more impressive then Venetian or Grand Lisboa.. WORDDD!!

Great Value for the Money”

Location, Service, Comfortable Rooms

Great stay and the best value for your money on the Cotai Macau strip. Connects to Venetian, Four Season's and other major hotels along with at least three casino's. I liked the fact that the Sheraton/Sands Cotai casino had black jack minimum bets at 250 HKD where everyone else had it at 300 HKD. The only issues I have is that you need to pay for wifi internet, which in 2013 is not right. The other issue is the pools water is too warm. Not a very refreshing cool down. Lastly, I would suggest having better drink service by the pool. Maybe because its really hot in July during the daytime, but it was rather difficult to flag down a employee to order a drink. Sheraton can take in more revenue by the pools if they had employees ask guests if they would like a drink, instead of guests trying to draw attention to servers (who were all just hanging out under the umbrella by the front door chatting).

Service & facilities as expected for 5 start hotel”

New, spacious room,, good facilities, friendly helpful staff

we took the free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, which was fast & efficient. the sheraton is in the same building complex as holiday inn and conrad, which are all part of the sands cotai, the sheraton being the newest of the three. once we arrived at the sheraton lobby (last stop of the shuttle ride) there were plenty of staff on hand in the lobby directing us to the check in counter, which was a little further away from the main entrance. the main counter was used only for check out at our time of arrival. we arrived at 9 in the morning, way too early for the official check in time of 2. the receptionist went through the check in process so all we needed to do was pick up our room keys when we returned after a day of sight seeing. the concierge arranged for our luggage to be stored until our room is ready. our room was spacious, clean, had a view of the swimming pool below and glimpses of the venetian across the road. although it was winter, the main swimming pool and the spa pool was heated. the fitness centre is well equipped, with separate sauna and steam room for men and women. location wise, it is very close to city of dreams where the house of dancing water show is at (about a 15 minute walk) and across the road linked via an overhead passage to the shoppes at venetian, which is a shoppers paradise. to get to macau city there are free shuttle buses that take you to hotels in the same group and the ferry terminal which are very convenient to use. the concierge is very helpful in providing directions.

Sheraton Macao is really worth it!”

Location, value for money, cleanliness and staff

Sheraton Macao was really worth staying for. Our family enjoyed everything about it from the room to the hotel's facilities to the Shrekfast which we all enjoyed. The hotel is connected to The Shoppes at Cotai wherein the parade of Dreamworks characters were held everyday at 4pm. We were able to visit other attractions in Cotai Central because of the great location of Sheraton Macao. The staff particularly front desk Ms Mariana was so helpful.

Terrific value in the midst of Macau action”

Value for money, comfortable beds, brand new decor

Sheraton Macau is a terrific choice if you are on a budget. Being the least expensive hotel in the extravagant area that is the Cotai Strip, it definitely delivered on the quality and service and exceeded our expectations considering the price was considerably less than what the other nearby hotels were charging. The decor is brand new and the rooms are a generous size. The king beds were huge and the pillows were so comfortable I wished I could take them home with me. The lady that served us at reception was very efficient and helpful and the express checkout was a breeze. It is a short walk (less than 10mins) from all the major attractions such as The Venetian and City of Dreams and the shuttle to and from the ferry terminal was fairly frequent.

Very good hotel on the Cotai Strip”

Priceworthy, Interior and standard

Sheraton is a very good choice in Macau. It's located in the Cotai Strip, opposite of Ventian and many other casinos and shopping places (mostly expensive brands). It's a normal sized double room but the standard and comfort is great and it feels like a luxury hotel. The gym is very good and there was not many people there. Also the swimming pools were great. The price for the room is very good, I can recomend a stay at Sheraton for others and when I return to Macau I will try to stay there again. The only negative thing was that there was not any signs with "do not disturb" or "make up room" and it was irregular cleaning times. The result was that it was many times in the afternoon that they rang the doorbell and we had to try to decide a new time because they hadn't cleaned the room during the day...

Great new and affordable hotel in Cotai Strip!”

large rooms, location, new hotel

Everything was superb from check-in to check-out! We came from Hong Kong via a ferry and their shuttle bus to the hotel is just waiting outside of the Cotai port. Check-in was quick even at 12 midnight and we have a large room with two queen sized beds! The design of the hotel is great because it's a mall and all the lobbies are just grand and the interior design of the hotel and hotel rooms are just great! You know that everything is new and it's one of the hotels that smells good. Our view was great, with City of dreams on the right and the pool on the left, with Conrad hotel occupying most of the view, which I dont mind. The bathroom is also large and I love the toiletries! Check-out was quicker than ever as we were just asked if we got anything from the mini bar and we didn't so we just signed a small piece of paper and we're ready to go. Sheraton Macau is one of the 3 hotels at Sands Cotai strip where there's a big casino floor with good food in one of the shops, a big mall, impressive display and lobbies here and there, a big food court with everything you're craving for, a lot of shuttle buses to take you EVERYWHERE, and it has a bridge connected to Four Seasons that is connected to Venetian Macau! Everything about Sheraton is just a winner!
