Great location for visitors to Tokyo Disneyland”
Located right beside Bayside station on the Disney Resort Line, the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel is convenient for visitors to the Tokyo Disney themeparks. If you are venturing into central Tokyo, visitors can take the Disney Resort Line to JR Maihama station for onward connections. The hotel itself is dated, but I stayed at the highest floor during my visit, where I found the room refurbished. For frequent visitors to Japan, the room is very large compared to those in the city centres. Eligible guests will also be able to use the Sheraton Club Lounge on the same floor. There are a number of restaurants at the hotel, so guests can choose between various options. The gym was too small and should be better equipped. The gardens and outdoor pool are great for a morning walk or an afternoon swim perhaps. One major issue with the hotel is the lack of elevators, which can get very congested in the morning, at noon during check-out, and at night, after guests return from the parks.
Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel”
Stayed at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel with my wife and 4 yo daughter in May 2015. For the money, it would be hard to beat this hotel. Its clearly designed for families and is one of the official Disney hotels. Its located right on Tokyo Bay, so we got a great breeze at night. If you are not intending to stay at this hotel for the purpose of visiting the Disneyland park, I would suggest staying elsewhere. Not a negative on the hotel at all. The location is not intended to serve customers touring the greater Tokyo area. In terms of dining, there are several nice yet spendy dining options at the hotel. Therefore, I would suggest dining at the restaurants located near Maihama Station. It's not anything fancy, but if you want to feed your family with good food at a reasonable price close to the hotel, this is a great option. One gem we found was a Japanese market in the basement of the shopping area near Maihama Station. Great take-away food/drink options at a fraction of the price in the park at its open until 11pm.
Wonderful service and quality you expect in Japan.”
I stayed at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay for two nights in there Ocean Dream room with my 1 year old son. The ocean view was nice, but we did not spend much time in the room to enjoy that perk. Most of our time was spent in the Disney parks. I enjoyed how close the hotel was to the monorail station, after a long day at Disney I did not want to spend time in the car or on the train. The Sheraton did not have a baby cot to fit my 18 month old son so I was offered the accommodation of pushing the beds into a corner of the room so my son could safely sleep against the wall and not fall out of the bed. This worked out well for us and we had a wonderful night sleep. The beds in the Ocean Dream rooms are very plush and comfortable. The bathroom had a child toilet seat attachment and stool making it easier for my son to use the bathroom himself. They also provided a child sized toothbrush and yukata which I thought was a nice touch. It did not cost anything extra for my son to stay in the hotel but they took great care of him. At check out they assisted us in English at helped us ship our bags home so I didn't have to deal with a suitcase and souvenirs on the train. I would suggest this location to any family looking for a good hotel to stay at while visiting Disney. I felt safe staying here alone with my son and will be coming back next time we come to Disney.
Great location, Huge Hotel and Beautiful Rooms”
We chose Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel because of its location being just a stone throw away from Tokyo Disney Resorts (Disney Land and Disney Sea). Beautiful Lobby and Amazing Rooms. Check in was a pleasure and staff were very friendly. Rooms size is big compared to standard Tokyo rooms. Amenities were top quality and room was tastefully designed. Great view of the bay area and the Disney Resorts. We enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely return to this beautiful hotel.
I've gotten this hotel deal at a steal of only 200 per nights which normally per night is around 800. Location is good as it's one of the official disney resort. 1 station to disneysea and since the monorail only is only 1 way we've to loop back to disneyland which is 1 station ahead which isn't a problem as all disney resort are at this same station "tokyo bay station" the only lame thing is the shuttle bus service which can be improve if shuttle service is to the various attractions (Disneyland/sea) instead it's to the monorail station which you can actually walk and reach in less than 10 minutes. The hotel staff can speak english and have wonderful service. I went for the last hour buffet after coming back from Disneysea and since it's my bf birthday I wanted to surprise him and the hotel staff was as enthu as me and help out with surprising him with 2 mini cakes from the dessert bar with his name writen and a "happy birthday" by using chocolate. They even use their own camera took a picture of us and made a birthday card for him. I guess the hospitality that they've extended to us is really world class standard. The only down side for this hotel would be no in room wifi for the amount that was paid. Wifi is only available in the main lobby. But there isn't a problem if you have rent your own wifi device that you can conveniently dropped off at the post box before taking the airport limousine. Do purchase your attraction tickets at the hotel counter too to avoid long queues in the morning. We bought a 2 days tickets which is slightly cheaper compared to purchasing 2 different tickets. Our room view was awesome too, facing the chapels and outdoor pool with the skyline of tokyo bay where you get to see mt fuji if it's not too foggy and also to enjoy the marvelous sunset view just sitting in the room with the balcony door open.
Great Value for Money”
I used to stay at the Tokyo Disney Resort, but decided to try Sheraton Tokyo Bay this time. For one third the price as the Tokyo Disney Resort, I must say that Sheraton offers much greater value. While compromising on a few things like a free monorail pass and the 15min early entry, and of course the awesome location, the hotel is beautiful, not as crowded, has MUCH better breakfast and food selection and quality, and the rooms are pretty nice as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I will probably be picking this in my future visits to Tokyo Disneyland.
Our 2nd stay didn't disappoint”
This was my family's second time to TDR and second stay at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel. The staff are great and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel has great facilities including a kids arcarde and a coin laundry facility. Our family loved eating at the Grand Cafe for breakfast, it had a good selection of both Japanese and Western meals. You have to be sure to get there before 07:00 (before 08:00 when the parks open at 09:00) before the crowd hits; otherwise, you may be waiting for some time to eat. It was very convenient for our 2-day Disney trip. We would definitely stay again.
Great Hotel near the happiest place on earth ”
Took the airport limousine bus to Sheraton Tokyo Bay Hotel. Check in was pretty fast. Upon entry to our room (got free upgrade to parkview room), we saw special birthday arrangement for my daughter & another for our wedding anniversary. We got 2 double beds plus 1 single bed which is just perfect for my family of 5 pax. The hotel has an indoor pool & a disney store...and their late night buffet (starts 9:30p.m.) is awesome...good for us after our tiring but joyful disney theme park activity. The hotel also offers free shuttle to the nearest train station (maihama & bay station). Our kids enjoyed breakfast buffet at the grand cafe as well. The hotel is perfect for couples or families who plan to go to disneyland park & disney sea.
Great location, comfortable bed”
Our stay at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel was relaxing and pleasant. Comfortable room and very clean. One aspect we did not enjoy was the strong cigarette smell from level 4 from the moment we stepped out of the elevator. Although, it seems all of the other floor levels seem to have a similar strong cigarette smell throughout their corridors from the moment you stepped out of their elevators. I ended up requesting for a change of room due to a strong cigarette smell inside one of the room I was staying on level 4 which was supposed to be a non-smoking area. Having said that, the staff were very quick to find me an alternative room to change which was a lot better with no strong odor. Despite the above problem with strong odour from previous tennants smoking inside the hotel room, the Sheraton Grande Hotel is simply beautiful and a great location. Food selections from hotel restaurants very expensive. I think if all the restaurants reviewed their menu and pricing to make it more similar to prices that you would pay at nearby restaurants located at the Maihaima station, they would likely increase the number of customers using the hotel restaurants.
My 2nd time staying at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay. It has improved much after renovation. The breakfast was very delicious. You can choose to eat your breakfast at few restaurants in the hotel. Best was at the Grand Café. There is a very nice arcade in the hotel itself and my son really enjoyed. After a tiring day at the Disneyland, he still asked if he can go and play some games at the Arcade. We didn't get the chance to play the mini golf but there are some guests enjoying it. There is also a convenient shop in the hotel and a nice Disney shop for last minute shopping. As for the Disney Park Tickets, you may purchase it in advanced at the counter at near the front desk. We will definitely choose Sheraton again without considering other nearby hotels the next time we go Tokyo.
Perfect location & amenities”
Our family enjoys the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay. The grounds are amazing. The convenience to the monorail/train is hard to beat. The staff is very helpful, polite, and provided us wonderful service. While many prefer the bay view, our family enjoys the Disney side of the hotel for fireworks in the evenings. We love the balcony access for fresh air. The food was very expensive, however. It was difficult to justify the buffet cost for our children. They do not eat very much and we did not feel the cost was worth the visit.
I book a deluxe room which has four beds and a club deluxe room which has 5 beds. The sheets, pillow, blankets are all comfortable. If you are coming from narita airport you can just ride a bus, and if you are going to narita airport just book an airport limousine it is just around 1800 yes for adult. You can directly book to the hotel. They also sells disney tickets. Will save you time. But if you are coming from any part of Tokyo just go to maihama station and ride the disney subway and go down to bay resorts. Ride bus number 1 its free. Then you will be in sheraton.
Fantastic Facility, great location and excellent staff”
The location is fantastic. The airport limousine bus stops at the hotel; the Disney monorail station is a 2 minute walk (there's also a shuttle bus to the station), so access to Disney is an easy 10 minute exercise; train to Tokyo station is just 15 minutes and from Tokyo station you can take the train/subway anywhere. Contrary to what we heard, the train/metro is easy to navigate and there is always somebody to help if you need directions. The room we stayed in was very spacious. We stayed in a twin park room (4 beds) which was great and very clean. The staff were very nice. We did the Disney Parks on 2 days and the remaining 4 days we took the train to Tokyo and explored various parts of the city. We also spent some time enjoying the hotel - mini golf, ping pong, swimmng (all for a fee). Breakfast is decent enough and we had lunch at the cafe a few times. Ikspiari is a cheaper option for meals - the mall (2 stops away by monorail) has many restaurants. Our experience overall was fantastic!
Great & Fantastic Hotel!!!”
Very happy with our stay in this hotel. Bear in mind that this is one of Disney official resorts. So for those who solely want to spend their holiday in Disneyland and Disneysea, this is definitely the place to be. However if you plan to go for sightseeing in Tokyo area or other places then you you better off book your hotel somewhere else.Limousine bus take you straight to the front door and when you want to go back to the airport. Our room was spacious and range selection of toiletries. It is clean and bed is comfy. Staff is friendly and willing to help you at their best. Most of them can speak English. You can buy Disneyland and Sea entry ticket at the hotel and the monorail station is just right in front of the hotel. I say around 1 minute walk. There is also shuttle bus that can take you to the main station JR Maihama station if you want to venture outside Disney resort. Food in the hotel is pretty expensive. We bought ours at Ikspiari which is more affordable and you can access that with monorail. Overall it's a Great and Fabulous hotel. Definitely a place for family or couple or group of people who want to spend their time in Disneyland and Disneysea!
It is one of the official Tokyo Disney hotels, just by paying half of the accommodation price for Tokyo Disney resorts (which located within the park), still you will be getting an easy access to the park as they provide free shuttle to take you around the park area. The hotel staffs were very friendly, you could even purchase your park admission ticket at the hotel. Most importantly, the bed was super comfortable, it made a bonus as we had been spending our whole day at the park and were soooo tired, we were able to have a good night rest with the comfy bed. Recommended to those who are going to visit Tokyo Disneyland.
This was definitely a value for money hotel near Disney resort”
We really enjoyed our stay at Sheraton. It was reasonably priced room compared to other hotels around the Disney resort. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay. This hotel was also strategically located right across from the disney train station that takes 1 stop to the Disney Sea resort. The friendly and helpful staff was the icing on the cake for this hotel. My family and I really enjoyed our first leg of our very first Japan trip.
Luxury hotel for Tokyo Disney Resort”
This is one of the small number of resort hotels on the Tokyo Disney Resort area, and certainly does not disappoint. The facilities are comfortable and both family friendly and couple friendly. Nice pools both indoor and outdoor, a spa (which you have to pay extra for), shopping facilities and restaurants. Along with the friendly staff and the easy access to the Tokyo Disney Land and Disney Sea resorts, this is a must if you have a bit of money to splash out on and visiting the parks.
Recently refurbished hotel rooms”
This is our 2nd time staying at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel. After refurbished, the room is modern looking. Still prefer to the old design with some cartoon dolphines on the wall/s. Overall, the stay was fabulous.
We chose the hotel because the location is near to Tokyo Disney Sea, and we are able to drop our baggage at Tokyo Disney Resort Center, which is then delivered to our room. Although we didn't really spend much time in the hotel (since we arrived only at 9 pm after going to Disney Sea), but I would say that it was a pleasant 1-night stay. Everything we need are available in the room. Buffet breakfast is very good (standard 5 star hotel).
Conveniently Located beside the DisneyLand Bayside Line!”
The hotel is conveniently located in between DisneyLand and DisneySea!! You can purchase the day passes for travels on their DisneyLine!! The room we stayed in was clean, comfy and we (Husband, Daughter and myself) each had a bed to ourselves!! We went during the cold season and the room was warm enough for us. It was perfect especially after braving the cold at both parks !! Will definitely stay with Sheraton Grande again if we ever visit DisneyLand Tokyo! :) And Thank you so much for accommodating us at the last minute! We checked in at 1am!! :)
