Good Time”
The location of this hotel is next to West Lake. This is a quiet and peaceful place in center of Hanoi. This hotel is quite far from Noi Bai International airport. (1 hour and 19$ full price for taxi to get there) In my opinion if you are seeking a place with beautiful nature for relaxing - Sheraton is not the place for you because it located in the center of a crowded city. However this is absolutely a perfect place for you to stay during your business trip. It has everything you need for couple days staying such as comfortable room with widely bed, fully furnished, facilities, nice bathroom with tub and shower room, breakfast every morning, new newspapers and magazines... (Or even longer for your family trip if you're planning for a staying in Hanoi and travel around the city, shopping, visit your relations, etc.) When I came, the receptionists impressed me with their professional and friendly attitude. They can offer you good service during your time spending here. All staffs are kind and well-training. I really appreciate their fast service. I called Guest Services so many times for meal and room service and they did not let me wait for long time. Besides that, I ordered dishes from Sheraton's restaurants for dinner and midnight meal and their food's quality can satisfied me. Most of dishes I ordered were delicious (except Stir rice - I can't even swallow it. I hoped they did not stir rice with corn next time) Although all good points they have, there are some disadvantages here. I cannot access to the 3g connection on mobile network. Mobile is always has weak cellular signal. All phone calls keeps disconnecting and re-connecting during the conversation. I can't even have a conversation without hang-up. Text messages cannot sent, my mobile almost useless when I was in Hotel. Smartphone is a common device for long distance working. How can people use their phone if there is no cellular? Even though they have Wi-Fi but 18$/day for normal guest (not gold member of
Great Hotel”
Our stay at this Sheraton Hanoi Hotel was great. We created immediately upon arrival and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful with fantastic rooms. If we wanted to eat at the hotel there was a wide variety of food to choose from and a wonderful buffet breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.
One of the Best Hotels in Hanoi”
We live in Hanoi. The Sheraton Hanoi is our go-to "staycation" venue. We've tried many other hotels, but always come back to the Sheraton. The service is superb. Great rooms. Nice atmosphere. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Top notch gym and spa. When the weather is good, the pool is a very relaxing place to be.
Lovely hotel”
Hotel Sheraton Hanoi found to very good and standards as per five star class , as it is supossed to be.We have gone thro Agoda and the package seems to be cheaper, had this been booked directly with the hotel. Have upgraded the room to the suite room, so there were 24 hrs internet facilty and free drink in stipulated time, was allowed in the 17th Floor. The staffs were good and responsive. The buffet breakfast was good with variety of food. The view from the hotel room was also very good.Overall stay was good.
Set in expat area away from main business area”
The Sheraton Hanoi Hotel is a very comfortable hotel in an expat area of Hanoi, tucked away from the main business and touristy area. There are some great local restaurants in the surrounding streets that are worth a wander.
at the end of the day - it is the Sheraton !!!”
the hotel is located in the center of Hanoi, just on the lake and a short walk from the old city.by the end of the day, it is the Sheraton , and therefore breakfast, rooms, bussines center and other services provided are great and high quality. would defenitly return when visiting hanoi again.
simply wonderful, worth the $”
This is the first time I stay at Sheraton and I would say this is the best out of my experience in different hotels and countries! The view was awesome with lake and swimming pool outside of my window. The location is simply perfect for everything: biking, spa, great restaurants just simply within 5 mins walk from the hotel, yet it is so easy to get access to anywhere in the city. The staffs were so nice and caring. I got sick in the end of the trip and the hotel staff helped a lot when I needed a doctor. This is the only hotel I have been to without any critics. The price is worthy and it is not that bad anyway. Would love to come back again!
Best Business Hotel in Hanoi”
I have always stayed in Sheraton Hanoi for my trips to Hanoi. Before that, I have stayed in several others but this has to stand out. Good breakfast and safe environment makes me go back regularly. Another plus is that it has some really cool restaurants nearby. Like Vineyard (walking distance from hotel), it has one of the biggest wine collection I have seen in a restaurant and the price is really reasonable. The fact that the hotel houses most of the airline staff says alot as well.
great hotel , nice view”
I always stay at Sheraton every time I travel to Hanoi. The hotel is located next to a lake and it is a good long walk. Breakfast was nice with variety of food. Definitely this hotel is value for money
A mini-break from our Hanoi home”
Spent two nights in a mini break. We live in Hanoi and are moving away so our home is empty. Been in Sheraton before. Ok place for this purpose at least. Very expensive food though so you might prefer eating elsewhere which is easy in Tay Ho.
Nice hotel which is essentially what Sheraton is!”
If there was one word to describe my stay at Sheraton Hanoi, it was PLEASANT! I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again. The only downside of this hotel is its location ... its a bit far off from the town center.
Very relaxing and enjoyable”
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sheraton. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Hotel ambience was very nice. We believe that they could improve their performance by making internet free for all rooms, as most hotels in Asia do.
Great stay at Sheraton Hanoi”
Our stay at Sheraton Hanoi was very relaxing and stress free as the staff at the Club lounge were very attentive and extremely helpful. Food in the hotel was very good. We will definitely come back to stay again
Nice room and delicious breakfast”
I like to live in Sheration when I go on a trip. Last month, I went to Hanoi with my friends, I still slelected Sheraton. As usual, delicious breakfast, I quite enjoyed it. Plus, friendly concierges, they really helped me a lot. thanks to these young men, it was my first time visit Hanoi, they introduced me where to go and told the taxi drivers to take me to the destinations. It impressed me a lot.
lake view hotel”
I stayed here for my business trip, and I arrived at Hanoi quite late in the evening. What I like is that it take 20-30 min to reach the hotel from the airport without much traffic. Even when I'm leaving Hanoi during the day, it also take the same amount of time to reach the airport. Perfect for people like us who is in Hanoi for business.
Close to lake , beautiful”
Breakfast and food in the hotel is great. I love to stay in this area and it is close to the lake and there are many good restaurant just walking distance. However , rooms are quite old and not really up to Sheraton standard. I had the worse room ever on the low floor and next to tennis court so I feel no privacy at all and had to stay for 3 nights. One more thing , they still charge for internet where most of 5 star hotel these days offer for free
Very good stay”
My stay was fine, with a very nice room and services overall, and a very attentive and friendly staff. My only criticism: Sheraton should stop charging for internet at the rooms! Most international hotels are not doing this anymore, it is quite irritating!
Great hotel right on the lake”
Staff were friendly and helpful. Limo from airport was expensive but lush and worth feeling safe on our first late night arrival in Hanoi. Travel agent only really set up for day tour stuff so went outside to find out more options for longer-term travel around Vietnam. Buffet breakfast very good. Afternoon tea a bit dissapointing unless you just like eating cakes - better off outside loads of coffee shops very close to hotel
Review of Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi”
Everything was great except the tennis court. The condition of the tennis court is AWFUL!!! Sheraton is 5-star hotel. One would expect a decent tennis court in a 5-star hotel.
Amazing stay for us.”
It was wonderful. My parents, my wife and me had a great time here. Everything is really nice, except the main restaurant was close during the time we stayed. The bar has good cocktails, you should definitely try them. The room is spacious, clean and the air condition is really my wife favorite (she had problem with most of the A/C, but not this one, she slept like a baby every night here) We will stay here again next time when we are back in Hanoi.
