Very good location and reasonably priced ”
We've enjoyed the stay in the Sheraton at Times Square. The room was nice and clean. The location was great. A very good hotel to explore New York.

Inquired to 5 different staff members and all were helpful and courteous. Clean and quiet. Elevators were ample and efficient. Check in line took 20 minutes. Close to many must see places, so got a lot done in one day

Good Location”
Great location in Manhattan close to many subway lines, restaurants and stores. Good value for money is you book early and get a rate under 185 per night.

Excellent location close to Times Square and Metro station, but book in advance to get a fair rate.

Acceptable”
Pro: Allowed to check in early despite that it was NY's eve. I guess they weren't fully booked. Wifi in the room isn't free, despite the insane price. It's like in the pre internet ages (!). I mean for an expensive hotel like this, and with wifi even free in Manhattan's streets? We honestly didn't expect this. It stated in the booking page that wifi is free - it didn't say only at the lobby. This is a no no for people working remotely from home (while on vacay).

convenient and comfortable”
the bf and i decided to stay an extra night in nyc so we decided to book through through . the staff at sheraton had a difficult time finding our booking at first, as we had booked the previous night and it wasn't showing up in the system. location is key! this hotel literally sits on top of the b,d, and e train. 5th avenue's infamous high-end shopping street is just one station away. the e train will also take you to the airport in an hour for just $7.50 (2.50 subway fare + 5.00 air train fare). we opted for this as we were leaving during rush hour. additionally, walk down the block and you'll reach the infamous halal food cart! ate this at least 3 times - so amazing! the room itself is decent in size for a new york room. the rooms aren't anything fancy or artistic in design but it is clean and you get what you pay for. i ended up paying $ and for the convenience, especially in manhattan, this deal was unbeatable.

Great location for value”
I chose this hotel for a trip with my mother who was visiting New York for the first time. I was attracted to the convenient location as well as the Sheraton name. In spite of the many reviews which mentioned that check-in took a long time, I did not wait more than 10 minutes. The elevators were very fast and I could get settled in without any problems. The room was clean and relatively quiet, although the bed skirts and bathroom walls did have some stains. The only thing I was not pleased with, was the toilet and shower. The water would not fill up in the tank about half the time after flushing. We basically opened the tank and manually lifted the pump to fix the problem each time (for five nights). The water pressure in the shower was also extremely low which meant that there was minimal noise coming from other rooms in the morning but it took longer than usual to wash up. All in all I am satisfied because I got a great rate, but would probably go elsewhere had I not gotten the 30% discount off the rack rate.

Great location for theater and art weekend”
We came to NY for an artsy weekend involving 3 plays and two world class art museums-- the Met and the MOMA. Everything was comfortably and efficiently supported by staying at the Sheraton. It will be even better when they stop ripping guests off for internet charges, but a cell hot spot avoids that. Dining prices are also prohibitive when there are lots of great alternatives close by. Overall, a highly positive experience.

Near to Time Square ”
Was ok, good location, good for business, shopping or dinning. Saved you a bit of time if you're here for 2 nights. But the hotel was quite old. Room or bathroom could be cleaner than expected. If you here for vacation, honeymoon and would like to enjoy the hotel facilities. Probably you have more options. The last thing I wanted to add for my last night at NYC. Message from the Sheraton: "We have just received notice that our power supply company and steam provide

Message from the Sheraton: "We have just received notice that our power supply company and steam provider, Con Edison, has mandated work for certain parts of New York City, which will directly affect our building. They will be shutting down the steam to make emergency repairs on their equipment in the street. This will require a steam shutdown on Friday, June 27th starting at 10pm and ending Saturday, June 28th at 8am. During this time there will be no hot water available...." We were one of the guests who was affected. So lucky hey.

Great location for everything”
Great value considering it's location to Times Sq, Central park. A bit of pain to get due to traffic but I'm guessing this is the same for everywhere in NY city. Rooms clean, small bathroom area but good hot water pressure.

Weekend Retreat”
Hotel was wonderful. Only thing I'd request differently next time is to be no where near the elevators. Our room was lovely, but I couldn't sleep through either night of our stay because there was so much noise from the elevators going up and down.

Great location, basic hotel”
Overall a good hotel due to location. Over crowded and understaffed. Waited v long for check in. Staff weren't too friendly. Got to pay for bag storage at us$3.25 per piece per day! (Cos we drove out to New Jersey for few days and came back). Location is good. Close to broadway and times sq. very convenient.

well located but definitely getting old”
the hotel would definitely deserve a bit of a refresh exercise! Greatly located and comfortable rooms but really, the furnitures and all equipements, including windows and bathroom need to be replaced. Due to that, the price-quality ratio does not feel very good. Otherwise, great location, 3-5 minutes walking distance from Central Park and Times Squarre. A lot of different touristic spots around, lots of restaurants and theatres nearby. Overall, it's an OK hotel but don't expect a neat and classy room.

Comfortable stay at the heart of New York”
Comfortable stay at the hotel which is located within proximity of everything that you need. Be warned that the hotel charges for wifi and even personal use of the fridge. The sensor-operated fridge auto-charges guests for minibar items each time something is removed from it, or if you place your own items in there. As I had by then purchased milk and yoghurt that need to be kept refrigerated, they asked me to pay US$50 for another fridge to be sent to me for use. It is as good as not having a fridge in the room!

Don't stay at this Hotel”
The worst Sheraton Hotel that we have ever stayed at, the location is great but it's all downhill from there, don't waste your money on a club room. The lifts are hopeless it's not unusual to wait up to 35-40 minutes at busy times for s lift, it seeme that everybody is aware of the problem with the comport control system but not a lot is being done about it. The club lounge is only about half the size that it needs to be for the number of club rooms that they have. The complimentary breakfast has been shifted to the ground floor dining room but it is almost impossible to get a lift down there at busy tinmes but no allowance has been made to the opening times in fact at the advertised closing time tha staff rush all of the buffet food away, we complained that we had just been able to get down there but they didn't care. Beware of the price of drinks in the club lounge, a burn on will cost you $18 plus tax whereas in our most Sheratons particularly in Asia ana Australisia the drinks are complimentary
