Great location for everything”
Great value considering it's location to Times Sq, Central park. A bit of pain to get due to traffic but I'm guessing this is the same for everywhere in NY city. Rooms clean, small bathroom area but good hot water pressure.
worse experience with Sheraton”
the room was so dirty..dusty everywhere.. dry apple was on the floor from guest b4.. also mini bar beer was drink by last guest which they didn't check b4 let us in.. lift system was another trouble staff were there with no help check in very long line took me nearly hour to get in to the room very disappointed...
A great hotel at a great location”
Situating at 7th Ave, the hotel is near major attractions such as Broadway, 5th Ave shopping belt and Central Park. There's a subway near the hotel about 3-5 minutes walk away that could bring you to Downtown for other attractions such as 9/11 Memorial Site and ferry to Statue of Liberty.
Hotel was wonderful. Only thing I'd request differently next time is to be no where near the elevators. Our room was lovely, but I couldn't sleep through either night of our stay because there was so much noise from the elevators going up and down.
Near to Time Square ”
Was ok, good location, good for business, shopping or dinning. Saved you a bit of time if you're here for 2 nights. But the hotel was quite old. Room or bathroom could be cleaner than expected. If you here for vacation, honeymoon and would like to enjoy the hotel facilities. Probably you have more options. The last thing I wanted to add for my last night at NYC. Message from the Sheraton: "We have just received notice that our power supply company and steam provide
Great location for theater and art weekend”
We came to NY for an artsy weekend involving 3 plays and two world class art museums-- the Met and the MOMA. Everything was comfortably and efficiently supported by staying at the Sheraton. It will be even better when they stop ripping guests off for internet charges, but a cell hot spot avoids that. Dining prices are also prohibitive when there are lots of great alternatives close by. Overall, a highly positive experience.

convenient and comfortable”
the bf and i decided to stay an extra night in nyc so we decided to book through through . the staff at sheraton had a difficult time finding our booking at first, as we had booked the previous night and it wasn't showing up in the system. location is key! this hotel literally sits on top of the b,d, and e train. 5th avenue's infamous high-end shopping street is just one station away. the e train will also take you to the airport in an hour for just $7.50 (2.50 subway fare + 5.00 air train fare). we opted for this as we were leaving during rush hour. additionally, walk down the block and you'll reach the infamous halal food cart! ate this at least 3 times - so amazing! the room itself is decent in size for a new york room. the rooms aren't anything fancy or artistic in design but it is clean and you get what you pay for. i ended up paying $ and for the convenience, especially in manhattan, this deal was unbeatable.
Sheraton Hotel and Towers, New York”
This was my third visit to this hotel. I like the location because it is so close to the Ed Sullivan Theater (Late Show with David Letterman). I recommend paying extra for the club level for the breakfast. I never took advantage of the club during the evening so I can't comment on that. Busy hotel but my rooms have always been quiet.
The cafeteria is not safe. I bought a fruit cup and cause me throw out
No kettle in the room very disappointed
Do not stay here”
Before I went i thought it’s Sheraton what could go wrong and oh man i was wrong. Everything was wrong since the lobby all the way through check out. Lobby was filled with hundreds of people. Guests had to wait in long line just to check in. There was hair and spots in my toilet and bedsheet. Walls were paper thin. I could not get any sleep. Maids were cleaning other rooms pushing carts up and down the hall, other guests stomping in and out their rooms, ice machine making loud noise and has creaky door. When i asked for new room the staff just shrugged and said nothing shencould do. The entire time i did not have one staff asked me if i needed assistance or even said hello to. They make me dont wanna stay at any Sheraton again ever!
Don't stay at this Hotel”
The worst Sheraton Hotel that we have ever stayed at, the location is great but it's all downhill from there, don't waste your money on a club room. The lifts are hopeless it's not unusual to wait up to 35-40 minutes at busy times for s lift, it seeme that everybody is aware of the problem with the comport control system but not a lot is being done about it. The club lounge is only about half the size that it needs to be for the number of club rooms that they have. The complimentary breakfast has been shifted to the ground floor dining room but it is almost impossible to get a lift down there at busy tinmes but no allowance has been made to the opening times in fact at the advertised closing time tha staff rush all of the buffet food away, we complained that we had just been able to get down there but they didn't care. Beware of the price of drinks in the club lounge, a burn on will cost you $18 plus tax whereas in our most Sheratons particularly in Asia ana Australisia the drinks are complimentary

Message from the Sheraton: "We have just received notice that our power supply company and steam provider, Con Edison, has mandated work for certain parts of New York City, which will directly affect our building. They will be shutting down the steam to make emergency repairs on their equipment in the street. This will require a steam shutdown on Friday, June 27th starting at 10pm and ending Saturday, June 28th at 8am. During this time there will be no hot water available...." We were one of the guests who was affected. So lucky hey.
Great location, basic hotel”
Overall a good hotel due to location. Over crowded and understaffed. Waited v long for check in. Staff weren't too friendly. Got to pay for bag storage at us$3.25 per piece per day! (Cos we drove out to New Jersey for few days and came back). Location is good. Close to broadway and times sq. very convenient.
we stayed for one week in a renovated club room. though room was renovated, bathroom was still not really upmarket renovation, very basic. lounge was always crowded for breakfast and happy hour. alcohol drinks not included, and very limited snacks every evening. get bored even going in for a drink after the first few days. king bed was very comfy. location was great. subway and good restaurants nearby. easy stroll to all theaters. overall a good stay.
Great location for value”
I chose this hotel for a trip with my mother who was visiting New York for the first time. I was attracted to the convenient location as well as the Sheraton name. In spite of the many reviews which mentioned that check-in took a long time, I did not wait more than 10 minutes. The elevators were very fast and I could get settled in without any problems. The room was clean and relatively quiet, although the bed skirts and bathroom walls did have some stains. The only thing I was not pleased with, was the toilet and shower. The water would not fill up in the tank about half the time after flushing. We basically opened the tank and manually lifted the pump to fix the problem each time (for five nights). The water pressure in the shower was also extremely low which meant that there was minimal noise coming from other rooms in the morning but it took longer than usual to wash up. All in all I am satisfied because I got a great rate, but would probably go elsewhere had I not gotten the 30% discount off the rack rate.
well located but definitely getting old”
the hotel would definitely deserve a bit of a refresh exercise! Greatly located and comfortable rooms but really, the furnitures and all equipements, including windows and bathroom need to be replaced. Due to that, the price-quality ratio does not feel very good. Otherwise, great location, 3-5 minutes walking distance from Central Park and Times Squarre. A lot of different touristic spots around, lots of restaurants and theatres nearby. Overall, it's an OK hotel but don't expect a neat and classy room.
fast and no fuss”
fine but the room is so cramped and charges are high
