Our favorite Seoul hotel in Gangnam!”
We have stayed twice now and the quality has been consistently good. Clean rooms, comfortable bedding, gracious staff (allowed us late checkout). The only tip is to take a taxi back to the airport because the KAL bus goes to about 10 other hotels before the airport....took us 3 hours, which should have been only 1.5 hours. We walked to the Paris Croissant for a delicious breakfast. The prices at the hotel were a bit spendy, but a short walk gets you to wonderful restaurants.

Sheraton Seoul Palace Hotel is located in very good area for connecting everywhere in Seoul via public transport, it is very close to subway station, express bus terminal and also airport bus stop. Their staffs also have great service-mind. If you love running, it is around 10 minutes walk to Banpo Hangang Park that offers incredible view of Han River.

Wonderful location ”
Very good hotel. Good rooms . However on arriving in the room the toilet was clogged which was unpleasant; it got fixed but not a nice experience. The gym was good to use again not open on the last Monday of the month which was inconvenient; all service should be done in the night . Lastly you would expect breakfast to be included when paying premium price for rooms.

I enjoy staying at this hotel, and I needed a place to stay for a night while I was attending the U2 concert. I needed to check in early in order to get to the concert on time, and they were courteous enough to allow me to do so. I am very grateful they did. I arrived back at the hotel late, after the concert had finished, and I hadn't eaten anything, so I ordered in a lovely meal and enjoyed a nice, hot bath. I had to check out quite early the next morning in order to make it back to work on time, so I didn't get to fully appreciate my stay, but it was very pleasant, and, as always, the staff at the hotel were exceptionally nice.

Staff was terrible”
Although there was not so many guest in the hotel, it took 10 mins to check in. Additionally, Key was not working for our room. We had to go back to the reception. But it didn't happened only once. the key was not working next day as well. Room and lacation was good! But i do not really recommend you this hotel Cuz of not trainned staff.

The Staff Has Always Been the Saving Grace of this Hotel”
Love the staff. They are extremely professional and helpful and I can't say enough about the way they conduct business. The hotel? Just any hotel. The pool has consistently been an awful experience at every stay whether on business or with my family. That needs to be handled. Also, inform guests that construction will be happening when they book, and clearly explain what and why you NOW charge an 'extra person fee' when you didn't before. Nobody likes to be nickel and dimed to death!

Good business hotel”
This was my first visit to the Seoul Palace and I was pretty pleased with the overall experience. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, although I found the traffic noise from the highway outside to be a little disturbing. The breakfast was very good, if a little pricy (like all hotels in Seoul). The pool was a good size. If I'm honest, I found the location to be a little out of the way from where I needed to be for business at the COEX exhibition centre and meetings around Gangnam station. Be aware that although the hotel is next to the Express Bus Station subway, some of the walking transfer times are quite long, turning a 2-stop ride to Gangnam station into a 30-40 minute journey. A taxi to COEX took between 20-30 mins depending on the traffic. On the plus side, the hotel is a short walk from a lovely low rise area featuring some excellent bars and restaurants.

Great hotel but more of a business hotel”
the room was spotless and very comfortable but for the price, it was expected. we got the executive hot deal which included breakfast (pretty basic but good enough for me), happy hour (beer, juice, and few snacks), and afternoon snack (juices and fruits)...so for all that being included in the price, i thought it was a good deal. the location near express terminal is convenient for traveling outside of seoul. however for some nightlife, you'll have to travel few stations on the subway. but a good choice for a business hotel.

Great location in Gangnam”
We have made the Seoul Palace our main choice when staying in Seoul. The location is the main draw. The hotel is just off the Olympic Highway from the airport and also near Highway 1, the Seoul-to-Busan expressway. Garage parking is easy and free. To the north and east is Center City, a large shopping complex adjacent to the intercity bus terminal and containing three subway stations. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from a hiking trail that runs for several kilometers through a succession of parks and other open spaces. The entrance to the trail is by the pedestrian overpass from Center City. The hotel is also just east of an upscale but pedestrian-friendly Seoul neighborhood with a large expatriate community. The executive rooms at the Seoul Palace are the best value. The regular room charges are lower but one pays extra for daily internet (12,000 won), breakfast (35,000 won) and the sauna/gym. The breakfast buffet is very good, and the evening wine bar has enough food to serve as dinner. The hotel service is efficient and low key. We had two minor glitches during our stay, a billing issue and a blocked toilet. Both were fixed immediately and courteously.

Great hotel with very good price. I heard that it was an old hotel but I assume it was remodeled recently and it was good. Especially compared with the 5-star rated franchised hotel right next to Seoul Palace, it was half-the price but the service was almost similar.

The Staff Were Very Professional”
I was a little testy when I arrived. I used the Agoda secret deal to book the room, so I received a good price for the room, but I was concerned that I might get raked for all of the "amenities" in order for them to make up some of the difference. In my opinion, at a 5 star hotel, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, comb, and water should automatically be complimentary. That is not the case in some cases, so when I asked, after a long bus ride, and after they wanted my card for "incidentals", I was a little bitchy, but the staff was exceptionally patient and very professional, and I appreciate that a great deal. I didn't mean to be bitchy, but when you offer a deal, as a 5 star hotel, then let it be a "DEAL". At first they were going to charge me for toothbrush/toothpaste and the like, but after discussing it, they upgraded me to a room where these things were suddenly free and all that I had to worry about was the mini-bar, as it should be. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
