fabulous hotel, great location. ”
We loved our stay at this hotel. We booked a club room for the four of us - mum, dad, older son and teenage daughter. The club lounge package was good, at times it was very busy and it occasionally had to wait five to ten minutes for a table but could help ourselves to food and drink whilst waiting. As our daughter was over 16 we could use the adult infinity pool - again it was very busy but staff handled it very well and kept an eye on beds that were not being used ( would be a good suggestion to tell users to remove their towels when leaving, not everyone has the manners and common sense to do this but it would have made more sun beds accessible a lot quicker!) Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms and views were amazing and a great location to get out and about. Would most definitely go back!
I booked 3 rooms for 4 night for Indonesian Navy who get invited to had a meeting in Hawaii. We choose Sheraton because we hope to get a good service Me and agoda team already ask Sheraton reservation to get the type of room that we want, what kind of bed etc Based on agoda team notes,Sheraton also already said 'confirm' for the request that we ask. When our Embassy arrived to check in and prepare the room for our General, the request TOTALLY MESSED UP. Simple things example: the reservation said twin bed can be arranged to become double bed.but when we talk to room service team they said 'How come it can be joined?the bed is pinned to wall and floor' Is this Hotel like Sheraton class give a solution to guess?they even dont know the situation of their own room. We are dissappointed.
Complaints about parking expenses”
When first inquiring about parking fee at check-in. The person in charge of the resort said that the parking fee is included and there is no extra charge, but when I checked out and received the bill, the parking fee was charged separately. I asked about that part, but the policy changed and I was told that the parking fee would be charged separately.
In the middle of buzzling Waikiki”
Great location right in the heart of Honolulu with surrounding shops and restaurants. Views are awesome and there are two swimming pools, one of them is infinity pool overlooking the beach. Wifi is free unlimited.
The Sheraton hotel is situated in the heart of Waikiki, with easy access to shops and the beach. The bars and staff are wonderful. Hotel parking free and we were given a gift on arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel.
great hotel, great location and beautiful pool”
overall our stay was fantastic, the views were amazing (we had an ocean front room), the bar was good and the pool was beautiful. the main negative was that there were not enough pool chairs around the infinity pool, and you really had to put your towel on a chair by 10am to get a chair for the day which seems ridiculous.
The best view I have ever had from a hotel room!”
The hotel is nicely renovated with comfortable rooms. I would highly recommend paying a little extra to get an ocean view room beacuse the view is amazing....the best view I have ever had from a hotel room!!! When we went it was the middle of summer holidays so it was very busy and you had to get to the pool at 6am to get a chair around the pool, but the beach was just as nice to relax at.
I stayed in a seaview room. It's amazing and do deserve to stay in a room like this when in Waikiki. Spectacular sunset and sundawn. Just relax in the balcony to see the world rolling on. Just some minutes to shopping area. Kind services.
Staff were protesting for better pay. Awoken by protesting at 6.50am, 7am, 7.20am the 3 nights I stayed there. Restaurant closed too because of strike and limited house keeping. Nice pool, nice view and good location. Comfy beds.
Love this hotel. ”
you can find everything in this hotel-mini mart, nice bar at night, coffee shops, shopping arcade, and many more.
One of my favourite places to stay. Love everything about this hotel
Okay. The hotel is a bit dirty and a bit rundown. The insulation is not great. As with most aging hotels, there is consistent repair work being done. As for the "unusual" I ate in the breakfast buffet and there was a TOENAIL in my scrambled eggs. So disgusting I cannot tell you. When I showed the server, he was incredibly apologetic... But unsurprised! I had him toss all my food. Funny thing is I paid as if I ate. Just with toe-jam in my stomach and a lot of apologies in my ear. This is a lifetime first for "fight club" style "craft services terrorism" and while funny if its not your hotel, it is memorably unpleasant when it is your experience. The hotel is a bit dirty and slow but generally ok otherwise. Skip the buffet though!&
Nice stay close to the beach in Waikiki”
We did enjoy our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki as it was conveniently located to everything central in Waikiki, everything was in walking distance that we needed and always felt safe walking around the hotel area. The staff were friendly and assisted us when we needed help. The only dampener on the stay was that we booked "discounted rates" per night, but we were charged a $30/night resort fee to take the price back up to the non-discounted price... whats the point? It was for all items we didn't use as a family and it was a "mandatory" upsell by the hotel that we didn't need/want. We did enjoy our stay, as it had everything we needed, but the Sheraton didn't really represent value for money. We'd book another hotel next time, not right on the beach.
Nice beach hotel.”
The stay there was ok. Very nice pool view. Have to book and pay for the seats in front of the pool. Service by the pool was ok. Check in staffs not very friendly, they don't seem they want you in their hotel, no smiles.
Overall, the facility locates in the heart of Waikiki. I have been to Waikiki 3 previous times, but this would be first time at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach. It is well kept and relatively clean. My first experience there this time gave me doubt on the number of stars this hotel received. After being greeted nicely and assured that the reservation was well taken care of, here laid a few surprises: 1) mandatory facility fee (i think its $20/day, but not sure), which covers everything I don't need except for WiFi (which was available in lobby only) and LAN in the room (not a blessing for iPad/iPhone). Its not much of a fee, but it made me felt like shopping for electronics at Time Squares where you need to be careful of hustlers. 2) mysterious upgrade was offered to me. Here I booked on Agoda, an "Ocean Front", and I was upgraded to "Deluxe" Ocean Side. I got a view of Diamond Head, instead of the Ocean. I asked for what I booked, the receptionist gave it to me straight, “they are same thing”. So much for the offered upgrade. 3) All those done, I headed to the room at 3:15pm, the maid was in the room still working on it. 4) my window is overlooking other buildings 50% on the left side, while the rest I could see Diamond Head + the ocean. Interestingly, when I entered the room, the curtain was craftily pulled to cover all of left side (the buildings). 5) I placed a call for a wine opener, and did not get it. Two hours later, I placed another call, I was told that someone would bring it to the room. I then asked about when the wine-opener would arrive as I would like to sometime take a shower. I was told “don’t worry sir, we have a key to your room.” To my surprise, I was waiting in the room, while someone opened the door immediately at first doorbell. In all, it’s an ok hotel in middle of Waikiki with great view, with poor services if you are looking for one with personal touch. I did have many good laughs tho.
the location was very good right at the front of waikiki.. the rooms were old and not so well furnished..staff was good..close to all atractions..exept the room every thing was good..
Good location for guest to move around for shopping & dining/restaurants. Most of the staffs are very friendly & helpful.
Perfect holiday ”
Loved pools, shops, food/restaurants within the Sheraton. The location was the best for us. The lift was very fast and staff very professional and helpful
Great locations, great hotel”
best location among the Waikiki beach hotel, and best swimming pool. If you can afford the price, your choice must be Sheraton.
