Very good for family or young people.”
It is a member of international hostel, so it means everything is easy and simple. Many domestic young people stay here, but too young to talk, maybe Junior high school students. Room was dorm room with bunk beds, very tough but a bit narrow for tall guys. Everything is self-service with the guidance of nice staff. Public bath was very good, will stay again if I need to stop over in Osaka next time.

Clean hostel but access time during daytime”
I like the cleanliness of the room n hostel. However, there is a time that we need to get out from hostel from 10am-4pm. Which is not good for those who wants to rest.

Average hostel, bit disappointing ”
While it's called a youth hostel, it does not seemingly cater for young people at all. The curfew is at midnight, after which it is impossible to access the property. It does not allow any sort of freedom for young travellers.

Location close to train station”
This hostel was disappointing. The hostel is dated and seems like a military facility; tile carpeting, fluorescent lighting, old decor, cafeteria style cafe. The most disappointing and unbelievable thing was that the showers were located on a different floor!! The building is quite large and would take at least 3-4 minutes to walk to the other side of the building and down the stairs. Terrible. The dorm was cold and there were no plug-ins in the capsule for charging your phone or laptop. You also have to make your own bed when you arrive and no free towel. This is well below Japanese capsule style hostels. I paid less in Tokyo for a LOT more. I would only recommend it for one night because it is cheap for the area and close walk to the train station.

The quilt looked used and not replaced ..slept on the sheets without using the quilt . My bed light was not functioning . Overall value for money given the location is near the station

Look up the location before you make the reservation! ”
The staff at the Youth Hostel was absolutely amazing. The only thing that turned me down was the location, which was in shin-osaka that pretty much has nothing to do over there. Everything is more located around the Osaka station. Another big turn-off was that the shower is on a DIFFERENT floor, lots of effort to make it up there if you want to go...... and I really didn't have a great feeling on the first night of staying because it is an old facility, seems like a high school dorm with no privacy apart from a curtain... Anyway, service was lovely but would not recommend it if you are travelling for sight-seeing and a solo traveller.
