This is my favourite hotel because location is near the train station and you find stores all around even inside hotel premises. Although room is quite small, amenities are complete. I was so happy to be placed at a top flr facing Mt. Fuji. The sunset view was splendid!

Good location, 2mins walk from shinagawa station, and there are shopping place, restaurant, convenience store and supermarket nearby. We stayed in North Tower, room size is fine if considering Tokyo standard, and looks modern.

We stayed for 5 night and it was great. Room is a bit small for the price we paid but in general the room is clean and have everything we need. located right next to Shinagawa Station, making it very convenient.

I Came With My Family 2+1 , I was at the N Tower , I must say the Room was rather Small For Us, I would have to get a Main Tower Next Time If I am going to Stay there . Nonetheless , We were given to use the Business Lounge on the 17th Level for some light refreshment and food.

Very short distance to Shinagawa JR stn so good for anyone planning day trip via shingansen. Limited facilities or gadgets in the room or hotel but at reasonable cost. Direct rail to Haneda airport at 20min max travel time at 410yen per adult.

It was really awesome.”
I guess it is very important for the tourists that the distance from the accommodation to daily tour destinations. On that point, this hotel was perfect. We could move everywhere we wanted to, in about 30 minutes. And the night scene of the restaurant on 38th floor, made us feel perfect for the X-mas. "I will stay again with this hotel for my next trip in Tokyo." <- I can perfectly warp up this review with this sentence.

Great hotel with the history”
Undoubtedly this is a great hotel but the facility, particularly room is old and small and terrible in value. I’m not sure how they’ll address it.... they should go to Marriott or Hilton to learn the basics. Other than that, it’s a great hotel in the best location.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 times. Pros : near station, 7-11 & mini shopping area, lots of restaurants and shopping centre in vicinity Cons : Lacking in human touch, no room service, WiFi connectivity is slow, rooms are small, no flexibility to change room preferences, too many visitors (non occupants) at hotel lobby throughout the day

Consistent, and why I repeat”
There are a lot of hotels in Tokyo and you can go crazy trying to pick one. I have found two or three I like and I repeat. Where I stay depends on who I am traveling with and the purpose. I like this hotel for business travel, no frills, but a large room by Tokyo standards. Could use a little more care in the housekeeping as there was a strong order coming from the bathroom my last stay. Otherwise, each time I stay is pretty much the same as the last time -- comforting. Close to the best train station in Tokyo, imho, and good restaurants.

Great location for Haneda but otherwise, nothing special”
Great location because it is easily connected to Shinagawa Station which can takes you to many places including Haneda airport; however, that is probably the one of only few good things about my stay. I chose to stay at Annex tower. The room was definitely older style and also looks a bit old. The room smells a bit as well and also the amenities in the room was not as nice as I thought Prince hotel would be. One good thing is curtain is really dark so can give you a good sleep. Wifi is fast but process to connect to wifi is long and you would imagine that now wifi would be a standard and offer freely to all user On the check out date, because it is a very big hotel with over 1000+ rooms. It is more crowded and also line for baggage storage room is long and took a while. Overall, I would rather stay at smaller newer hotel which can offer cheaper room with nicer amenities and facilities somewhere else if I don't mind staying a bit further away from the airport during business trip.

Room too small”
Twin room is too small, there is almost no space to walk after I opened out my luggage. Location is a plus as is barely 3 mins from train station and there is a 7-11 within the building. Food court price is quite expensive and not that tasty.

Ageing, but convenient hotel”
Pretty much the only major hotel in the area for business travellers. East Wing is the cheapest, with Annex next. The main wing is where the most luxury is to be found but even then, you’re looking at cramped deluxe rooms and the ever so faint smell of cigarette smoke lingering from when the hotel saw its better days...

Simple and convenient ”
The hotel room was small, but by Tokyo standards, probably a good size. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, with the usual toothbrushes, combs, and supplies as with most Japanese hotels. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The two complaints I had were (1) the stuffiness of the room - the aircon was not terribly effective, (2) the lapses in cleanliness , e.g. ., the wall and table behind the TV, and the air vent by the window were visibly dusty. The major plus point for the hotel was its reasonable price and that it was really well located, just across from Shinagawa station, a major station for many train lines. The is also a limousine bus every half hour that takes you to Narita.

We stayed at Shinagawa Prince in 2013 and came back this year (5 yrs later). Best decision ever.”
Upon arrival , check in was a breeze. Grateful for the lounge access (which we didn’t get to enjoy unfortunately). Our housekeeper was awesome and cleaned our room thoroughly daily( We appreciated that). Close proximity to the train station, restaurants and conbinis. Check out was a breeze as well. Airport Shuttle Bus was readily available for our departure. We will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family. (And we will be back again!)

Hotel is in a great location just being across the street from JR Shinagawa station west exit. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the North Tower, and the rooms were very small for western standards. We were in a twin, and there was no room for the luggage, and you had to sit on the bed for any space. The bathroom is a box you step up into, if you are tall (over 175cm) it will be difficult to use. I am 168 and couldn't use the bath. Good wifi, and close to great food choices. As we were in Autumn, there was no air conditioner, only heater. Which was frustrating as it would be 23/24 degrees outside and your room would be hot and stuffy. When questioning hotel staff, they said just to open the window, which we needed for fresh air. We were on the 9th floor, and so got all the train sounds, busy street noises, sirens, occasional sewerage smell, and bugs. I am sure it is fine in Winter but was unpleasant to be in the room at night.

Room did not get made up due to accidently hitting the did not disturb button on console/nightstand”
Must have accidently bumped do not disturb button when adjusting room air conditioning/ thermostat. By the time we got back to the room, there was no housekeeping staff available. On our last night of a 2 week vacation (not all at this particular hotel) our room was not made up, and a major disappointment when we got in around 8 pm, to a disheveled room (of our own making). Customer relations sent up amenities and bath towels and yukata, so I'm assuming they must provide such items from time to time. A tent card with instructions regarding the various button and knobs on the console/nightstand would be very helpful in the future to avoid our unfortunate experience, especially as this trip was part of our 25th wedding anniversary year celebration..

Make sure which Tower!”
I was unfortunate to have my reservation place me in the East Tower - this is TERRIBLE - it is more of a cheap hostel than the "prince standard"(miniature window, tiny room, tiny bed, tiny washroom, no place for luggage). I did not realize this when I booked with agoda, although I had also booked my colleague at the same time - and they were in the Main Tower. I was able to change over after 2 miserable nights and stay the last night in the Main Tower. This was WONDERFUL - much more the Prince Standard that I expected. The view was spectacular and the room much more a standard that I would expect. So BE CAREFUL - there are 3 different towers at the Shinagawa Prince...

A very convenient location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Clean, well presented rooms. No traffic noise. A very big complex with some five towers of accommodation. Main towers, Hauhna restaurant was fantastic for breakfast. So huge but so very well organized for amount of guests using it. Great staff in all areas. Very popular, so ptepare for a short wait at busy periods!_ Encountered no problems what so ever. Pleasant stay, thank you!
