Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italia-gai
Shinbashi,Shinbashi - View on map
"We booked a 25m² size room and quite comfortable for 3 persons. When checked-in the staff were courteous and spoke very fluent English. Location-wise, it’s about 10min walk from Hamamatsucho station and about 15min walk from Shinbashi station. Ginza is a leisurely 30min-walk away. Also we can see the Tokyo tower from a distance. There’s a supermarket right next to the hotel which stays open until 11pm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Mitsui Garden, and will definitely stay there again!"

HOTEL THE CELESTINE TOKYO SHIBA
Shinbashi,Shinbashi - View on map
"We felt thoroughly spoilt in this accommodation. The hotel is in the business district but there is good public transport access and excellent little restaurants in the nearby back streets. We did a lot of walking during our stay and discovered some little gems in the area. The lounge area was a bonus which we used quite a bit as the room itself is quite small, but totally wonderful. We also enjoyed the bar area for snacks and the best gin and tonic after a long day traveling. The room we stayed in was very quiet and we couldn't believe we were staying in such a busy city. Everything we wanted was provided for. We have booked for one more night before we return home because we enjoyed our stay so much. The buffet breakfast is excellent."

Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo
Shinbashi,Shinbashi - View on map
"I stayed in Dai-ichi hotel with wife in November 2012, and must say that it is a fabulous hotel. The hotel is big by Tokyo standards, with even a huge bathroom (shower stall and bathtub). Also, we had a spectacular view of the Tokyo Tower, as well as the Shinbashi area, which was great. The main greatness of this hotel was the convenience - (1) Transport convenience : Just a <5 min walk to the Shinbashi station, which is conveniently located along the Yamanote Line. Going to Tokyo (to catch the Narita Express to Airport) is never a problem. Coming back to hotel after a shopping spree at Harajuku or Shibuya is not a problem too. (2) Connectivity convenience : WIFI was not automatically provided in the room, but we asked for a modem, which they graciously gave us for free. Connecitivity was rather fast. My wife was happy. (3) Unforeseen convenience : It rained twice while we were there. Beside lending us an umbrella, we happily found out that there is a secret underground passage directly from the hotel to the station... No rain, no pain. Also, while there was an earthquake in Tokyo, the hotel needed to do safety checks to the main lift. Hotel staff was quick to ensure that one of the cargo lift is checked for safety, and escorted the guests personally to the rooms via the cargo lift. Great job! (4) Late night convenience : There`s the convenient Lawson convenience store for late night goodies and fast food restaurants. Oh well... Only downside for most non-Japanese-speaking travellers is that the staff might not be the best in speaking English. However, with a few sign languages and pointing here and there, the hotel itself will make up for this."

APA Hotel Shimbashi Onarimon
Shinbashi,Shinbashi - View on map
"Rooms are what you'd expect from a business hotel in Tokyo, a tight fit and minimalist but functional. In room, there is an empty fridge to keep snacks and an electric kettle/thermos seemed big for the room, particularly given the single green tea bag provided. The mattress was unusually soft for Asia. Its location is convenient, as nearby Shimbashi Station is a direct shot on the train from Narita (allow a good 90 minutes for the journey though, plus waiting time for the train). The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the Karasumori exit of the station (turn left following the train tracks until you get to the next to the last street before the main road, then turn right) and is also surrounded by other subway stops on various lines. The immediate vicinity is quiet though there are several Family Marts and similar corner shops very nearby. The neighborhood also offers a selction of restaurants. I had lunch at the sushi bar (immediately to the left of the main entrance) and found my chirashi tasty. The hotel's own restaurant offers an early evening food and drink deal (two snack sized plates and two drinks) for Y800. I booked this hotel on Agoda and the price compared favorably with similar properties. However, you should note that Agoda's claim of in-room wifi – the detail that sold me on the hotel as I had work to do on this trip - is incorrect. They only offer wired LAN connections in room, and wifi on the ground floor (there are only two armchairs in the small reception area). This hotel caters almost exclusively to Japanese clients so just about everything (instructions for video on demand, phone calls, the internet, the menu of the hotel restaurant, the hotel's business cards, the coin operated washing machine) seems to be posted only in Japanese. Front desk staff I spoke to were shy about their English but were helpful a"

"The most good thing about this hotel is its location which is so close to Daimon Station and Hamamatsucho Station. From Haneda Airport you only ride Tokyo Monorail to reach Hamamatsucho very easy and fast. Close to Shinbashi, known as place for Japanese worker to gathering after their work, which means many delicious restaurant can be found on this area. Very close to convenience store such as Lawson and Seven Eleven. "
