Fantastic Hotel”

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We were there for a week and enjoyed every minute of it, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful, and everything is super clean. The rooftop bar has a fantastic view and the hospitality is par none. Our trip was cut short due to the pandemic and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating as we had to leave on short notice several days early. We got a room that had the loft space and I'd certainly recommend it. It was super nice to have a spot out of the way to stick luggage and clothing. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, conveniently located and we will returning soon.

Easy Shinjuku Stay”

Convenient location to surrounding city & train stations. Nice atmosphere & breakfast included is awesome. It’s just right with a great view. You can choose small rooms for short stays or nice large rooms with plenty of amenities to splurge and treat yourself. Will be back

CLEAN AND CONVENIENT”

Even though the location is within the red light district area, the hotel location is convenient! Hotel is clean and nice and fret not, the staff speaks English well. Metro is just a few mins walk with cool vending machines on the first floor in case of late night hunger pangs strike. We had a pleasant stay in Hotel Granbell, thank you for the hospitality.

Value For Money”

The Hotel is near subway station and walking distance from JR lines. Moving around the area is very convenient. It is also near popular ramen houses. The room is very clean and the view is excellent. Very good, friendly and courteous staff. Shinjuku Night Life is within the area.

Above and Beyond”

Not only was the stay itself excellent, but the staff went above and beyond after check out. After losing my wallet in a cab, the company contacted the hotel because they had dropped me off there. The hotel reached out to me and helped coordinate me getting my wallet back very soon after!

Very ideal hotel to stay in Shinjuku!”

The hotel view is fantastic, the location is perfect, the lounge is so accessible and convenient for guests. Very generous with drinks and snacks. The staffs are kind, especially Shu (at the reception counter)was very patient and helpful. He solved my concerns and try his best to satisfy his customers. Very excellent stays indeed.

Excellent Location + Stunning Rooftop Bar Views ”

Stayed at the Shinjuku Granbell for only 1 night this trip but would stay at this hotel again when in Tokyo. Great location - only a 4 min walk from the Golden Gai district (small Japanese bar streets), only a short walk from the center of bustling Shinjuku, and we enjoyed the happy hour on the Granbell's rooftop with a stunning view of the city. Standard Double room met all our needs.

Small room but very nice, clean, has everything might need, Great location but taxi driver hard time to find. Print map for taxi driver to use. . Lobby staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent worth the extra cost. Bring good map of area. Available maps in hotel not too good. Got lost few times, but people on street very nice and helped. High priced and medium priced stores in area. Start at Shinjuku Station with lot of good medium priced stores in the building. Others near Shinjuku station have to explore to find them. Shoppers both men and women very well dressed. No jeans here.

Hotel was fantastic there was hardly any faults that we found. Pros - Staff were very helpful and had competent English - Very clean and never had any issues with the cleaners - Location was absolutely perfect for exploring shinjuku and getting around tokyo/japan from shinjuku station - Bathroom facilitates were great had no problems, shower was very good - good sized room (deluxe superior for 2) Cons - Beds were quite firm and pillows weren’t great - Blinds werent fully blackout - Definitely not a budget hotel but quite fair fir what you get

Location is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the view is unbeatable. They staff was respectful, helpful, and very attentive. I really loved this hotel. When I go back to Tokyo and I will stay here again.

Such a great base in Shinjuku”

Loved this hotel - I'd recommend springing a few extra dollars a night for the views. You are in Tokyo after all! It's breathtaking at night. We stayed in the 'Hong Kong themed' room and it was amazing.

Nice boutique hotel”

Convenient location. Night shirts are a nice addition to the room's offerings of amenities including heated toilet seat, tons of free toiletries. The staff was friendly and helpful. Checking out was a breeze.
